came here every morning while we were upstate because we were THAT obsessed. easy parking via street or parking lot across the way. not much seating space but just enough if you want to sit and read by the windows (more space in the back patio if the weather is nice). the staff are SUPER sweet and helpful, very knowledgeable of their menu. i got their matcha honey latte iced the first time and their matcha salted maple latte iced the second time and both were absolutely delicious. the color was perfectly deep green and didn't need any additional sweetener at all. i was blown away. my friends got the coffee and they too really enjoyed it. one friend tried their french sodas and loved it so much he got another one the next day. overall highly recommend trying out this coffee shop, if i'm ever back in the area i'll definitely make it a point to come back! read more

This was a morning if needing espresso and I'm so glad we found this place. The inside itself was super cute but we happened to see someone go out the side door which led to a super cute patio on the river! The coffee was so good we ended up getting a bag to go. Stopped in today for something to warm us up after a 2 hour (cold, snowy, winter) hike in Taughannock Falls Park. Loved the cozy vibe, delicious selection of snacks/dessert items, and great menu of hot beverages. We ended up with a dirty chai and a hot cocoa, a chocolate croissant and an espresso brownie. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The barista was also conversational and friendly, and made our visit feel less like we were out-of-towners and more like we were welcome guests. I would definitely recommend this spot when in Trumansburg! read more

My favorite coffee shop EVER. I look forward to my drive to Ithaca just to stop by at this coffee shop. Every latte I've gotten- whether it be milk, soy, or almond milk, was frothed to perfection. The baristas here make very beautiful latte art. The coffee taste is always strong, and the milk silky smooth. The frothed milk holds up very well, and you still have nice silky thick milk, even at the end of your cup. Their chocolate almond croissant is also to die for! There are plenty of plugs near the window if you need to use your computer. Hands down, best coffee place in upstate NY! A must stop if you are passing by. read more

On a rainy Tuesday morning, iced coffee seemed to be the perfect drink to hit the spot. Gimme! Coffee is located in a great spot and has a lovely, moderately quiet atmosphere. The staff were lovely, especially when we had a rogue coffee spill, and immediately jumped to mop the floor and make sure we got cleaned off. The chai with a shot of espresso was delicious, and the lattes were very reasonably priced and the perfect amount of everything. Overall a wonderful coffee experience! read more

Gimmie Coffee almost looks out of place located on Main street of Trumansburg. However, locals and passing-byers should be grateful for it's a seriously great place in a small town. Walking in, you'd never realize it's apart of a small chain having 3 locations in Ithaca as well as 2 more locations in NYC! Having about only about 7 tables, this location is pretty intimate inside, but you can also just as easily take it outside and enjoy the views from a bench. Even though neither of us got coffee this day, I was impressed with their own lines of coffee and serious coffee machinery they had set up there. I went with a tea, that they brewed there, none of that pre-packaged tea bag stuff here. My lady went with a hot chocolate that she was pleased with as well. The prices were pretty darn reasonable as well, after we have all been custom to the outrageous prices that Starbucks charges. Well worth a spot for a quick pick me up! read more

I accidentally spilled my coffee, yikes! Super embarrassing! But they had amazing service and handled it really well, and even made me a new coffee for free (don't worry I left a phat tip). The coffee is also really great and I would definitely recommend getting the vanilla iced latte. I've also heard that the dirty chai is also good. :) read more

One of my favorite coffee places in the world, and some of the best in the Ithaca region. All the roasting is done locally, and even the perfectly-rendered baked goods are made right here in town. The baristas are skillful, knowledgeable, and friendly, no matter which location you visit. If you are visiting the Ithaca area, or you are right here in Trumansburg, and you are a coffee lover, skip the Starbucks, and make a visit to Gimme! a priority on your list of things to do while you're here. Not only do I regularly buy coffee, tea, beans, and pastries at Gimme!, I have also purchased all my home-brewing equipment from them, including a Hario manual hand-grinder. Recently the "Clever Dripper" I purchased from them some time ago began to leak, and although it was old and in no way under warranty, Brandon at the T-burg location traded it out for a brand-new model. He in no way had to do this. That is some serious customer service, folks! I've always been a fan of Gimme!, but this is the kind of thing that has turned me into a brand-advocate for life. read more

The baristas are clearly educated on the flavors of the brews in all their forms, the vibe is small-town meets little-city. I find that their coffees taste best when black, and with cinnamon sprinkled on top (though you have to ask for it). read more

Ithaca coffee monster. Gimmie provides a consistent cup at every location and appear to be taking over Ithaca. Not that this is a bad thing, I'd say Gimmie delivers some of the best coffee available in the Central New York area, I personally have never been dissapointed. Their shops are nice too, a descent place to hangout in a town full of descent places to hang out. Swing in, you wont be let down. read more

While biking with a group and deciding to stop in Trumansburg for coffee, a friendly guy stated a conversation in front of the coffee shop. We walked in to order, and the lady said all our drinks were converted. The guy was "Mike, the CEO" we were told. Wonderful coffee, cappuccino, cider, and hot chocolate. Pastries were tasty. Stopped in as we were passing through Trumansburg, bought bag (which is 12 ozs by the way) of French Roast beans (we buy French Roast often as we enjoy a dark roast coffee). Upon opening the bag when we got home in anticipation of some really fine coffee, I noticed that the beans were light in color, and not the usual shiny black as a dark roast ought to be. Oh well, we ground and brewed anyway and alas, the weakest "French Roast" ever.....we had to toss it. Tried again, added more grounds to the dripster and still, weak, weak, weak tasting coffee. Could have the wrong beans been put in a bag labeled French Roast? I don't know. But $12.00 is a lot of moola to waste on inferior coffee. read more

I took the refund and went to another shop 3 mins north, which has better ice cream. To give them credits, they are conveniently located across the Trumansburg fair and the hard ice cream was decent.

We got some black and some with oat milk or dairy to-go. We got one Leftist espresso without dairy or sweetener, and one of their current special-origins. The espresso was deep, rich, and smooth, with dark fruit or chocolate overtones. Mighty nice. While we were there, July 2026, their special origins included Ethiopian Sidamo Washed and Colombian Caficauca. The one we chose, Burundi Turihamwe, had a sweet, slightly floral or citrus flavor, with a vanilla overtone. It was very bright and smooth, and blended nicely with oat milk and a little sugar. I think that would also be the case for the Ethiopian and this particular Columbian. Both of ours tasted fresh and freshly ground. We had a lovely fresh-baked scone, too, from a selection of nearly 20 pastries. Gimme! specializes in distinct coffee varieties we don't see elsewhere. This is a whole world of fine-tasting morning fuel and sublime leisure-sipping. We bought some Turihamwe whole beans to take home with us. Aaaah.

Probably a 7 on a scale of 1-10 for coziness. The sandwich bread was perfectly crisp and melt-in-your-mouth buttery. The bacon and cheese were delicious. My only issue was the egg. This is just a personal preference, but I much prefer traditional fried eggs to the spongy, egg patty that was used on my sandwich. This was especially disappointing because fresh eggs are everywhere in this region. If not for the egg issue, this sandwich would have been perfect. Not too heavy, incredibly savory, and hit the spot without going overboard. My coffee was just OK. Nothing crazy, a little too much of synthetic sweetness in the syrup. And they asked if I wanted it in a mug or to-go cup: I said mug, as you can see this is not what they provided me. A little disappointed by that as well. Overall, I'd maybe go back but I'd ask if they could fry my egg and for half sweet lattes. And I'd confirm that my coffee came in a mug.

It's not cheap, but pretty on par with other coffee shops these days. I would assume during the academic year it'll be hard to get a table, due to how close it is to campus.

Stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast before setting out for the day. The girl who waited on us was very nice and friendly. We got a blueberry, Berry fritter, chocolate filled, and a cinnamon sugar. I also got an iced SF vanilla latte. The latte had ice cubes that were coffee which was a great idea. Latte was good - donuts were okay. Overall a nice place.

The majority of their tables are two or four tops or larger, and on weekends they're dominated by lone customers on laptops, sipping their drinks at a snail's pace (or obviously done consuming) avoiding eye contact and staying in their seat as they gaze intensely at their laptops. ‍ As a result, I've never been able to sit and enjoy this new contribution to the West End. Once I got a cup to go, and it was really good. Would like to try the food and sit but, sadly, my schedule only allows weekend café going. I cannot compete with the laptop lingerers. Owners of FP, if you're reading this, here is something I'm seeing when I travel around to cafés lately. Maybe something to try on weekends?? Unless you're fine with people lurking with one drink for hours on end and, taking away large tables from new customers?

Had a nice breakfast here on my last day in Ithaca! The inside is super spacious with plenty of…read moreseating, and I like the plants on the shelves. There are also two single restrooms. You order at the counter, and the menu is pretty extensive. The employees were super friendly. I got a protein bowl (eggs, spinach, avocado) for breakfast as well as a cup of lemon chamomile tea (came in a huge mug which I liked). The food came out pretty quickly.
