    Doughy, underbaked crust.
    Stromi S.

Ordered and was told it would be 40 minute wait for deep dish. Twice the server, who was very nice, said it would be another 10 minutes. 1 hour and 10 minutes later and we were presented with an underbaked deep dish pizza. Only the very bottom was browned, the inside was doughy and gummy. Management never stepped up. Traveled to Chicago and sought out Chicago style pizza only to be disappointed in Giordano's. Again, the server was nice, but the kitchen was poorly run with vail promises. Would not come back.

The food here is great. The Deep Dish pizza is amazing. They have the best salads. I will definitely come here again. The pizza was super cheesy and the crust was buttery and flaky.

My family and I are regular customers of Giordano's. When our stuffed pie was served we immediately noticed the hard crust. The server called the manager. When he walked up he just stared and I said you can see the pizza. The manager said he has to cook the pizza otherwise it would be raw. This has nothing to do with the nearly burnt crust & split crust!! I informed him we never received a pizza in this condition and he said sometimes it happens and continued to debate. He never offered to make a new one or any other resolution. All four TVs had baseball playing & when asked if he could change the TV near us he said he doesn't know about that. Extremely rude & unprofessional. Our dirty dishes were also left piled on the table. The customer service experience was very poor!!

    Great pizza and salad

Awesome pizza and salads . Pizza always cooked as asked for ! Usually pick up , but have been in restaurant also . Always friendly and courteous staff. I live in middle of Plainfield & minooka, so Usually split between both. But now with minooka branch closed , makes for an easy choice ! Appetizers have also been decent. Have had cheese triangles and calamari, both were very good. Only complaint would be exiting south to rt.59 is No fun. But I will deal with that for a well cooked pie . Both thin and deep are always solid . Flip a coin each week to see which I prefer on Fridays !!

As expected, excellent pizza, second to none! Tasha gave us wonderful service - it was totally worth the trip! We're taking a lot of frozen pizza back to Michigan!

We got a piece of tiramisu for dessert which also was very good. It was pretty busy there and the service was pretty good sorry about the pictures. We started with the fried calamari app and it was really good. Fried perfectly, but it did need a hit of salt. Served with cocktail sauce (marinara would be nice too). Love that they also include the tentacles I along with rings. Entrees: wife ordered the Linguini Del Mare. Seafood was properly cooked and flavor was great. She really enjoyed it. I ordered the Pork Chop Milanese and is was really good. One thing that stands out here is that the portions are huge! Appetizers and Entrees and the house salad that they serve. We were only able to eat about half of our meals after the huge appetizer and salad and ended up taking the leftovers home with us. Service was great as well. We will certainly come back here again if we're in the area and in the mood for Italian food. We recommend La Dolce Vita Per Tutti.

Walked in with starving teenage boys on a Sunday after noon. The place was packed. Ordered a Margarita pizza with 6 slices for an app. We have high expectations of this one and we were all so busy eating it and looking up. Wondering is this really this amazing. Hell yes, it was. The sauce, the crust. The amount of sauce. Etc. all hit it just right. Second app was a plate of fresh cut fries. Once again this place does not cut corners. Perfectly fried with a crunch and sea salt on top. That was a busy plate getting gobbled up before our entrees showed up. For my entree, I got the mushroom parpadelle with shrimp. I had no clue until I started to eat it that it was homemade pasta. In my head I kept thinking there is no way this is not made in house. I asked the waiter and yes indeed he said they are making pasta all day long. With the amount of people in this restaurant. I can only imagine how busy that kitchen is creating this soft and fresh beautiful pasta. If you have ever made pasta. You know how much time and work it is. Sorry, back to my dish: the shrimp we cooked to a perfection. Quality high, the mushrooms were fresh and I could not wait to find more. If you want Italian. Skip the chains. You will not get this quality and love like this place.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

So I thought we were all set. Our reservation was for 6:00, and we arrived at 5:54. We were told to wait until six, which was perfectly fine. Six o'clock rolls around and we're told they're still cleaning the table. Okay, we wait. Then we wait. And wait. Thirty minutes later, we find out the people who had the table STILL hadn't even left. Baby...what exactly were we reserving three weeks ago, a future dream? They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. They made us feel welcome and somehow kept the whole table laughing after that rocky start. The food had some hits and misses. The crab cake was a little too spicy for my taste, although the rest of the table enjoyed it. The mini sliders, however? DELICIOUS. That buttery, well seasoned bun was doing exactly what it needed to do. Then came my Entourage burger, and baby...THAT burger understood the assignment. It was absolutely packed with flavor. So good that I practically inhaled it. My server even asked if I wanted another one because apparently I ate it fast enough to qualify for a second round. Unfortunately, the management situation left a lot to be desired. After the issues getting our table, the managers seemed to keep watching our group throughout the night. If you're going to stare, baby, at least commit to the performance! It made an already awkward situation feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, my server Alexis B, was the ONLY reason this experience ended on a positive note. They were so charming and personable that by the end, they felt more like a friend than a server. I'm genuinely going to miss them. The food was good, and that burger was fantastic, but a three-week reservation should not turn into a 40 minute wait with a party of eight standing around wondering when they're going to eat. So unfortunately, I'm leaving with two stars. The food gave me reasons to come back, but the reservation experience and management gave me reasons to stay home. And to my server: you were the star of the night. Protect this person at all costs.
