    Lobster Sauce

This Chinese restaurant is located in a strip mall in Walpole center. There is a lot of parking, and it's a safe area. I've been here before when it was owned by the previous owners, but now it's under new management. It's a small restaurant within a sushi bar and a regular bar for alcohol. The server was very nice and attentive, and the food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered, pork fried rice, lobster sauce and a pupu platter for 1. The rice was good flavorful and fried like I like it. The appetizers were good and fresh and the lobsters sauce tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the vegetables in the lobster sauce. If you are in this area, check them out you cannot be disappointed.

The food is the worst Chinese delivery I have ever had. Kung Pao chicken from the grocery store frozen food section is even better.

Lunch special garlic chicken was excellent Abundant with chicken that was nice and tender. Came with hot and sour soup very filling as loaded and nice kick to it, fresh white rice Came with crab Rangoon with some crab in it... Beef teriyaki appetizer was a bit overcooked and tough to eat... Excellent value for 19.95 for a huge lunch special which wax 2 meals...

Updating my review to continue supporting this local business! I've placed numerous pickup orders recently. And I found that placing the order via phone is slightly cheaper than ordering online. Also, I'm not sure why Uber Eats doesn't offer it's lunch special menu options. The lunch special is such a great deal! Your entree is served with rice, soup, and an appetizer. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the appetizer is normally crab Rangoon. On Tuesdays, it's normally the sweet and sour chicken. I like they open early at 11 AM. Normally you wait for about 20 minutes for pickup orders. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall. The staff members are always so kind and nice! Sometimes there is coupon they send in the mail, so be on the lookout for that as well!!

It's these little touches that made my night.

Lovely experience x 2 weeks in a row. I've seen a few lackluster reviews and I don't understand why. The owners & staff are friendly. Our waiter was the same both times and was attentive & gracious. Their sushi chef is creative & has a great smile. The pan fried Peking ravioli were AMAZING. My husband is a chef & really enjoyed the crab rangoon! So flavorful! The lo mein could've used just a hint more flavor like sesame oil, but overall was very good & enjoyable. The spicy tuna maki was great, as was the crazy maki & California roll. The Spicy Tuna Tempura maki was a creative treat! The lychee martinis AND Mai Tais were FANTASTIC! The inside was modest & cozy - don't let that make you question it. Quite honestly, it made for a quiet and enjoyable night.

Conveniently located in Walpole Center with large parking lot. Lots of food options including Japanese & Chinese with sushi & hibachi - great lunch deals starting at $10.95. Lots of take out orders. Service was fast & efficient. Interior could use some upkeep.

I ended up ordering the same thing I got last time - not on purpose :) and it was delicious! Dining companion for pepper steak lunch special and said it was delicious! Lots of beef and tasty! On entering we were greeted by our server John there was no wait time so we were seated right away. We ordered pina coladas we did want them frozen but I can't recall if they didn't have them frozen or the mixer was broken but never the less they were perfect, I can't recall. I appreciate when a restaurant add just enough alcohol to where you don't feel like you are paying alcohol prices for something that tastes like a mocktail. We ordered a special dinner plate as we had just missed the lunch special but even so the prices were reasonable. Our meals were good and nicely portioned. They do have a bar where you can grab a drink and food. There was a tv at the bar and one near the dining area. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Finally I did notice they have regular customers and the owners know them by name. That says a-lot for a place. All around a good experience if you're looking for a place to drop in and grab a quick meal.

I would have preferred the apps first then dinner after but everything came out at once basically. It's nice and clean inside nothing fancy. We ordered pork strips, peeking ravioli, chicken fingers, orange beef, garlic lo mein, general gaus shrimp. The crab Rangoons were garlicky and delicious as always. The chicken fingers were a bit over cooked too crunchy for my liking. Usually they're light brown and lightly crispy. The pork strips were good. The garlic lo mein is usually spot on and comes with mushrooms, water chestnuts and pea pods. This time it came with green pepper which I don't like, so that was a bit of a disappointment. The green peppers usually come in the veggie lo mein. The orange beef had good flavor but the meat was tough, so that was unfortunate. My parents liked the beef and lo mein. The general gaus shrimp was tasty.

I would have liked more spice or flavored to the sauce. The fried rice had a lot of beef in it vs. . Pork which was fine . I surmised that was the Japanese version of fried rice as they have Japanese, hot pot, Chinese menu. I'll visit again . The staff was very friendly, quick, accommodating and 10% cash discount over 20.00 vs credit card fees.

Did a lunch visit with a friend, going our own way with lunch combos and adding a couple of full-order appetizers. -- Spareribs on the Bone: St Louis cut ribs with ruby red glaze, just a bit of char, and a clear honey glaze to sweeten things further. Not the meatiest, not the juiciest, and not the most tender, but they got the job done, thanks to the very pleasing flavor. These have the potential to be stellar at night. As sampled, above average to well above average, even with the flaws. -- Egg Rolls: Extra crunchy exterior and a soft, stringy assortment of both cabbage and celery for greenery, accented with pork. Above average. -- Chicken Wing (the included appetizer on a combo): Not dark of skin, but still crispy. A bit dry. Kinda plain, with discernible but light marinade. Average to slightly below average. -- Hot and Sour Soup: Not many mushrooms or other fillers. Mostly thick, weirdly gloppy broth and some scallions. Spice present, flavors good, textures not so good. Balances out to average. -- Szechuan Style Chicken with Peanuts: Other than having the two ingredients listed in the name, it didn't seem like similarly named dishes or kung pao. Pea pods standing in for celery. Chicken was high quality and the flavors were appealing, with spice coming through and a hoisin-equestrian undercurrent adding depth. A little above average even if different. -- General Gao's Chicken: My friend's lunch combo. He said it was heavy on the breading and had one-note sweetness. A mixed bag, but a worthy visit if you need something in the area. Lunch specials at $11.95 have a more than fair amount of food, so a good value. But it's those spareribs that'll bring me back. Attentive service. Parking in back of the building.
