I ordered 1 deep dish cheese pizza & 1 large thin crust pizza with pepperoni & black olives on Mother's Day. I placed the order for curbside pickup for 6PM. When placing the order, they tell you to call the restaurant when you arrive so they bring your pizza out to you. When arriving, there were a ton of cars waiting for their order. Most folks just got out of their car & went inside....what's the point of curbside pickup then? When I tried calling the restaurant as instructed, they did not answer the phone. I went inside like everyone else after about 20 minutes of waiting & picked up my order. When I finally got home & opened the boxes, the large pizza had barely any black olives (extra $2.00) & my deep dish pizza had sausage, which I did not order nor eat! They also didn't provide me with any utensils or packages of red pepper/Parmesan cheese. Very disappointed & will not be coming back here again. For $50 pizza, I don't expect Little Caesars service. read more

By far the best stuffed pizza in Chicago. Better than Lou Malnati's, UNO's, or any of the other "famous" Chicago pizzerias you hear about. This location especially has the best staff. Food always comes out hot and delicious. Their calamari in my opinion is the best I've ever had. Giordano's is the only pizza that comes to mind when I think of Chicago style stuffed pizza. We ordered from them yesterday. The service was absolutely ridiculous. The delivery was supposed to arrive by 7:50pm. Once it reached 8:20pm, I finally called to ask about it. The hostess went to check and said the employee delivering it was already on his way and to give him 15 minutes...15 MORE minutes? The restaurant is about 15 minutes from where we ordered from. So he was either out joyriding or the hostess lied and he left when I called. He finally showed up a little before 8:40, almost an hour past the original delivery time. Also, my Dad works a night shift and has to leave at 9pm. He had to inhale his food because of when it arrived. Also, when the food did finally arrive, I went to the door to retrieve it. I had chosen "no contact delivery." I saw him walking back to the car and talking to someone else in his car...I'm not sure why another person was in the car. Finally, we opened up some of the food and none of the lids on the sauces from the appetizer were sealed. One completely spilled out and got all over the other food. Glad to know he delivered it with "care." SO ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED. What is the point of asking for contact information if you're not going to use it to let me know you're running late? Also, no apology from the hostess. (And I was very polite, when I apparently shouldn't have been.) She didn't even say bye on the phone, just hung up after I ACTUALLY THANKED HER (which I shouldn't have) AND SAID BYE. read more

Went here in May the night of my graduation after I graduated. I was impressed of the design and atmosphere inside the restaurant. The food was very good (and filling) and the service wasnt bad either. I'm not one to complain at all, but the waitress did forget our cheese sticks but, hey, we all make mistakes. I went to Giordano restaurant December 2014. I was not impressed. I ordered the Chicken Parm. It was good but there was not much of it. One small chicken breast with a roll and a handful of pasta. Forget the doggie bag. I ordered a pizza to take home for my husband but he didn't like it. Neither did I. The service was just OK. I would not go back. The total bill was nearly $40. Took my children for dinner Saturday night 1/14/17 @ 6:00pm and there was at least 30 to 40 minute wait. We were told to pre-order our pizza if we'd like. So we did. We ended up getting seated within about 10 minutes. And our waiter named Jason was such a great waiter to us. He made sure that we had all that we needed and he consistently filled our cups with pop, He brought us our pizza served us and he made it very pleasant for us. I definitely would go back because of this gentleman. I haven't had customer service like that in a long time. The pizza was good, A little thick on the cheese, but pretty good. Our sampler was not big enough for all four of us, but next time we will know what to order. I will definitely be going back soon. read more

My boyfriend and I came here and it wasn't crowded at all. There was a group of about 4 African American men waiting for a table when we walked in. The hostess didn't acknowledge us (African American by the way) when we first walked in. Okay no big deal because she's seating the men before us. A group of 7 People came in behind us and she immediately sat them. When she came back another couple came in and she went straight over to seat them. I had to confront her to tell her she didn't even acknowledge that we came in (she didn't welcome us in or ask if we could wait a second or ask how many people we had in our party) and she already sat 2 other groups before us who came in after we did. This girl didn't even apologize all she said is "oh i thought i said something to you". First of all, my boyfriend is 6'6 and is African American with gray coloring in his hair. We're in our late 20s. We definitely stand out so you'd know if you spoke to us or not. So I asked for the manager who apologized and offered to seat us right away (next to the hostess stand). Good thing the manager was sincere and apologetic but that still wasn't enough for me to ever come back here. And the hostess should not be in the hospitality/restaurant business. She needs to be fired honestly. We ended up not even dining in. We work hard for our money and the last thing I'm going to do is give it to a business that doesn't even acknowledge or value our presence. read more

We also ordered from the lunch special which is supposed to be fast but took a while to get our order. I dined in the on Tuesday with my husband for his birthday. I ordered ahead because I knew the stuffed pizza would take some time. We ordered Garlic fries for an appetizer and they were very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised when the pizza came out 3 minutes later piping hot and very cheesy. The pizza was excellent and our server Michele was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about several items on the menu and she even served the first slice of pizza and gave us a little history about the tomatoes used to make the pizza sauce, as well as the fresh vegetables chopped daily at the restaurant. Placed my online order yesterday afternoon at 2:55pm (order #238709) for a 6:30pm pick-up today. I received an email confirmation of my order (medium stuffed heart shaped pizza with spinach and mushrooms and a medium cheese for my kids) and paid in full online. Waited over an hour and a half only to be finally told that they could not find my web order on their system. I showed the two managers my order confirmation several times. It took forever for them to finally take my order number, name and phone number to cancel my order. Of course, I get the confirmation email right away that my order was cancelled! What a joke!!! Ok, we ordered the chopped salad ( not good as Portillos) and had a Sausage, Onion, Green Pepper and Onion pizza. I have not been there in awhile. First off, the food here is outstanding but the service is honestly terrible. We get there waited 15 minuets to be sat for a table if three. Then sitting there waiting. After waiting 20 minuets for our waitress, the hostess was clocking out and told her we been waiting for 20 min. We watched three big tables, get served. When the waitress came to our table CLEARLY BOTHERED that she has to help us. Our drinks took 10 minuets after practically half the restaurant was already gone including one of the two tables sat. Never checked on us, never gave us anything (silverware, napkins..nothing) and then had the AUDACITY to ask if "we needed our $.18. with the cunty service we got she should owe us money. Let me first say, I'm not from Chicago so I know that I am not used to this type of pizza. The customer service was good. The pizza was hot so that was a plus but the cheese on the thin crust pizza was way to thick, and the ingredients were not cooked they were still raw. The deep dish pizza was actually better than the thin crust and I didn't think I would like it. Basically the deep dish had a lot of tomato sauce on top which is what I love, and the ingredients were in between the bread and the tomato sauce. This is the type of restaurant that you'll have to try for yourself to see if you like it. read more

Amazing! Best pizza around. The wait is usually a bit long and it's on the pricier side, but it's completely worth it in my opinion.
