We stopped by Giordano's during our trip to Chicago. We ordered the traditional thin-crust pizza, and overall, it was good. The toppings and flavor were enjoyable, but I found the crust to be a little thicker and breadier than I typically prefer. Service was good, and everything came out as expected. I'm glad we tried. The pizza was good, just not memorable enough for me to go out of my way to have it again. That said, if you're visiting Chicago it's worth experiencing for yourself.

Very busy inside with lots of tourists but it's a well-oiled machine. Trying authentic Chicago deep dish was a must for this trip and Giordano's was recommended by a local. I'm not a deep dish person but I do love trying new things. It is the most pie-like pizza pie I have had.

Best pizza in Chicago! We had the spinach and cheese and double pepperoni, deep dish. Amazing... Also bad the fried calamari I wish it would've just been calamari and not banana peppers and others, but it was good. Also had the triangle mozzarella. All very good.

This place was recommended by almost every person we told we were coming to Chicago. Our waiter Chris was a nice fella, super accommodating. We built 2 pizza. They have a lunch special til 3pm daily of a 6" personal with fries or salad or something. $10.99. My 12 year old got it. The two pizza we built were all over the place so I want try to explain. The atmosphere was very much like an All American style restaurant. Loud, lots of people chatting, TVs and a bar. Oh we got Mozzarella triangles. Tasty. Had to be real mozzarella. They were good. Garlic Parmesan fries were good. Initially was gonna go with mid but nah they hit. Fries came out quick. Well before the pizza. Our pizzas were all deep dish Chicago style joints. Food takes a long time to come. The pizza was good. I'd recommend this spot but today is day 1. Imma get Chicago pizza somewhere else and compare. The lunch special is premade and doesn't have the same quality. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are in a time crunch.

My friend and I got the special deep dish pizza to share and it fulfilled my expectations. Most everyone that has recommended me deep dish in Chicago prefer Lou's but I actually liked Gio's better. It was so filling, cheesy, thick, and soft. The crust was perfect. The portion was huge of course, but it was nice to have leftovers. Service was good.

Classic ambiance with flavorful food! One of the best deep dish pizzas I've had. Service was prompt and gave great recommendations.

Alicia was our server and she was great. We were warned that our wait would be 30-40 minutes so we ordered a salad as appetizer and it was very fresh. Pizza came out and was delicious

During our visit to Chicago we had to try the famous deep dish pizza . There were so many locations to choose from however, we walked from the Willis Tower this location. When we arrived the hostess stated there was going to be a long wait due to not placing a reservation. We placed a reservation while in the lobby and we only waited about 10 minutes tops. The restaurant was very busy and lively. We were seated and immediately took in the atmosphere. The chefs were preparing the pizza dough like in a movie. Our waiter definitely had a New Yorker accent although he stated he never been to New York before. Now onto the Pizza: We ordered the deep dish pizza along with wings and salad. The pizza took 20-30 minutes before it came out and boy it was worth the wait. That pizza was super cheesy and absolutely delicious. I would back to Chicago for this pizza alone. 10/10.

I'm in love. Absolutely incredible deep dish pizza and even better service. We were staying at a hotel just down the street and originally ordered the pizza for pickup. But the moment we walked into the restaurant, the smell alone made the decision for us so we had to eat it right then and there. The staff didn't miss a beat. They happily unpackaged our order, plated it, and made us feel completely welcome to dine in on the spot. The deep dish was everything you want it to be: rich, cheesy, perfectly baked, and worth every minute of the wait. As a bonus, since we stayed, we got to enjoy a couple of their specialty cocktails, which were fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. What started as a simple pickup turned into one of the highlights of our trip. If you're even remotely close, this place is a must

We got the calamari and the signature deep dish pizza (sausage and green peppers). The flavors were good but I thought the crust would be a crispy shell and a soft bread but it was just cardboard bread. It's a good pizza if you REALLY like mozzarella cheese, otherwise just get their regular pizza.

The deep dish pizza is tasty. The deep dish pizza takes 40 to 45 mins to cook, so keep that in mind when visiting. The service was sloppy and slow. Saw a number of people working, but only a few taking orders. Our server was borderline rude and never checked back on us after taking the order. The ambience is okay but the place has a chain restaurant kinda feel. Nothing unique or special. Overall good pizza, sloppy management. Try Uno or Lou Malnati instead.

I have been to this Giordanos a handful of times and the staff has been great every single time. From the moment I walk in the door and am directed to the proper party room to keeping everybody well stocked on soft drinks, water, salad, pizza, pasta, and dessert. The chopped salad was extra delicious this last visit. I must admit I did add a slice of feta cheese to it from the other salad option. This visit, too, I got to try their new tavern style pizza! The crunch was great, but the oven burnt part of the pizza to the point the crust was black. The views of the city from the windows are gorgeous. Giordano's pizza has more cheese than other pizzas that I have eaten. Despite the cheese being loaded up, the pizza has good flavor and is not overly salty. The pasta with the spicy sausage chunks was extra delicious this visit and I went back for more! The desserts are standard--brownies and chocolate chip cookies--and a nice treat after the savory entrees, but not something I would go out of my way for. Overall, I have had some fun here with friends!

Giordano's is a restaurant/bar that serves deep dish (and regular) pizza. Located in a convenient location near Chicago's Magnificent Mile, this tourist friendly location makes it ideal for large groups and sports fans. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food) Atmosphere - Giordano's has two floors and plenty of seating. The first floor has a dedicated sports bar with big screen TVs showing the game. There's various seating (booths and tables), but upstairs is even more seating. There are many tables and Giordano's easily accommodated our party of 20. 1 Star. Service - Our server was very nice and friendly, I only wish we had help. Our party split into two tables of 10, and it would have been nice to have some help, but he was a pro, was always smiling, and did a great job. 1 Star. Food - Heads up, I know Chicago is known for its Deep-Dish pizza, but no one in our party was a fan so we ordered the Tavern style crust and the thin crust. The tavern style crust was a hit. Our pizza toppings lay on a thin, cracker style crust. It had a great crunch and really let the toppings be the main star of the dish. Our second pizza was the thin crust, but sorry it was doughy and not very memorable. I think I should have ordered a deep-dish pizza instead. 1 Star. Will I Return? - No. Honestly, I wasn't that impressed with the food. Chicago is a great city for food, and I was expecting more. No Stars.

They played good music and wasn't too loud. You could easily carry on a conversation or , like me, continue listening to a podcast. By the time I finished, the place was completely full and a bit noisy, but not bad. I started out with a 10oz Birds of Prey Pilsner. It was very nice. Light and crisp and very easy to drink. I followed that up with Melodious Maibock and ordered the CBG burger with fries. I didn't have lunch so I dove right in and forgot to snap a photo. It was a very good smash burger. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. It paired so well with the burger. You get green bell pepper on the nose and a hint of it on the palate. When you swallow you get a little heat at the back of the throat. It was so good! Great bar. We visited on a Tuesday morning around 10:00am and were seated right away. The menu focuses on farm to table California style cuisine and it certainly delivered. I usually go for savory breakfasts but love a sweet treat mixed in here and there. We started with their apple coffee cake which was crumbly and gooey at the same time, with perfectly cooked apple chunks, a delicate, crumbled topping and a perfectly oil-glazed exterior. We each ordered their daily quiche, one vegetable based and one meat based. Truly my only complaint was this was more of a frittata than quiche given there was no flakey, buttery crust to support the eggs, however, the dish was still delicious. My red pepper and white cheese slice was hot, rich and bouncy with impeccable flavor and texture. The meat quiche was well received by my dining partner as well. And how can I forget the side salad? Probably amongst the most impressive I've tasted...shaved brussel sprouts, kale and cabbage make up the simple base with a caper vinaigrette that provides a umami hit to balance out the soft, rich egg bake. On top of it all, the woman who managed the cafe popped by our table a few times to ensure we were enjoying our meal. I would say a must try if you are in the area, and would make reservations on a weekend for sure.

We were so happy with everything! Our server was wonderful! The entire staff was so friendly and on top of their game! We never waited for anything. They were immediately refilling our waters, offering more bread, removing dirty plates, replacing silverware, and offering the next course. It was perfect! The views!!! I think there's not a table in NoMi that doesn't have an amazing view. The main, large window faces the lake (East). Arriving just at 7, you get the full affect of the city, and lake, and then the sunset and lights of the buildings. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't get enough of it. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and clean, but honestly it could have been a pit and I wouldn't have noticed. You'll be focused on the views for the entire evening. The food!!! Everything is very fresh. It's all well-prepared. Everything was delicious. There's a good variety of dishes to choose from. Plenty of healthy, low-carb options. We each ordered our own appetizers. I had the crispy Maitake mushrooms and my husband had the mussels. We both loved our food and left nothing on our plates. Excellent choices, that we highly recommend. As our main course we shared the sushi platter. The seafood was fresh and the sushi didn't have too much rice. It was the perfect amount of food with our appetizers. They have an extensive wine and drink menu. For drinks I had a glass of the Sauvignon blanc and my husband had a red blend. For dessert we weren't really hungry enough to eat anything else but my husband wanted a pallet cleanser. They have a few sorbets. My husband settled on the cherry cola sorbet. They brought it out with a little chocolate that said "Happy Anniversary" in French. They did not add it to our bill. Very sweet of them. It was probably one of the best anniversaries we've ever had. The bill was about $230 before tip. We highly recommend coming here for any special occasion.

We were able to choose between an alcoholic or non hot coco and load it up so many different toppings. It warmed us up and was decorated so beautiful! My husband then snagged a lobster roll which was so good. We are so excited we found this lounge and will be back!

Originally on a mission for a smoothie, I was greeted by a friendly staff member and a much larger menu than expected. There is a slew of inventive food that all looked amazing, ranging from sandwiches to noodles and sushi. I opted for the Maca Picchu smoothie, a mini cranberry muffin, and an empanada. I was blown away by how flavorful everything was! The smoothie was creamy, lightly sweet, and very refreshing. The mini muffin tasted like a firmer version of edible cookie dough and was a perfect sweet treat. The empanada was not crunchy, but it was flavorful and the vegan cashew cream was incredibly smooth. I was really impressed not only by the taste of the food, but the texture and presentation as well. There is a level of detail and care that is apparent and really exceptional. Consider me a fan- I'm already looking forward to not only the next visit, but to bring more plant-based meals into my kitchen as well!
