The staff went above and beyond for my family and I. For starters the man working the bar came and cleaned down my sons high chair before I put him in it. He was adamant about it. Then our waitress Liz was the most remarkable waitress in my entire life! She went the distance for my one year old, got him peaches and crackers to snack on. A sippy cup and brought his nuggets out early so they could cool down and eat when we eat too. She interacted with him the entire visit it was so heartwarming! The food was delicious too! Esp the wings! The overall service was great and it was sooo nice and clean inside! The atmosphere was perfect! Plenty of parking in front and back too! I ordered take out lunch for my son, daughter and myself. The order was ready in about 30 minutes. I felt that was slightly long since it was about 1:30 and not many people there, it was over $50 and the food was average. The BLT was not even the quality I can make at home. Had to stop in to one of the bars as it was a dry town when I went to the Rock. Wasn't drinking but wanted to try the burger. It was a good bar burger, cooked medium with plenty of cheese. The fries could have been warmer, they are best when they come out of the fryer, these seemed to sit a bit. Got a pink lemonade to wash it down which was quite tasty. Clientele on a Saturday afternoon was mostly locals. There were a few students, but most of them were working. The staff was very friendly and our server, Dominique, was efficient and personable. I assume the atmosphere changes in the evening when more students probably show up to drink. Our table was sticky...but the silverware was clean. Festive atmosphere with plenty of TVs and a friendly staff. Friend used the ladies room and mentioned a chalkboard for confessions, like "I slept with my boss", which was funny. I go here frequently to enjoy their Pepperoni Balls. They really are the best around!! I highly recommend the place if you love them. Everyone is usually very friendly that works there. It can be a little loud at times when it's busy, but the food makes up for that. read more

Living in Slippery Rock, we have been a weekly visitor at least two to three times a week since the University has finished their school year and sent most of the students home. Our experience has been very good. Your serving staff are also very good. We have enjoyed talking to most if not all of them including Hilary, Stacy, Damian. Lizzie, Ernie, Rebecca and Ray. Been here several times over and have yet to be impressed. Food is sub par, service is slow, and over priced for the quality of food. I ordered a Caesar salad and when it came out I knew from looking at it that it wasn't going to be great. I've gotten that salad from here before and it's been pretty good, but this time was not. I took two bites of it, and could barely stomach the amount of dressing that was loaded on the thing! I asked the server (Hannah B) if I could get a new salad because this one was literally not edible. She sure took her time "asking her manager" what she could do about it. She came back and said they could only bring more lettuce, which is ridiculous because any other place would have brought out a different salad. We've stopped here a couple times. Sometimes it's just drinks and sometimes we will get food as well. We stopped with our family, had a couple of drinks and ate and left really happy. The menu is big but both of us decided to try the pizza and we were happy we did. There was a gluten free option for me which was great. The pizza was good, cooked well and was served quickly. Our drinks were brought out quickly as well, despite almost all of the tables being full. We were able to pay our check and leave without much wait. This place can get busy in the evenings with the college crowd but it's worth a stop. Prices are reasonable and there is adequate parking in the front and back of then building. read more

I felt it was a little uncomfortable and especially if you were big/tall. Our waitress was nice and recommended a few things on the menu like the Roast Beef sandwich or the Greek Pizza. The portion for the Cajun Chicken Alfredo was very large. I thought the chicken was tasty but there was a lot of oil at the bottom as I ate more. Highly recommend getting the wings here. They're huge and very delicious! The skin is crispy, meat isn't dried out, and they're seasoned nicely. I tried the garlic parm wings and was very happy with my choice. The garlic wasn't too overpowering and the parmesan cheese actually stuck to the wing, instead of falling off when you picked it up. We also ordered the pepperoni rolls. They weren't my favorite. The outside was somewhat tough and then inside was a puddle of grease and chopped pepperoni meat. The marinara sauce that comes on the side helped the dish, but still wouldn't get it again. Favorite spot when I'm in town. It's a college bar, but it feels a bit more intimate than your normal college bar. I highly recommend the chicken ranch wrap with seasoned fries, a chicken quesadilla, or the pickle ranch sandwich. Never had a bad server or bartender here. A slippery rock staple! read more

After tonight, I do not think my friends or I will ever come back to this bar. The bartender has given us unnecessary attitude in the past, but after tonight, the last straw was drawn. My friend was cut off from the bar and he was not nearly as drunk as the rest of my friends. She said she has been working as a bartender "for 15 years" when clearly there were more drunk customers that should have been cut off way earlier than my unfortunate friend. Other customers were noticeably unable to stand straight, keep eye contact, and were still being served drinks. We were able to take a breathalyzer test and he was way under the legal limit so clearly her years of experience lacks any logic or skill to read whether or not a customer is intoxicated enough to be cut off. The bartender was very unpleasant and ruined the entire night. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this bar. read more

Prices here are not great. They charge way more and you receive low quality food half the time (or the amount of food is pretty small for what you pay). A few of their plates that included some kind of chicken have made my friend and I food poisoned and puking. Their appetizers are delicious (and pricey again). Their buffalo chicken dip gets an A+! The service is usually pretty good with the waitresses, but don't expect hospitality from Denny behind the bar unless you're willing to flash your tits to him (he's a creep). Overall, they have a monopoly for being the only bar college kids really party at and their drink prices also reflect that. They do have pretty good drink specials tho, but most don't start til 7 and end at 10 (so stupid). read more

Your typical bar stuck in a college town with lots of TVs and a nice bar area. Unfortunately the zucchini fries were mediocre and the reubens were burnt and the corned beef had no flavor. My mother and I stopped by this college-area sports bar for lunch here after attending an event at the local wildlife rescue center. Not bad! It was empty and quiet when we dropped in, fortunately - I'm sure I would never have set foot in here during the evening or on a big game night. College student dominated bars just aren't my thing anymore. For my meal here I just ordered soup and one of the appetizers - bread with cheese, tomatoes and sauce. It was definitely delicious and hit the spot, but it didn't hit the spot perfectly. I'd been going for something basic and relatively light since most of that day I was just sitting in my car. Alas, even when going for the simplest item on the menu, the appetizers were far too big; I didn't finish mine. Yes, you can take things home, and I did, but it always bugs me when I have to ask for a box because it inevitably becomes trash after I enjoy my leftovers. I like having reasonable portions that I can finish off in one sitting. But I suppose this was never an option, especially in college town territory. While I didn't order a proper meal here, I did think the menu looked like it was full of the right mix of interesting and classic (and large) dishes that'll keep any college students happy. It's certainly not fine dining, but I doubt anyone comes here expecting as much. I'm also not a sports person but anyone who is will definitely enjoy themselves; there's plenty of TVs and the atmosphere is very "sportsy". Yep. Just said "sportsy". They put zero effort into the cleanliness of the place( it smells like old spilled beer and sorrows) and everything just looks filthy especially the bathroom. I guess if you are a drunk frat boy this place might be good.. but probably not. Drinks from the bar are bottom shelf vodka that costs $8 for an entire bottle. Very noisy, Waited over 40 minutes for food, server checked in once besides us asking how much longer for our order.
