This is my second Ford I've ever driven, and I'm not used to leaving my car at a dealership for a week for them to diagnose the issue, especially compared to when I take my Japanese vehicles to the dealership and they diagnose it right then and there. Other than that, they take good care of me and my vehicle, though I haven't had any major repairs done because any smart person knows that dealerships tend to overcharge. 1.) Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid This Dealership at All Costs I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience with Legacy Ford in Rosenberg, TX, I felt obligated to warn others. From the moment I purchased my vehicle, it's been nothing but a nightmare. The car I bought was damaged at the time of sale, and when I attempted to have it replaced or repaired under my full warranty, the dealership outright refused to cover it. They made excuses and gave me the runaround instead of standing by their word or their vehicles. It gets worse. When I brought my car in for service, they kept it for four days--even though I told them I needed it for work. During that time, I was ignored repeatedly, with my calls going unanswered. Not once did anyone bother to update me or offer a courtesy vehicle. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. As for the salesman I dealt with--Jacob Reyes--he was the worst part of the whole experience. He lied about what was covered, made false promises, and even threatened to take my car back when I was unable to provide a utility bill for proof of residency--after the sale had already gone through! Who does that? This place is a complete mess from top to bottom. Between the dishonesty, the terrible service, and the lack of accountability, I would strongly recommend taking your business anywhere else. You deserve better. I would put negative stars if there was an option. 2.) After finalizing the purchase, I was asked to provide proof of residency for financing purposes. I submitted multiple valid documents that were specifically asked for from them, yet I was repeatedly told by the finance department that they were not acceptable, without clear explanations or guidance on what exactly was required. The situation escalated when I began receiving threats that the dealership would repossess the car unless I provided additional documentation--despite having already complied with their requests several times. This created an extremely stressful and uncomfortable situation, especially considering I had already taken possession of the vehicle in good faith. Additionally, I requested a hard copy of my paperwork for insurance purposes on October 2nd. I did not receive this essential documentation until over a month later, on November 1st, which caused further inconvenience and delay in securing proper insurance coverage. Found a great deal online on a 2025 Colorado work truck with less than 500miles. Price listed online was $30,400 so we reached out to make sure the deal wasn't a mistake before driving three hours. Salesmen assured us the price listed online was correct and we could possibly get a better deal once in person. Drove up and the first red flag is they sit you out in the open in a food court style lobby and take your license to the back. Next they have the poor salesman walk back to the finance manager who decides it's good business to jack up the price to $34,000. I brought my car in for mechanical repair due to a persistent engine issue that I had clearly described when dropping off the vehicle. I was told it would be inspected and repaired within a day or two. After several days of limited communication, I was finally told the repair was completed. Unfortunately, when I picked up the car, the original problem was still present. Not only was it not fixed, but it also seemed like no meaningful diagnostic work had been done. I even paid for labor that, frankly, didn't result in any progress. I returned to the shop to follow up, hoping for a solution, but was met with vague responses and no clear plan for resolving the issue. At this point, I feel like I've wasted both time and money -- and I still don't have a working vehicle. It's very frustrating to trust a business with your car, pay for a repair, and leave with the same problem you came in with. I'm now having to seek help from another mechanic. I am so disappointed with the way I was treated by both the sales woman, Vanessa and her sales manager. I don't know about you, but my time is extremely valuable to me. I am always on the go and have a lot going on generally. I took the time to draft a nice, friendly and detailed text expressing type of vehicle I wanted, price range, trade in info., etc. I listed every variable you could imagine. I then added that if you were unable to assist me with what I was looking for, it was ok. Just tell me! Don't waste my time as I don't want to waste yours. That day, after working two jobs, and extremely sleep depleted, I left work, drove over an hour away, and sat in god awful traffic. I test drove the car I chose out of two choices provided, and the negotiations began. However, the numbers and terms were so far from what we discussed that I was livid. Why did you waste my time, I immediately asked! I asked you not to. It would have been ok to say, No! Unfortunately, that was not the end! The sales manager came out and made it seem like he could still give me what I was looking for. He said he would contact his other dealer locations, it was also suggested that I build a car from scratch. This past Monday, I followed up, gave Vanessa my interests and she said the sales manager would call me next day that he was off. Tuesday came, NO CALL OR TEXT, Wednesday, same thing and Thursday I followed up. Vanessa said she should have followed up with her manager but assumed he reached out to me. I do feel sorry to some degree that Vanessa was only doing what she was told. However, the sales manager, in my opinion, didn't apply himself. AutoNation was going to provide me a monthly payment that wasn't actually bad and I know that if Legacy Ford really wanted a loyal customer, could have tried to work with me. This was my first time ever going car shopping. I had a good amount to put down and just wanted to see what I could qualify for on my own. Daniel, my salesman, was great--he really tried to help and made me feel comfortable. What made the experience extremely uncomfortable, though, was the way the finance manager, Andrew Hernandez, spoke to me and my mom. When it came down to needing a co-signer, I explained multiple times that I didn't have anyone who could help. Instead of being understanding, Andrew repeatedly told me I needed to "put my pride aside" and even asked, "If you went to jail, who would you call?" That comment was completely inappropriate and honestly made me feel judged and embarrassed. I've never been in legal trouble, and I don't appreciate being spoken to like I'm less than because of my situation. I purchased a new Ford Explorer from them, and within just one month, the side of the vehicle began to fall apart (I've noticed this later on other ford explorers as well) I was shocked at how quickly issues started showing up in a car that was supposedly inspected and ready to go. What made this worse was the false promises made by the salesperson who sold me the vehicle. I was clearly told that my purchase came with bumper-to-bumper protection, which gave me some peace of mind at the time. But the moment things started going wrong, the dealership completely backtracked on what was promised. They claimed there was no such coverage and left me stuck with the repair costs. I feel misled and taken advantage of. I brought my car in for service at Legacy. I had a recall notice, and the computer kept restarting and needed to be replaced. During the time they had my vehicle, there was absolutely ZERO communication about my vehicle unless I was calling to track down the agent to ask the status of my vehicle repairs. I was passed off to other agents almost every time I called or came by. They were kind, professional and helpful. My agent was kind and courteous when we interacted but not proactive in any way. If I had not called, my car could have stayed there for a month, and no one would have cared. I was paying for the rental out of pocket for the second week, so it could have been very expensive had I not called them to check on the status. My agent just needs a little coaching when it comes to communication, otherwise, service experience was average. The building was clean and bright, so that's a positive. The Enterprise rental office was located inside the dealership, however there was never anyone from Enterprise staff on site when I was there. I had to wait for an hour or more for someone to drive over from another location in Rosenberg and shuttle me over to rent a car. This was very inconvenient and disappointing and a big waste of time. It took approximately two weeks for my vehicle to be repaired. The first week it sat waiting in line for repair behind the sale cars taking priority. They covered the price of the rental the first week, as they should, since they kept my car waiting. They started repairs Monday of the second week and by Friday I called to find out it was ready for pick up. So far, my car has been running since I picked it up, so I have faith that they repaired it correctly. I brought my vehicle in for service hoping to get help from the fleet manager to get appraisals on several of my fleet vehicles. My company has 23 vehicles that I own. We need to rotate six of them out of our fleet so we can purchase some new fleet vans. The fleet manager promised he would have the appraisals for me on several occasions. I called weekly for three months to get the appraisals, and he kept promising to get them done for me. When I came in for service, I dropped in to check on the appraisals in person, he told me it wasn't worth his time to do the appraisals, because he nor the appraiser got any value from it, then I offered to pay a fee for the appraisals. At that point, he promised to get them for me the next day. Of course, another lie, still not done, excuses, excuses. You would think that getting the service business for 17 vehicles would be of some value to the company, but I suppose he would not benefit directly from that. It has been over three months and the insurance for our extra six vehicles each month is more than the value of the vehicles. We cannot sell them until we get the appraisals. Our business is growing, and our fleet vehicles need to be replaced but we cannot do it without getting the existing vehicles off our books. I have been very patient with Legacy through the manager's excuses and personal problems and now have no desire to do business with Legacy Ford at this point. The manager cannot be trusted to follow through with his promises. I will be finding another dealership to service our business. I am truly disappointed in Legacy Ford, partly because of the lack of communication, which can easily be fixed, but mostly because of the shitty dishonest fleet manager, who agreed to help me for three months then told me that my business is not worth his time. read more

Well its obvious I'm dealing with trash here. I have attached two photos for proof. I contacted their sales guy that was advertising a 2023 Ford Bronco for $105,000, which is $32,000 over the manufacturer suggested recommended price. I messaged and called in advance to make sure I wasn't wasting my time because they are located about an hour away from where I was. I agreed to pay $32,000 over the MSRP, I just asked they were fair with my trade-in price too. The sales guy that was helping me was Jacob Reyes. I texted them pictures of my vehicle, my vin and told them roughly where I need to be at for my trade. He assured me multiple times that we were not far off on agreeing on a deal. I made the decision to drive to Legacy Ford based on his promise that we weren't far away on agreeing on a deal. I'm obviously flexible due to the fact I was okay paying $32,000 over a recommended price by Ford. Little did I know what I was in for. When I showed up that was when they pulled their out their dirty tricks. They presented a new offer to me and asked $50,000 over asking price. I told Jacob what the heck is this about, he was like this is what they do. They try to trick or con people into getting ripped off. I told him absolutely not. I told him that you promised me we were close to a deal, but when I show up not only did they not want to properly negotiate like moral human beings they jacked the price up another $20,000 on top of the $32,000 they were asking before! They literally pulled the rug from under me thinking I would be desperate for a new car. Jacob blamed the new cars sales manager for this whose name is Abraham Barajas. These guys are immoral and have no respect for peoples time. They knew in advance what their sales price was, yet they decided to jack it up another $20k when I showed up. Not only that they offered me $20,000 below market for the value of my 2021 Bronco Badlands with 8k miles on it. So they somehow think its ok to overprice a vehicle by $50,000 and then try to rape me by offering me $20,000 less than the market price for my trade. This dealership represents the fear most consumers think about when they worry about getting ripped off at a dealership (aka Stealership). This is exactly why direct sales to consumers will be the way of the future. Everyone will pay a fair market price, they will leave out the greedy middleman. I can't even say the people who attempted to help me were humans, they lack morals and respect. I think dealing with robots would be a better experience than dealing with these guys. It is a sad unfortunate fact that this dealership deserves this 1 star review. It is pretty sad to see a business have an average of a 2 star review. I ended up with a monthly note $20 more than I wanted, but figured that I'd use my points and get a bed cover. Going on a few months now my transmission went out. Thankfully I went through the paperwork of purchasing the vehicle and found out I actually do have warranty AFTER they lied about nothing they can do. Even with the warranty, you are not a priority. My car has been there since 1st of October and I have yet to get it back and they don't provide you a loaner claiming they have a 4 month waiting list. Spoke to Mark Stavinoha and he tells me " well you did buy a used car and not brand new". Like that makes up for a recently purchased vehicle having a transmission go out less than 6 months of having it. We were traveling from California through Texas on our way to Missouri when our check engine light went on along with a shift fault indicator. We called several local dealerships to take a look. Legacy Ford offered to plug in a computer diagnostic the same day I called. It showed it needed further diagnosis which couldn't happen till Monday and it was Saturday. Shady Business First and foremost I would like to voice my extreme disappointment with the service that I have received at Legacy Ford. My wife and I have spent two months trying to find the right vehicle for my 16year old son. I found a truck at your used car dealership and was working with Eduardo. We are an hour and half away in Bryan Texas so I reached out to Eduardo to secure the vehicle to purchase. Friday evening I was back and forth with Aaron and Eduardo trying to secure a deal for the 2016 Chevy Colorado. We agreed on a price, and I called Friday evening to place a deposit, Eduardo said I could place deposit in the AM because they were "busy". I called in the AM today Saturday and told Eduardo we would be in later this afternoon to make the purchase and we couldn't make a deposit. I was sent a credit application to get the ball rolling and was expecting to get the deal done when we arrived at 2pm. At 12:30 I let Eduardo know we were on the road to come get the truck. I got an immediate phone call from Eduardo, he told me the truck was just sold. This is the second time in a week this has happened to me. I'm not sure what kind of business you are running but I don't understand how this could have happened as we had already agreed on a price and I already had my credit application in the works. This reveals a lot about your business and shows me you don't have any integrity and operate souly on greed. You chose to sell a vehicle out from under another customer because of money. I don't have any respect for your business and I will make sure the public knows exactly how I was treated and hopefully you folks learn how to treat people better.
