The nail that needed to be fixed was put superglue and then with all builder job, you basically take all of that off anyway so nothing new was added but the superglue and I was charged five dollars for that was fine but then itself I really just wanted a different color pink which that party nailed but I was charged like an additional $10 for design which I don't even like that's a design an additional five dollars for the nails being almond shaped which they were already previously almond shaped and I just feel like my nails weren't done properly like even on the thumb you can kind of see the ripples and I feel like my cuticles are a little flooded. I definitely will not be back for this set for a refill on builder. It came out to $81 and I kind of feel like that's a little bit much. The place was decent and they do have a large selection of colors but the chairs are old and decor has a lot of neon lights so not really my style I did think it was nice that they had the mani and pedi station separated but I didn't try that due to not needing yet.

They usually offer complimentary beverages. If they don't, it was simply an oversight...just ask! There is a 5th guy there named John that seems to have his own thing going on. I've never seen him waiting around for customers. He seems to come in for, communicate with, and work on a set schedule of regular clients. If you are one of John's clients, maybe you could write a review detailing what that is all about. I'm usually a short, square, neutral gal, but the owner is happy to embellish me when I get a wild hair for design - think festival or holiday time. Since I'm customarily boring, I always tell her I'm planning design as early as possible so she can schedule appropriately & I don't F Up the remainder of her schedule. She can do aaalllll the things, but if you wait until go-time to request some outrageousness, she may not be able to work it in. They usually get walk ins seated within 5-20 minutes. If they can't get you in , they won't lie to you and have you waiting around for an hour. I have two primary reasons for sticking with a nail salon 1. Quality work. 2. Real people. I never understood people who don't communicate what they expect or say, "whatever you think is best" & then complain when a service isn't what they "expected." Every tech at Lotus has wanted to understand what I want and has worked their best to provide. Luckily for me, Lotus Nail Spa was only the second place I tried and I couldn't be happier. The owner is absolutely delightful. You can tell she really cares about her clients and their satisfaction and made me feel like I was her number one client. The atmosphere is very calming and welcoming. My technician, Loan, did a great job. She was thorough and didn't try to rush the process. I highly recommend this salon.
