The idea of endless sushi for 15 bucks is a fantasy! However, the food took a very long time from start to finish. One person in our party had received all of their food before the rest of us did. I ordered the Ginza roll and the dynamite roll both supposed to be cooked sushi and fried. The rolls were ice cold. My husband ordered the double spicy roll and given the hour wait for three rolls... I really wonder if that raw sushi roll was contaminated. If you enjoy playing Russian roulette with your food...this might be the place for you. The bathrooms are dirty and have strange signs about "holding the toilet lever up" strange. We went there Thursday night 4-11-2024 for my daughters birthday. There was 7 of us and had the worse experience there. Service was horrendous. They weren't even busy. My family wanted to order more food but couldn't wait. We were there almost 2 hours. We had to tell our server that most of family left and to forget bringing out her birthday desert. Server never came back to refill our drinks, the orders were wrong. Ginza is my go to sushi restaurant in Southwest Florida! The sushi is delicious and fresh, at an affordable price, plus it's ENDLESS! You can leave here full without breaking the bank. Can't get much better than that! I've been coming much more frequently to try that new sushi roll that Brian and Kevin created - ITS SO GOOD! I think it's called the K or Kevin Roll or something. Make sure to ask for this roll when you go, you will keep coming just for this roll, believe me! Only other feedback I have is that Ginza gets very busy, but they don't take reservations which is really hard to conveniently navigate when you're hungry. The menu is a little limited (understandably so) and it isn't the best sushi I've ever had. However, it is an excellent value for $16 at lunch. Also, there doesn't seem to be any better sushi places in the Fort Myers area. Pro tip: - If you want pickled ginger and wasabi (horseradish), be sure to ask for it when you order. It's an AYCE sushi, where you order what you want from the server and they bring it out to you. They have various different types of rolls available, from dragon roll to tiger roll, to even baked rolls. ALL was soo good flavorful and fresh. They also have shrimp tempura, teriyaki chicken, and edamame cooked on the side you can order. We stopped by this weekend and it was packed which I also love to see. We were seated right away and the place is very clean which is very important to me. It's almost a warehouse feel which I'm not crazy about, but I wasn't here for a romantic date; I was coming for all you can eat..lol The menu is pretty extensive for lunch with many sushi options and hibachi. It's a la carte which means you order whatever you want ; when you want and it's made fresh. I'm paranoid with buffets because I'm afraid of getting sick so this place is perfect. You can't really go wrong coming here. I stopped in for lunch and was delighted by what I saw. It was nicely decorated in a large space right off of 41. They serve and all you can eat lunch menu for $14 where you can order anything you want off a certain menu. The menu was loaded with choices of appetizers, sushi, hibachi, and pretty much anything you would expect at a Japanese restaurant. I was actually surprised with how many choices you have of sushi rolls. When you are ready to order you just tell them what you want and they make it fresh for you. Nothing is sitting out in a warming tray with people sneezing over. I ordered a spring roll to start out and it was light and delicious. After that I started to try some sushi rolls. I just started picking ones that sounded good and ordered about two at a time. These were cooked up and served to me in under 10 minutes which is very impressive for a busy restaurant. I have been to other places like this where each order takes 45 minutes to come out almost like they didn't want you to order more. This was definitely not the case at Ginza. All of the rolls I got were presented in a nice manner and tasted great. I ended the meal with a little unneeded ice cream. I was full, but how can you turn down a scoop of green tea ice cream. We went Friday during lunch time, and there was a short wait, but the staff worked diligently to get us seated. Our server, Chris, was very energetic and funny, but most importantly, he was able to get our orders out extremely quickly! All of the sushi and appetizers are very fresh, and there are numerous selections on the menu. In total, we ate over ten sushi rolls, in addition to hand rolls, appetizers, and dessert. A lot of the specialty rolls contain large quantities of spicy tuna and imitation crab, so I would stray away from those items on the menu if you're not a big fan. Ginza opened about two weeks ago. Walked in just to try and inspect the place. What a pleasant surprise. It is wide open, airy, and very clean. A sit down cooked to order endless sushi and hibachi with regular dinner and lunch menu. As the server, Vince, explained, they have All You Can Eat sushi and hibachi lunch for $13.95 or you can order the a la carte menu. This is a no brainer. I choose AUCE just for sampling. To set my sushi mood, Vince bring a hot Sake to prepare my taste bud. Next, I have the spicy Kani salad, snow crab meat salad was just so refreshing and light that I almost want a second one. Hold your horse, this is a sampling run! After that come the Dragon Roll or tempura shrimp and Eel rolls. I can taste the shrimp heat or temperature and the warm rice. No question, it is freshly made! A few sips of hot Sake and Wasabi with soy sauce with a lightning fast chop stick, they magically disappeared from the plate! A Tuna or Maguro sushi roll fell to my chop sticks. Vince suggested I try the hibachi steak. Like a samurai, I responded, "Hai." Well, a carefully prepared hibachi steak with a tasty sauce just invite me to attack that plate in front of me. Scored another major victory point for my first journey in Ginza. The portion of Hibachi steak is little small but don't be shy to order several items at a time.
