WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!!! I will NEVER return to this Gillman, nor do I recommend to anyone! Once the sale is made, you can forget about the customer service! So where do I begin... I took my new car to get serviced this past weekend to Gillman FB and from beginning to end, it was a bad experience. I dropped off my car to get an oil change and was told that I would also receive the complementary wash and vacuum. I went back later that day and to my surprise the Service Dept was closed and my car was neither washed, nor vacuumed (I'm also assuming my oil was never changed?). I was never told what time the Service dept closed . I was told by a manager named Alex to come back on Monday because there was nothing he could do, since MY KEYS WERE LOCKED in the service dept. He was also so bold as to make fun of me with another employee about my situation stating in other language, "Oh she's mad because the car isn't washed. She said the poop is still on the car, haha. She's going to complain." I asked him again about what he was going to do about my keys being locked in the service dept and again he said that he could do nothing because that was a different dept. I never received a direct apology and he continued making up excuses. I left Gillman extremely upset because I obviously NEED my vehicle for work purposes. Shortly after I went home someone brought my car to my house...still dirty on the inside and out. I called on Monday to address the careless situation regarding my keys, my car, and the attitude of the other employee with the GM and after about 20 calls later, I was finally able to speak with Teno. His attitude during the whole conversation was also absolutely terrible! He made up nothing but excuses and never apologized. Teno stated that I called his receptionist too much and that I needed to work around "his" schedule. He was very disrespectful and made me feel unimportant as a customer. I do NOT recommend this dealership to anyone! I called another Gillman dealer today and they were more than happy to apologize and also offer to use them for any future services. read more

It is a shame that Yelp and Google allows people / employees to write positive reviews using pseudo names praising their own businesses. Fort Bend Honda employs a guy who uses many different names to deceive and lure potential automobile customers to the dealership. There appears to be no limits to the myriad of prevarications that both management and incompetent / unconscionable employees will subject potential customers to, in hopes of luring them in to the dealership. Inasmuch as many consumers appear to find unethical automotive dealership behavior a norm in automobile sales transactions, no consumer should ever be exposed to the unlawful business practices of the management and employees of Fort Bend Honda, who go far beyond the norm of fraud and unethical business practices to fleece their customers. Any person who reads this content should consider the same as a very serious warning with emphasis that to conduct business with Gilman Honda of Fort Bend, will likely lead to your financial detriment. In fact; doing business with any Gilman dealership is asinine and highly unrecommended. Please do not be fooled by fraudulent 5 star comments contrived by employees of Gilman pretending to be happy customers. I went there last year for an oil change and tire rotation for my Honda Odyssey...and I go home and find out that the tires were never rotated (I have 3 good year and 1 yokohama) I called and complained and was asked to bring it back. But I got it done somewhere else. Cut to last week (7/30/18)- I go there again for 60,000 mile servicing and "engine light on" issue- they told me that oil pressure switch was out - so would cost $600 to change it out plus the $398 for servicing - so I am down $1000 bucks. I get it done and go home. Next day the Van doesn't start! Lol!! I jump start it and take it back to them really frustrated. They take a look and say it's my battery!! Wait!! One of the checks on a 60000 mileage checklist is service and load test battery..I was told that sometimes the batteries act weird and give out good test!! Really!! Lol!!. And all along I forgot to check if they really rotated my tires this time..I pay another $200 for the battery..go home and next day morning just took another courtesy look at the tires!! Guess what!! They were not rotated!! This even after telling the service adviser that they had forgotten to do this last time!! So if you really want to save time and money..skip this place. I took my Honda accord to the service department after the Maintenance Required light went off on my car. I gave them some ideas on what I thought might be wrong with my car and left it with them while I went to work. I got a call from the mechanic a couple hours later saying that they needed to flush my transmission fluids and changed my oil. I agreed, so they went ahead and started on that. They called me back then a half hour later now claiming that my power steering pump needed to be replaced as well as my brakes. I asked them to show me the damage and they pointed at some random stuff under my hood and claimed to show me all of the leaks. I was still suspicious, so I took it for a second opinion, and I found out that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my power steering, it was my master cylinder. I felt that this dealership was just trying to up sell me on services I didn't need to the tune of $1200. When they found out I was willing to pay for certain services, they had another mechanic look at it to see what else they could sell me on. I will not be bringing my car back here because I do not trust that they are doing the right thing for me or my car. read more

The cost as described by Sunday Salami was exactly as described and agreed to. Great work closing the loop with me. I purchased a 2020 Ridgeline from this Honda dealer. Over the phone, the sales manager, Caesar, asked if he could be given the chance to better the deal offered to me by the Honda Dealership in my home town. At first, I told him no; I was done "haggling" with salesmen. He insisted, so I relented. An hour later he called me to say that if my trade-in was in as immaculate a condition as I said it was, he would give me what I was looking for from my home-town dealer. The next day, Caesar introduced me to Julio, my salesman, who dutifully followed the instructions of his manager; no haggling, no wasting of my time. Their finance guy, Dominick Pisano treated me the same way. I said "no thanks" one time and our paperwork was done in 10 minutes. No "upselling," no guff! This is the first time I have ever felt really good about buying a vehicle. I will drive the hour-and-a-half to purchase my next Honda from this dealership. read more

Never felt rushed or pressured about picking and choosing the car that I wanted. Jimmy has been our salesman from day one. Again from the minute I started talking to him about what I wanted he was very patient and understanding. He took the time to give us all the in information that we needed. Therefore, I was able to get the car that wanted without having any pressure. What I like the most is that after we bought the car from JIMMY all the way to the General Manager Aldo C. till this day they still do follow ups on me. Called to negotiate a vehicle and the manager stated a higher price of $800.00, than what they have it on their website and CarFax. The vehicle was priced at 11,791, the manager wanted 12,500. Spoke to Robyn Helton attempting to negotiate the price and pay cash, she refused to tell the manager what my highest cash price was to purchase the vehicle. She is a useful as a hemorrhoid. Acted as I was wasting her time in the few minutes I talked to her over the phone. If she was unwilling to help over the phone, I can just imagine the service I would get in person. Everyone else was just trying to push another sale, rush me, sell me on things I didnt need, lie to me and overall BS me. if you go there, make sure you ask for Michael Love in the sales department. I came in for a routine oil change and multipoint inspection, but left four hours later with a brand new 2025 Honda Accord. It was the most seamless transaction I have ever experienced at a car dealership. I'm not sure about the negative reviews I'm seeing. I've been dealing with Gillman Honda in Rosenberg for over two years. I've never had any problems with any of the staff. I've received good service when having maintenance on my car and once I had a warranty repair with no problems. I've just purchased my second vehicle form this dealership and have always been treated fairly and all questions answered.
