I stopped in one afternoon for lunch to pick up a slice of pizza and a side salad. There were a few people dining in, but there was no one in line, so I walked right up to the counter. The young lady at the counter wasn't the friendliest person I've ever encountered, but she wasn't rude or disrespectful either. She warmed up my pepperoni slice and told me there'd be a short wait for the salad. I waited 3-5 minutes for the salad, which apparently wasn't premade. The pizza slice is generous and was tasty. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it was decent. I had to dab it with a napkin before eating it though because it was greasy. I think I used at least five napkins while eating it because of the grease left on my fingers. The side salad was the perfect size. It was mostly lettuce, which I expected, but there were also red onions, asiago cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I had the balsamic vinaigrette dressing, which was light and refreshing. The restaurant is small, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. If you wanted to dine in or enjoy a working lunch there you could do it. The pizza, salad, and Pepsi cost about $15. The food was okay for a quick lunch, but I probably won't visit Rosati's again anytime soon. read more

I recently stopped by Rosati's Pizza bc I was told by a friend that I had to try it before I leave Chicago. I decided to try their thin crust, and I've got to say--it was ok . The crust was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of crunch in every bite without being too dry or brittle. It held up nicely under the generous layer of toppings and rich tomato sauce. But I felt there was nothing special about it. Unfortunately pizza is pizza but I was in search of a connection lol The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the pizza came out hot and ready. If you're a fan of pizza then I say give Rosati's a try who knows u might love it. But as far as for me it just wasn't it. read more

I love Chicago, and the pizza was delicious, me and my gf walked in just to wait for family for not even 2 minutes, the cashier lady yelled across the room at us (without being greeted when we walked in) I politely said " we are waiting for our family that are walking down to meet us here is that okay? and we are paying," and she said no and kicked us out, we showed up again 45 seconds later and she acted like nothing happened, attitude is shit and sorry your life is miserable :( Great pizza though. read more

Rosati's Pizza on Wells is fine. It's decent pizza and it's pretty cheap for a big slice. It's very dim inside but thats partially because it doesn't get a lot of natural light due to Wells having the El overtop it. It's never super crowded either so it can make a for quick lunch stop. read more

Customer service was sub par. Dude was half asleep on the phone and was rushing me off the phone. We placed an order for a medium tavern style pizza (thin crust). Pepperoni & Sausage... with some red pepper flakes and parm cheese on the side. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. Waited more than an hour for my pizza. Finally it arrived. It was lukewarm and missing my pepperoni. They also forgot to give the red chili flakes and parm cheese on the side. The pizza was not good. Rosati's is a reasonable deal. There are better deep dish pizza places, but if you want a convenient bite from somewhere that's open late, this is a good spot. Note to self; NEVER return. Here is what I got for $6.78 A very dry thick, spongy flavorless crappy slice of pizza that is not even close to Rosati's in Oak Park or River Grove. There is nothing worse than a crappy thick spongy doughy pizza slice that resembles pizza that would be delivered to your hotel room in Nebraska or Iowa. The picture I took actually makes it appear as though it's not that bad, but it is that bad. The sauce was crappy The slice was cold The cheese sucked The flavor sucked because the sauce sucked The parking sucks because it's in an area that is metered only and loaded with parking Nazi's. And to to top it off, they do NOT accept cash. They should have a sign outside that is LARGER than the Rosati's name outside that says; WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. But they don't. They have a small 8 1/2" x 11" sign that is on the door when you walk in. It looks like menu, so I'm confident I am not the only person who MISSED THE NO CASH that's in MAYBE a 14 point font! And why bother taking cash anyway, this is only the United States of America. Since they don't accept cash, they should offer customers a DISCOUNT because most businesses complain that when customers use credit or debit cards, it costs the merchant more money! Came in from out of town. This was the only place open at 2am. I ordered the sausage pizza and got sides of ranch with it. The crust was pretty thick and doughy. It kind of reminded me of frozen pizza. It wasnt particularly my favorite but I appreciated how nice and clean the inside was, the great service, and how late it's open. We were hoping to get some good pizza while in Chicago and we were so disappointed by Rosati's. First of all, we called and requested some plates and plasticware, but the driver showed up with no plates or plasticware and just said no one told her about that and got back in her car and drove away. This is why I usually tip in cash, but the tip was put on our credit card. Anyways, I had high hopes for the pizza and I was so disappointed. Ordered my pizza over 2 hours ago and it still hasn't arrived. just tried to call and check when it would be delivered and the girl who answered the phone was rude and i could hear laughing in the background. Extremely concerning considering i gave them my card information over the phone. I will be disputing the charge and potentially reporting them for fraud. extremely concerning. oh and did i mention i gave them a 15 dollar tip on a 30 dollar order? never again. I was so wholly underwhelmed by this place, it was just plain disappointing. I ordered delivery for a calzone and small pizza with black olives. I also ordered zeppole (doughnut puffs) but those weren't delivered which was so depressing because I was so excited for them, but since I didn't get them, I won't be able to speak about them. The calzone and pizza were subpar at best. Just okay. I am against food waste in general, but I didn't want to eat my leftovers because it was all so bland and not worth it. Mind you it was all edible and it wasn't horrible, it just wasn't exactly good either, especially considering this place isn't priced cheaply. I love a good flat bread pizza. I know being in Chicago, we're supposed to be deep dish fans but it's something about a flat bread crust done well that I cannot resist. I typically order the veggie pizza - prices per topping can get rather expensive. The medium is enough between my boyfriend and I for a couple of nights. The crust is done well, and the pizza sauce is very delicious. I haven't tried any other menu items at this time, but hope to do so soon. read more
