Y'all.... I'm not going to hold you.! My sister put me on to this place and I am so obsessed ! It's delicious! My sister and I have been here in the past but at that time I wasn't writing reviews and being consistent like I try to be now. I kept it safe and only got the Chicken Alfredo but my brothers got the Spaghetti with Meat sauce and stated that it was Devine ! Then again we got this Appetizer of the Sausage and Peppers and omg let me tell you I am blown away by the quality of sausage and mind you I really don't eat sausage like that but these sausages were A1. I love going to Gino's. The atmosphere is so inviting and nice. There is a good variety of appetizers and Entrees to choose from. Appetizers are delicious!! The Entrees are so delicious and you get a lot of food for the price. The servers are so helpful , efficient and nice. At least once a month and some times more, they have live music from Marc and Kenny. They are AMAZING!! Marc plays flute, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, harmonica, and guitar and he does vocals of a variety of many genres of songs. Kenny plays drums and all kinds of percussion instruments and vocals. This makes for an enjoyable evening of dining and music. I highly recommend this place and they have a bar and sports on several tvs. Something for everybody. We had a pasta dish of some kind which was not memorable at all, we ordered a calzone which was delivered burnt and was sent back... sauce was way too salty to dip. There was plenty of staff present, visiting with each other, but we had to politely hail them down to get their attention. Even to get our water glasses filled ! This Gino's location offers delicious, fresh, and appealing dishes. Within the past three days, my family has enjoyed the Chicken Picatta, Gnocchi Sorrentina (with added meatballs), The Baron (calzone), and Gino's Special pizza. The plates are full. We always have leftovers to take home because the portions are so generous. They have an expansive wine and draft beer selection, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. The staff is very professional, friendly, and accommodating (thank you, Chris!). I love the relaxed atmosphere and music selection. It is a great complement to the food. You can actually enjoy dinner conversation with family or friends without having to shout over the music. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. Kudus to the chef for making his special homemade mushroom and Italian sausage soup which is Mr. Picky's favorite soup at any restaurant in town! It's just so yummy (yes, and rich). We both love it and, as it's a special order, sometimes phone ahead to see. We had Marcus last time, the owner's grandson, who was really a great waiter on the floor, and then today the strong trend continued with Joe who was awesome. It's only this location of the three that will occasionally make the special soup that's not on the menu. Try it. You can still have a fabulous meal regardless whether that soup is on the menu. If not, I start with the house salad with blue cheese and also request the bottle of house homemade vinaigrette be brought, because I pour that over the salad and mix it in with the blue cheese. I learned that trick from the owner of The Mustard Seed fine dining restaurant down below a long time ago (serious regrets that they're no longer around). Anyway, then I order the Eggplant Parmigiana with request for extra cheese on top so that when it comes out of the oven it's gooey and delicious. It comes with penne Alfredo on the side, but I always request that instead they serve it with Fettuccine Alfredo that has plenty of sauce and cheese because I like it that way--Mr. Picky usually ends up eating more than his fair share because he loves it. By that time, we are full and only eat a couple bites of the Parm (or Cheese Manicotti in his case) and then bag it for lunch tomorrow. That leaves us with just enough room for dessert :-). Now Mr. Picky loves (a large! serving of) Spumoni ice-cream, but only the green pistachio part of the mix, so the poor wait staff has to scoop all that green ice-cream into his dish, leaving the brown chocolate and pink cherry to get dumped into mine. Every dish we ordered was so good. The fried calamari, pizza n the blackened tiger shrimp linguine are especially outstanding. Even the minestrone soup n antipasto salad are homely tasting. Came here for dinner on my birthday weekend with my family while spending time in Lancaster. Place is huge, we got a semi private room since we were 15+ in our group. Didn't have to wait long after we called 20 minutes before. Server was great, older female that was on top of things from start to finish. Tried their Garlic Cheese Bread, simply amazing. Oh my goodness! This restaurant is an absolute pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is wonderful and inviting. The food was delicious and though we did have an issue with an entree, we were approached by the owners in which they addressed said issue and made us feel appreciated, important and right at home. They solved our problem and we ended up having a great conversation! The ambiance was romantic and the all the wait staff, especially our server Hope, were welcoming, professional, attentive and oh so kind. It's incredibly hard to find a restaurant that hits all the marks but this one sure did. We came here on Valentines Day 2025. RatPack Ricky sang a few crooners was phenomenal! We will absolutely be coming back again, especially if RatPack ricky is singing and Hope is working. Good food a nice glass of Chianti and nice people. A few things to consider though. I feel like I should have a nose bleed from the sanitizing. Very strong smell. The smell of the cleaning products is overpowering. I thought all the chemicals would've been put away a few years after the Covid thing but they are on it. Got to give credit for the cleaning, just not sure I can handle the smell. Man. I've cleaned my kitchen with bleach and ammonia and burned my lungs. This was pretty close. Sadly that streak came to an end on friday. I came in with my wife for lunch. Everything was ok. The waitress was a little short and not too friendly but nothing I would complain about, but getting close to the end of our lunch I heard our waitress yelling across the restaurant at some other customer for using the restroom. She then followed him into the restroom area and continued to berate him. Shorty after the manager showed up to resolve the incident and it seemed to be over. Ok, I have never been a soup lover, even though I grew up in house with my mom making homemade soups all the time. Well that changed today. My wife heard that Gino's makes an amazing mushroom and Italian sausage soup on occasion and tonight they actually had it. So going down hill. I have been in the valley for 45 years I have been eating at Gino's (and Baronies) for all those years. But in the last few years they have gone to cheep Ranch (my biggest peeve I can get hidden valley at home) then I ate in Palmdale a few months ago and the Philly was tasteless. Just last week I ate in the west Lancaster local (they closed east side) and I ordered the Deluxe Barron, it had minimal peppers and no olives and the dough was raw. I brought it to the attention of my server and she offered a 10% discount. I said for her to keep it. My husband even worked for Baronies in the 80's just sad there quality is really going south. I will probably not eat there again because I refuse to pay that kind of money for the low quality. I made the reservation for dinner, even asked for any special cake/ dessert for birthday which I was told they do provide whatever I need to. when I got there no one was there to welcome or to answer. After a while someone came and said tables are full with not empty table available , they did not even apologize and when I said I'll go somewhere else they even were not sorry...
