We've heard and known about this little cafe forever and finally took the plunge to try it. Located at the Chandler Airport, it took a second to figure out the parking and entrance. You have to go through a security gate which is unlocked and you walk along the pathway to the cafe. We were told to sit wherever we wanted when we came in and chose a table by the window. You really couldn't see plans coming in and taking off from where we sat but cool concept. No children, all older folks (we arrived on a Thursday morning around 9ish) and there is seating in and outside. I don't remember our server's name but she was perky, friendly, and helpful and offered up the cinnamon roll suggestion saying they were the best and something they are known for. Ok...it was good and a tad different than your traditional cinnamon roll with a thicker cake-like batter. I had the hash and eggs, nothing special (typical canned hash) and I wish I had requested it crispy because it needed more crisp to it. Eggs over medium and they were cooked to perfection. I asked for sourdough toast and had to chuckle at the perfect circle of melted butter right in the center of both pieces. So much for crust-to-crust! Wife had the chicken fried steak, apparently another well-know and favorite dish. It was good, if you like thick sausage gravy. The meat was tender and she asked for the chunky potatoes, which were seasoned well and cooked to a tender finish. Overall nothing to yell about. It was a good, decent breakfast and what really made it fun was reading all of the great signs posted around the restaurant. Breakfast for two was $40.

Had a great breakfast here with my sister last Saturday. We had a few hours to spare while her car got serviced at Toyota so we decided to come here. We got dropped off at the front and we entered through the gate. We made it past the outside dining area and the main entrance was on the front side facing the small planes. Once inside, we were quickly greeted and told to pick a table. We chose to sit inside as the outside was busy and it was already too hot. We sat down and like two seconds later our server came over, introduced herself, took our drink orders, and dropped of the menus. I ordered the steak and eggs with cubed potatoes and my sister ordered the French toast breakfast. Our food was made super fast and it came out not long after we ordered. Everything was hot and flavorful. The steak was really good as it was cooked well and tasted really good. The french toast were delicious and they were thick and fluffy. Service was GREAT and our server was attentive and nice. We had such a great experience!

Seasoned Ground beef with three eggs, sliced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and hash browns. The beef and eggs have a great flavor.

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Hanger Cafe today. We were seated right away and had a wonderful server. Everything was flavorful and made to order.

We ordered the all American, a Mediterranean sandwich and kids menu and it was all super fresh and delicious. Definitely felt like an old school diner and the cool part was seeing the private jets coming and going, with the kids, definitely was quiet the experience :)

We came here on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy. It's a nice location being next to the airport so you can watch the planes. You can eat inside or outside. Cute decor. Our server, Shannon, was very nice, friendly and upbeat. She gave us some good recommendations. She mentioned that their cinnamon rolls were just coming out of the oven so of course we ordered one as an appetizer. My husband is a little fussy about cinnamon rolls and he thought it was pretty good and he would order it again. I think it was the favorite item that we tasted. Between the 3 of us, we ordered: Chicken fried steak - my brother said it good. Greek Omelet - Nicely cook omelet. The gyro meet was ok. Potatoes were delicious. Pancake breakfast - Pancakes were good (not great) and pretty large, eggs nicely cooked and sausage patty was good with a slight "kick." All in all, it's a solid place to stop if you're in the area.

So cute and yummy. Such a sweet atmosphere and people are great. Love going to watch the planes. Would recommend outside or window view. Get the Hangar works or the airport burrito

Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something unique. The food and service are both great.

Perfect greasy spoon, which is exactly what I was looking for. You feel like you are walking into flow's diner. I went with the biscuits and gravy, which was two full biscuits and a perfect gravy with just a little bit of kick.. Being that it was the weekend, it was packed and there was a sign-in sheet to get seated. Who would've known this little hidden gem perfect for families or just a quick breakfast at the counter for one was even here?! Service was great as this is clearly a well seasoned staff. No pun intended. Get up on the second deck just to see what's happening on the tarmac at the small municipal airport before getting seated or after.

Came here with friends for brunch, and found out they don't have brunch, just breakfast or lunch. Since it was after 11am, only lunch. I really wanted an omelette. Well, on Saturdays they serve breakfast till 12, and Sunday is all day breakfast. I'll have to come back. I did not know this place existed. Very cool place. You are literally in the airport. When you are following your GPS and it tells you to go straight but the sign says Dead end, just keep going straight and you'll find it. Very low key. We ordered salads, sandwich, soup, mushroom burger. Not epic but good enough. I mainly just like the location. You can get take out and sit outside on the second floor and watch the planes take off and land.

    Sandy B.

Always a good place to start your day. You can sit outside and watch planes, and sometimes helicopters, take off and land while you dine. It's cafe styled home cooking. Think of your mom being your short order cook. Breakfast until sometime around 11. It's not a hard and fast time. But once they switch to lunch, there's not going back to breakfast. Lots of good options for both, so no worries. When the owner comes in, he speaks to everyone. Checks in on each employee. I like that. Then he helps out. Makes for what appears to be a good work environment so we can enjoy our meal.

We got morning bun and banana bread and they were so good, not too sweet, the morning bun was so flaky and good amount of cinnamon, my husband didn't like banana at all but he turned out really liked the banana bread. I tried their pistachio cold foam latte with half sweet, and it was so good, the cold foam was light and airy, the syrup didn't overpower the taste of coffee. I usually don't drink sweet coffee, just like original hot latte, but I love pistachio so had to tried this, and it was really good. My husband got the hot latte and it was even better. They have for here cups which is something I've noticed not a lot of coffee shops around the area carry anymore so that was awesome. The Moroccan latte was a HIT. Everyone was obsessed with this one, we also added pistachio cold foam on top. For the Moroccan we asked for it to be half sweet and it was still pretty sweet so be aware that this one is for the sweet tooth. The pistachio latte was delicious as well. The lemon poppy seed matcha was really good as a matcha, meaning the matcha was delcious and easy to ddrink. Not a lot of lemon flavor in it tho but the quality was good so no complaints. Their pastry selection is lacking however, this might be because we came a little later in the day but there was not a lot of options. The lemon scone was delicous but the raspberry key lime cupcake was far too sweet. However, this was an awesome shop and I would highly recommend it.

I ordered the brown sugar coconut latte and it was sooooooo good. I would say it was my ideal cup of coffee! Service was not terrible, but wasn't notable. Be sure to stick around inside to get your coffee. They only bring your order to you if it's a pastry (at least that's what it seemed). It was pretty busy inside when my friend and I went, so we chose some chairs outside. They gave her a number for her pastry and brought it out, but we had to go up to the counter to find our drinks after waiting several minutes and wondering. That all would have been great info to know when ordering initially. Definitely will be returning! Side note: If you're familiar with downtown Chandler, this won't come as a surprise, but since I'm not a Chandler-regular, I was a little surprised at the lack of parking aside from parallel parking just in front of the actual coffee shop. Ended up parking in a free parking garage, but it was a little bit of a walk to the coffee shop from the parking garage.

I love seeing them working together... I love their coffees and drinks! However, the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that their food menu is lacking and it takes so long to get it when you do order something. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.
