Gino & Joe's has a couple of locations but I like this one the best. Great pizza but their calzones are world class. Most of the time enough for two meals. Always look forward to that second day. My daughter order spaghetti, and the sauce was so acidic, she was not able to finish it. I ordered 10 mild wings, and they had NO flavor to them. We ordered from Gino and Joe's last week, the woman who answered the phone was rude, then after picking up our order and getting home, it was wrong. I called back and the guy who helped me was super nice, i drove back to the clay location to pick up the corrected order, and again the woman at the front counter was nasty and the guy was super nice! unprofessionally the woman then got on her phone and was having personal conversations at the front counter. decided to try again tonight- I called to order dinner and the first woman who answered was a bit unfriendly with a thick accent, then a different woman came on the phone and was completely rude and had a nasty attitude. It was a problem I asked for my order to be repeated back to me and she started to get very snippy so I said cancel my order and hung up. Food is good, but unfortunately their answering staff is rude with a nasty attitude. will not be going back to this location. read more

Went back to my old favorite slice place and everything changed. The counter woman was extremely unprofessional Looking to be kind. She was smoking outside the front door when I walked in. I saw the pizza cook doing everything without gloves on. The worst was I ordered a chicken parm sub, and a slice while I was waiting. The slice was ok but the sub took forever and it when it came you could tell it was an old cutlet that was reheated. Parts of it were rock hard and the roll was falling apart. Disgusting. I love the food here. It's so yummy. Although the wings are a tad bit dry and not really that good, the pizza was fantastic!!!! I order a garlic pizza with ricotta cheese and spinach. It is so goooooooooddssss. Yum yum yum. Anyways. I'd recommend this place for their pizza. I will say that the timing is not really right( as in the timing they give us for when the pizza will get ready) but I'd say that you could just wait maybe 10 more minutes and it should be ready. Lovely people there. Everyone's sweet. And food is great. I've never eaten inside of there but I would imagine it would also be fine, nice music, unlimited drinks frkm the fountain, and lovely staff. Wow just came here first time very disappointed they have no bread and multiple other items could not complete the order half the items on the menu. Why didn't we try this place sooner?! As a true "downstater" I am spoiled with the way pizza is made... This is it! Absolutely delicious! The pizza is cut normally and tastes fantastic! Delivery is convenient and quick!! The girl on the phone told us it may take a while on one of the busiest delivery days but they were at our door within 40 minutes!!! Every time we've gone in the staff have always been welcoming and courteous. Our new favorite go to has to be their grandma pie. You cannot go wrong!! Their wings are also very good! And they are actually covered in sauce. They don't taste rubbery either. We definitely will continue to order from them! Oh my goodness. I'm from California and I have never tasted such a good pizza in my life. The deep dish pepperoni, the sausage pizza and the tomato garlic thin crust.... I can't begin to describe the heavenly taste. I am beyond distraught that they don't have one in Sacramento. The crust is crispy on the outside and airy on the inside, the cheese and seasonings were sublime and the thinly sliced sausage blew me away. read more

I grow up around here and it was a staple when I lived on Old Liverpool Road. I moved away and it was dwindling, needless to say when I found out they had a new restaurant that I had to check it out. The pizza is still as good as I remember. From them the dripping grease, to flavorful crust, the amazingly tasty sauce, and tremendous toppings. It took an hour and a half for our pizza to arrive. When the driver arrived they could not break a $50 bill so we had to turn them away and not get our dinner after waiting for so long. That is ridiculous! I called the pizzeria and the woman on the other end of the phone was so condescending and rude telling me I should have notified them I would be paying with a $100 bill. When I try to clarify and tell her that it was not $100 bill she was incredibly disrespectful telling me "first of all" & "second of all". Ummm excuse me? I don't think so. Then she just shoved me off onto her manager who was very apologetic for everyones incompetence but they still lost a customer! They did not lose a customer because they were late in delivering our food. They did not lose a customer because they could not break our $50 bill. When I picked up the First Slice I thought awesome nice and flat foldable floppy crust. New york-style yumminess. Then I took a bite and realized this is quite the bland Pizza. Pizza. No lip smacking sweet sauciness to it, no gooey delicious cheese. Crust uninspiring. Overall the pizza is bland and kind of sucks. Such a shame too because they got the crust then thin-ness situation on point. Also they charged me like an extra $0.50 to process my credit card. Went to rt. 31 location . It was 8:30pm and the chairs were up on tables in 50% of restaurant. They are open until 9 pm so went in with my teenager and husband. They carries pepsi on fountain so I told my hubby I'd have water ( tap) Our neighbors teen was also along & said he'd have H2o. My husband paid and we sat to wait for food . ( $25 wing & pizza special) He noticed the receipt was 32.00 . It wasn't itemized so he went to ask about it and older woman said it was for 2 waters. We never took any water bottles. Beware, they probably pad the bills of many an unsuspecting consumer using credit card. Most people just glance at it and put it in wallet. Then we end up taking 2 waters since it was clear we weren't getting refunded. The wings & pizza arrive about 10 min. b4 close. They actually asked if it was to stay. Hah. Well one bite into wings and all we tasted and smelled was fish. Ick. We asked if it was possible it was put in wrong fryer. The lady wasn't very helpful and the 30-ish man who did cooking denied it went into wrong one. I left and my husband got partial refund and last several slices of pizza which were stale. Went there, i got 2 slices of cheese pizza, came with a free fountain drink, and ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap. My total was $17 and change!?! The pizza tasted worse than a cheap frozen pizza, my fountain drink was extremely flat, and the wrap was disgusting. I got ripped off.... What a nice little find! My family and I came to Clay for some shopping and wanted to grab some lunch. We settled on this place and we are so happy we did! The pizza is thin crust style and delicious! They have 2 slice deals that are very affordable. The sauce rocks and the staff is very friendly.
