I have been doing my laundry at Ginny's for about six months now and have no complaints! I use the self-serve washer ($1.75) and dryers ($0.50 for 7 minutes). Typically, I'm there after hours so the workers who do the laundry service are already gone. This past trip, I had the joy of watching them work! They are extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. Even though they were busy, they made sure I had enough machines to do my laundry. No AC! Hot and humid up in here in August! There was no attendant at Ginny's on a Sunday while it was pretty busy. The change machine was out of quarters. The commercial size drier I needed kept showing an error while not working and still counting down my time...Apparently "DOOR" error means: lint catcher not closed tightly, not the door to the drier isn't closed...stupid. I won't ever be back, but I managed to freshen up my comforter with a dry-cleaning kit, which was my goal so it was not a total loss. read more

David and Bob (Robert or Bob my wife thinks?) treated us wonderfully and the service was excellent. My wife gave explicit instructions on how she wanted everything washed, dried, etc and to our surprise not only did they do as requested but they also put something in their wash or dry and our clothing felt super soft. So they picked up our laundry and brought it back in 4 days (our requested days) and we had nearly a month of 2 people laundry. The cost was $46.00. Amazing! We did not have a W/D in our new place so we had 2 choices - go to a laundry mat or rent to own at stupid pricing. With the cost and labor of doing our own laundry, we are no longer in the market for a W/D and we have freed up an easy 10 hours per month or more from not doing the laborious chores of laundry. The costs, labor and expense of buying a W/D, paying for maintenance and soap, etc have convinced us to be Ginny's clients from now on. We are huge fans. FYI, if you are concerned about getting your items back, just take pics with your phone and share with the rep when they pick it up. That way, you don't have to recall what you sent.... I decided to try out this place since it is closer to where I live than the laundromat I usually go to which is about 5 miles away. I just picked up my first load of laundry at Ginny's and guess what? I found other people's clothing items in my bag!! (If you are missing a bunch of socks, including multiple pair of identical black new balance running socks, don't fret, I plan on dropping them off tomorrow) Their turn around time is 2 days, compared to the same day service at my usual laundromat. This place has a chaotic feel. Parking is strange too with a weird lay out. All in all, I am not coming back to this place. The most compelling reason is finding another person's laundry with mine! I wonder if I am missing some items and just not aware of it! Where is my usual laundromat, you may ask? Message me and I'll tell you. Looking for a ghetto laundry in Scottsdale? Look no further. This place is tiny and unorganized. I was only trying to wash one comforter, but never made it inside due to all machines taken at noon and lots of chaos and Spanish words were involved also in this visit. Yes, the place looks a bit runned down. But washers work great as long as you don't over fill them (Of which I have a tendency to do but still washes them good) 31 min @ 1.50/ wash. And to my surprise the dryers actually work! At max I spend about .50-.75 on drying .... In total 2.00 a wash/dry with minimal time. I love coming here. Whenever attendants are here they are super nice and helpful. I wish they did have better parking but as long as it Doesn't take forever to do a load of laundry and I can leave quick I'm happy, of which this place is just that! read more

We passed through Scottsdale after week one of a two week road trip. Two kids and a good amount of laundry. A quick search led me to Ginny's. Dropped 12 lbs of clothes off at 8am Saturday and had everything back washed, dried and folded at 4pm. The laundry was done to absolute perfection. So happy with their service! read more

What a filthy dump this place has become! $5 per wash in triple loaders and they sound like they're about to break down! Oh...one of them is broke! Hey Ginny...spend a little of that change you're raking in on NEW machines!!! In town for a conference and decided to take the resort's "Adventure Desk" up on a baja off-road excursion in the desert. Awesome time but ended up nearly ruining my fave jeans, soccer jersey and North Face jacket; COVERED in dust...black jacket was nearly white with dust. So, I googled laundromat in Scottsdale and saw that Ginny's had a good rating. I didn't have time to wash the clothes on my own and wanted to ensure I found a competent cleaners that wouldn't shrink the jeans or jacket. Just returned to the hotel with my clothes and Ginny's did an awesome job; clothes are very clean and soft, and it's obvious they were handled with care. My business uses Ginny's Wash House for more than 10 years. They come pick up laundry and deliver at my store. Recently an incident happened. I forgot I had Cash in my uniform pocket. Ginny's Wash House washed my laundry and brought back to my office, putting a note in the laundry bag with all the Cash in it. I am so surprised and blessed to have the honest people working with me. They are always doing a good job. Highly recommended. read more

During the week, the staff is always super friendly & helpful. It's always very clean too. For a standard wash it will cost $1.25/load and $0.25 for 8min of dry time. There is also a place next door to grab a quick drink & chill at the bar while you wait for your laundry. I think that's an added bonus. read more

I've been using Ginny's for washing throw rugs and large blankets for several years. I don't like washing the rugs and larger items in my own washer so it's worth the few dollars at Ginny's. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the fellow customers keep to themselves and are never obnoxious. The building is older but who cares? I've only been in Ginny's once or twice when machines are down and have never gone there to find every machine taken. As far as laundromats go, Ginny's is a gem. read more

I've never heard of a five star laundry mat in my life. Every time I drive past this place it's nostalgia. When I lived down the road I'd always stop here after midnight and do my laundry. They have a change machine so you can make quarters, they have soap vending machines, they have fans set up in the summer, and the dryers were pretty awesome I'd pay $0.50-$0.75 to dry a load of clothes which isn't bad. Best time to wash is usually in the evenings on weekends because they do have their own laundry service business. read more

Fast, efficient & packaged to go! My only complaint, the listed price is $1.00 a pound, but when I dropped off my laundry I was charged $1.25 per pound. If your prices have changed, update your site so people know what to expect. Wow, really disappointing to have to be writing this, as the first 4 or 5 times I used this service were really great and such a time saver for me! I put a note in my laundry bag every time to remind them to dry (everything except towels and bedding) on low or no heat. Everything came back this time so dried out that it's parched to the touch, everything is faded, our Lululemon stuff is ruined (you know how expensive those are, and they're meant to last 4+ years when laundered properly) and 4 pairs of my fiancé's shorts are shrunken so small they could nearly fit our daughter. Pillow cases and sheets have barely any color left in them because they were clearly dried way too long on high heat. Their remedy of the situation was to offer us a voucher on our next services. I would never trust my clothing to them again. Clothing and bedding isn't cheap. Who dries any clothing on high heat? It destroys it. I am only trying to prevent this from happening to someone else. We now have over $600 of clothing damaged. Such a shame and was easily preventable. read more

Since my home dryer burned up this week, I visited Ginny's to dry several loads of towels. Although certainly not a fancy establishment, I was quite impressed this morning by the friendliness of both the attendant and the customers. I'm sure it was obvious that I was a "newbie" to laundromats (hadn't visited one since college, and I just turned 74!). The attendant immediately walked up and gave me instructions -- I didn't even have to ask -- and I had a lovely conversation with another customer while waiting for the cycles to complete. Handed in my laundry this past Tuesday For s Thursday pick up. Got my laundry and upon getting home I found out that a fitted sheet was missing. I went back to the laundry , employee said it was all packed ! I said it was not Then she said come tomorrow we will ask the manager to look at the cameras . Got back today and manager was away and he did not check the cameras. Now the employee tells me , I never brought it in, I said indeed I did this was the sheet the wrapped all the other laundry , that's how I carried it . I have been using Ginny's for my laundry service (towels) for my business for the last 4 years and they have never failed me. My business would not run as smoothly as it has without them. They are accommodating as well as dependable. I feel the price is reasonable considering they pick up, wash, and deliver. Nobody should work for free. Their business is their livelihood just as much as mine is for me. If I need towels last minute or in a rush, they make it happen. This place is clean and reasonably priced. I don't see any machines with signs saying out of order or any scummy moldy detergent dispensers, the floor is clean, there's lots of rolling carts and chairs to sit in.
