Ordered delivery from this place multiple times and it was fine until the most recent one. Found a stick or maybe an insect in my food. I tried getting a refund from the delivery app but they said it I took too long to report it. Their food is good but maybe not so clean.

Hi Ginza, hello. I'm going to need you to open a location in Michigan. These prices were absolutely outstanding as was the customer service and food. We did the three rolls for 16.99 and the meal with a roll, soup and entree. Are you kidding?! These prices were incredible. Loved the salmon and avocado roll. Fresh fish and so refreshing. Food came out quickly and the staff were extremely nice.

Nothing fancy, but a nice little place. I prefer a rare to Medium Rare steak, this was not that; BUT the steak was perfectly cooked and was delicious and smash to chew. The Shrimp was cooked darn near perfect, and some of the vegetables had wonderful caramelization. Ri CD e was good as well as the White/Yum Yum sauce. Would recommend to others.

I called in an order for a salmon poke bowl. I asked for smoked salmon and they accommodated me. This was one of the best poke bowls I've ever had. The food was ready when I arrived and I was out the establishment with three minutes. I would go back! The sushi was also good.

Ginza is in a shopping center and not the trendiest area of town, but the food is delicious and affordable, and the service has been great. I've been here as a walk-in, with a call in order, and with an online order. All orders were correct, and the last two were ready when I arrived- quicker than I expected. I'm often nervous ordering online or modifying an item, but that wasn't an issue with Ginza. I love the tuna, salmon, and shrimp poke bowl and the shumai (shrimp dumplings). The poke bowl is a great value with three proteins for only $12, and they don't skimp on portions. I haven't been able to eat a whole poke bowl yet. The shumai are unique, bite-sized dumplings that are tempting on a car ride home. I hope to try the sushi soon, as the three roll combo is a deal at only $13.95. If you're looking for quality hibachi, poke, or sushi without the price and pretentiousness of fancy places, Ginza's an excellent choice.

Ginza is a hidden gem in West Ashley. It's located across from the Citadel Mall, which is why I believe it gets overlooked. However, you need to put it on your radar so you can get to experience their great sushi! We always order takeout and they do their own delivering so you don't have to pay any extra fees to third parties. I've never had to wait an absurd amount of time for delivery, even during busy times. The sushi is always fresh and carefully made. I highly recommend the GMC roll!!

Y'all. This is it. This is the hibachi I've been searching for. I'm am thanking the hibachi heavens for this place. I had delivery and got the hibachi chicken, shrimp and steak. My friend got the crunch roll, gmc, and the Kani roll. We got house soup to share. First off, the delivery was flawless. Super fast and well bagged with containers. The prices were all pretty decent too. The white sauce is what makes it. You can't truly have hibachi without it. The portion size is huge so you definitely get your bang for your buck. The rice was made well, the veggies are good and the meat isn't sketchy. I'm just so excited that I found this place. An amazing hibachi place with awesome white sauce, awesome sushi and delivery! If you like hibachi and have been looking for a spot, this is it. I'm never eating hibachi around here unless it's from Ginza

I love this new restaurant! I've been praying for good Asian restaurants to come to West Ashley and Ginza hits the spot! Staff is very attentive & friendly, even after my son accidentally spilled his whole cup of soda on. (Sorry) The food is great. Presentation is beautiful. Taste is on-point. I'll be back!

To start we ordered the trio: guac, queso, and salsa + chips and the quesadilla. The Trio was good, about what you'd expect for chips and salsa at most places. The quesadilla was quite good as well. I ordered the Lobster roll (forgot complete name) and the Tsunami roll. Both of my rolls were incredible. They were very nice, 10/10 rolls. The fish was fresh, and the flavors were on point. All of my friends also enjoyed the rolls they ordered. I also ordered the fish collar tacos, which is easily the best bang for your buck on the menu. The plate only costs $14 and it comes with 2 fat fish collars, not sure what species, forgot to ask, if I had to guess I would say grouper or cobia. These collars are beautiful fried and loaded with meat. Additionally the plate comes with some lettuce, cilantro, lime, pineapple pico, sauce, and 3 flour tortillas. If you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty to separate the meat from bone, you will get three very very filled fish tacos and have meat to spare. Needless to say, the fish collar tacos were delicious and very well priced. All in all, I had a good time; the service was phenomenal, drinks were constantly being refilled, and there's really nothing to complain about. Great experience!

Now, Charleston itself has a slight smell but it's very unappetizing to walk into sour/fishy smell. We decided to push through and try it because it was down pouring. The restroom is a single room, gender natural restroom. It was gross. The floors were sticky and slippery. Very limited seating across the room but we luckily we snagged a reservation. Our server was very friendly and went over some specials with us before taking our drink orders and inquired about allergies. We went family style and started with the crispy tuna rice, marinated cucumbers, dumplings and pork bao. We added on a few rolls and ended with the sesame lamb noodles and duck fried rice. The dumplings were unique with this crispy shell on top and had a creamier sauce. We did have to ask for soy sauce which is usually something we expect to get right away after ordering sushi. He gave us one dish of soy instead of all of our own which I thought was weird so we asked for more. I enjoyed the textures of the dumplings but I felt the sauce lacked a bit in flavor to complement the dumplings. Crispy rice looked appealing but we were all disappointed with the lack of flavor, especially in the tuna mixture alright the textures were on point. The sushi rolls were made well and you get about 5 bigger pieces. The best thing we had were the cucumbers! Simple and delicious, packed with flavor. The sesame lamb noodles were also prepared well, and had nice flavors overall that were unique. We spent about $200 per couple which I felt was quite steep for the amount of food we got, but overall I would say we enjoyed ourselves but a few things just fell short on flavors.

I appreciated how they filled their spicy tuna rolls with chunky pieces of fish instead of the usual ground tuna used in other sushi restaurants. Their offerings and methods of preparation, paired with their higher price point, suggests they are a higher end establishment. However, the atmosphere was undoubtedly on the casual side, and their service, although friendly and knowledgeable, exuded a lack of experience and the same attention to detail that they put into their food. This was especially apparent after coming from eating at other restaurants in a similar price bracket, where you can sense the waitstaff had a lot of pride and passion for their craft, and it didn't feel like it was just a job for them. In contrast, our experience at Shiki felt far more transactional, and lacked that "customer obsession" and genuine warmth. That said, it's difficult to judge a restaurant's culture just from a single night, and maybe other customers had a different experience from us. Ultimately, if good sushi is your priority and you are willing to splurge a bit, Shiki meets and even exceeds that bar.

The first course was seaweed salad with baby octopus, and I could have happily sipped that dressing like a cocktail. Light, bright, perfectly balanced, with tender octopus that added just the right bite. From there we decided to sample our way through the menu and ordered a lineup of rolls: Spicy Yellowtail, Spicy Shiromi, Rainbow, Spider, Lemon Salmon, and Eel. Each one seemed better than the last. The Spicy Shiromi was the clear standout--absolutely spectacular. What really sets Shiki apart is that every roll has its own distinct flavor instead of the one-note sameness you find at so many sushi spots. You can tell real care goes into the preparation. If you're searching for fresh, thoughtful, genuinely delicious sushi, don't overlook this little gem. Shiki is the real deal.
