They have a larger patio space outdoors, which I asked and discovered they are dog friendly so happy to find another venue we can bring the girls to. The patio was still shaded when we left about noon so it's a good spot for pups. Two of our group was already seated when we arrived so we joined them upon arrival. Lisa, our server, immediately came over for drink orders and confirm we were still waiting for others to join. Lisa, was so patient and friendly while the group gathered and decided what to order. I asked for a glass of O.J. which was sans pulp for those who don't like it in their O.J. I prefer some to jazz it up but it was a good glass of juice. They have a good sized menu with both breakfast and lunch offerings, and it took a bit to decide on what we were eating. I decided on the Corned Beef Hash with two eggs over-medium and a pancake. I asked for it on a separate plate and she said no worries, that's how it is served. The hash was sooo good! Cooked to a crispy crust and so flavorful and not salty at all, which I loved because sometimes hash can be salty. It also came with hash browns, which were cooked perfectly and not greasy in the least. I asked for my eggs over-medium and they too were cooked to perfection. It came with one pancake (I chose this in place of toast) and it was good size cake, with a nice malty flavor. It's sprinkled lightly with powder sugar and a dispense of warm syrup was provided as well. Really good breakfast! Wife went with the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. They serve a wonderful homemade blackberry jam with the toast, which was really good and jammy. She also had her eggs done the same way as me and they were cooked to perfection. The bacon was perfect and she commented about the hash browns being cooked to a crunchy outer and tender on the inside. Everyone else said their meals were just as good and everything looked delicious. Great breakfast find and we will be back! Thank you to all of the staff and cooks!

Always hoping a local recommendation turns out great. *Service: the service was fair. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in the booth across from us on her phone and checked in occasionally. A few times we had to ask for things we needed. Nothing rude, just not especially attentive or engaged. Definitely didn't feel like her #1 priority. *Food: I ordered the tuna *melt*. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The tuna itself was relatively cold (should have been warm on a melt) and lacked flavor, the cheese wasn't melted (it's a "melt", right?), and the bread was good. I dipped and drenched in salt, pepper, ranch and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The fries were good, hot and tasty. Overall, it felt like a mid-level café sandwich made by a basic "cook", not a well curated restaurant sandwich. My lunch buddy ordered a smothered omelette that looked great, and he said it was very good, so that was good. *Ambiance: the atmosphere was decent. Very basic, a bit cold feeling, café-like, casual, and reasonably comfortable. Nothing stood out strongly other than it seemed pretty clean and bright. *Value: my tuna melt and fries, with no drink, was $16. Not great, not terrible. It felt like an $8-$10 sandwich max for what I got, not a standout value. I posted a picture of their specials board so you can get a feel for the value. *Overall: everything here was fair, food, service, and ambiance while value was not great. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. A three-star experience for me. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area and others wanted to go. *Update: I have a strong reputation for detailed, honest, and trustworthy reviews. What we experienced is accurately and honestly captured in this review. There were no misunderstandings, our experience is captured exactly as reviewed. Any responses attempting to paint a different picture are not accurate.

They took the time to go over the items with me and answer some of my questions. Villa Meola Coffee shares a space with another biz and the other biz was doing some construction at the time of my visit. Regardless, the space is welcoming and family friendly. They even have a play area for kids. Callen mentioned that "The Hot Italian" is one of her favorite drinks. It comes with espresso, hazelnut cocoa syrup, calabrian chili, and cocoa. I love spicy drinks, so it was easy to convince me especially since they make their own syrups. I opted for iced with almond milk. I also ordered a vegetarian breakfast pizza. The drink was good and the flavor was subtle. The vegetarian breakfast pizza came with eggs and cheese on sourdough bread. It was tasty and filling. Before heading out, I spotted a little shelf with locally made crafts and products for sale, which added even more charm to the café. I will be back!

I ordered the Arancello Latte, which features orange, vanilla, and orange zest. It was definitely unique, and I'm glad I gave it a try. While it wasn't bad at all, it's probably not something I would order again. I tend to prefer strong, bold coffee flavors, and the citrus notes in this drink softened the coffee taste more than I typically enjoy. That said, if you're a fan of lighter, sweeter specialty lattes with a refreshing twist, the Arancello may be right up your alley.

It was a holiday weekend so probably a factor but we were fine because we didn't have to wait and got seated immediately. Our server, Brittany, was quick to come over and ask for drink orders. We both just had water today as we had already had our coffee for the day! I ordered the Farmhouse Hash, which is (from the menu): Two cage-free eggs any style atop fresh, seasoned potatoes, bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions and tomatoes, Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Served with our whole-grain artisan toast. I had to ask for some other avocado as the slices I got were brown and yucky. Brittany apologized and brought a small plate of additional slices but they really weren't much better. Avocados are such tricky little things and when they have brown spots, I pass on them. Overall the dish was good and didn't miss the avocado. Wife got her favorite Million Dollar Back and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Both were great and perfect and if you like lemon...try these pancakes. They are so good! Overall a good breakfast experience.

He ordered the healthy turkey omelet and I went with the blueberry pancakes. I definitely got the better deal. The pancakes were fluffy, soft, and super satisfying. With the butter on top, they really hit the spot and filled me up. His omelet, on the other hand, felt pretty small. It didn't quite fill him up, and we both wished we had ordered a little more. When I think breakfast, I want something that sticks with me for a while. The fruit on the side was fresh, and the service was great. We also joined the waitlist online before heading over, which made things really easy. We walked right in and were seated almost immediately. I'd definitely come back, but next time I'd encourage him to try something a little more filling.

I asked for a spinach with hash browns and biscuits and gravy. I've never had biscuits and gravy until most recently before this visit. On the two other occasions, I tried it, it didn't stand out. Hoosiers on the other hand did. Their biscuit is most definitely fresh and didn't have that chalky taste. The gravy itself wasn't runny. If anything, it was rich with flavor. Oh what I would give to have another bite of it. What's interesting too is that, the biscuit and gravy was only a side. I loved the cheese and spinach with this omelette. The hash browns also had a crisp exterior. Our server was exceptionally nice too! To think we almost switched restaurants because they were so busy and I had to catch a flight. I would've missed out!!
