Let me start by saying I love Giordanos. I have eaten at various locations throughout the city and the suburbs and in general, the food and service is solid. This location, though. I have been here three times and each time, there was an issue with both the meal and the service. The staff is generally dismissive of issues, is slow to bring food, and for a family place, for some reason always feels compelled to play MMA on the big screen (despite the overwhelming number of children). There are just too many good pizza places in the area to come here and deal with slow service, dismissive management and an unfriendly environment for families. Try the other location or hit up Lou's if you're interested in a peaceful meal where you aren't belittled for voicing concerns. read more

Really disappointed !!!!!!! I hate delivery but because of Covid 19 I tried contactless delivery at Cermak location . I always go to the one in city Chicago north side . But I tried the one here on Cermak and Mannheim and was so disappointed my Parmesan fries were so hard barely Parmesan at bottom of half empty bag and my pizza barely had any sausage the only thing they got right was the crispy was and pie cut . I placed an order online and used a coupon. When checking out, it removed the coupon and went back to original price. Then I had asked for giardianere on the side and was told at pickup it was in the box. There was none. When we saw it wasn't there, we called them and were told that we did not pay for it, so it was not included. I would have paid. I asked why they said it was included when it was not and was put on hold. The deep dish crust was overcooked and overall a bad experience. Perhaps that is one location they should have closed. I am a big fan of Giordanos food, but in this location the food is bad.I went there to dine in a while ago, I had the BBQ Chicken pizza and the chicken was undercooked. I haven't been back obviously since then.Today I was craving Giordanos and I decided to give them a second chance. I placed a delivery order and the food was horrible again.I ordered a Cesar salad , mozzarella triangles and alfredo pasta thinking that nothing can go wrong. First of all, the container with the salad was in between the pasta and the mozzarella triangles; as a result, my salad was warm and the lettuce was saggy. Second, my alfredo pasta was overcooked, the pasta was over boiled and it was absolutely disgusting how soft and melty it was. I called and I complained about it.They sent me another pasta and it was the same over boiled pasta. I absolutely LOVE their stuffed pizza, along with their cheesy garlic bread, the mozzarella triangles, and even their hot wings. Most of the time when I eat there, I get it to go, but the last time I ate inside their spaghetti was HORRIBLE. Worst spaghetti I've ever tasted. My family even tried it and said it tasted nasty. If I could give them zero stars I would. So a few months back I ordered delivery, half veggie half cheese, when my pizza came back I noticed PEPPERONI in the middle. I called and they said the chefs use pepperoni as a marker for the halves routinely (how has nobody sued them over this?), they sent me my replacement pizza, no compensation, nothing, sorry we wasted two hours of your day. If I could I would of left 0 stars. I come to Giordano's to catch lunch with some friends and our Waiter Daniel was rude from the start. We ordered a pepperoni deep dish and we ended up getting onion mushroom and green peppers definitely not what we ordered. We then tell Daniel and very rudely he said thats what we ordered. He offered to give us personal deep dish since it would take less time. He then comes with only 2 when there was 3 of us. Overall a horrible experience. I'm not sure if it was a race problem but he didn't treat other customers like he treated us. I don't bad review food the bad review is for Daniel such horrible customer service. I don't know why people are always waiting at the Oak Brook Terrace location. This Giordano's is less than 10 minutes East and was EMPTY on a Saturday night. We didn't have to wait for a table OR service. I don't need any more information than that. Sold. If you live in or have ever visited Chicago, you know Giordano's. Whether eating the thin crust or the deep dish, the pizza always satisfies my pizza tooth. This location has the same quality and great taste as all the others without the crazy waits. I booked this location for a baptism lunch and was very disappointed. We had a party of 50 people they only had one server to assist us was also serving the rest of the restaurants on a busy Sunday for a Bears football game. It was a terrible experience I do not recommend them for any kind of party. The food is good but Giordanos pizza is the same no matter which location you go to. read more

havent been to giordanos for a while, remembering it wasnt that great to begin with, family member ordered pizza for me to pick up on my way home. Well I was shocked a large 2 topping pizza was $35.00??? You have got to be kidding? These pizza places are getting out of hand. I talked to a guy walking out with his family, between drinks , appetizer and pizza he was over a $100.00 with tax and tip! SERIOUSLY? For a family just to go out and have pizza. Im done , Rockys across the street has a great pie and for still around $20 . they rape you on the toppings which is unacceptable. While in Chicago, I had to check out their deep dish pizza and I heard Giordano's is the place to be. We ordered the Special Deep Dish Pizza (sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onions) with an addition of pineapple because I LOVE PINEAPPLE :D! We also added the Caesar Salad. The pizza was pretty good, and I get why everyone loved their deep dish pizza since it was stuffed so much. I'm more of a thin crust pizza kinda gal though. But, the cheese on their pizza was awesome and you can see the quality as you take a slice out and the pizza stretches! Nothing special about the salad though. read more

I always enjoy Giordanos Pizza. This was not my first visit to the Westchester location. This time around my my experience did not meet expectations. While the pizza was great (tried the new chicken sausage, spinach one) our server wasn't exactly the best. He seemed upset when I asked if one of the many TV's could be changed to my sport team. To taking our orders and talking to a busboy at the same time. (our busboy was phenomenal by the way, got us refills and wrapped our pizza without having to be called) We just never felt comfortable in fact we felt rushed. Restaurant was. 1/4 full and he may have been the only waiter, but I still think you should be on your game or delegate with your assistants. Not a great birthday celebration. read more

Service was super slow. Over 1.5 hours to get a pizza. We seen them serve it to another table and then they lied to cover it up.

My friend and I went here for lunch, and ordered a large cheese pizza with half pepperoni. He then repeated it back, "large thin crust, half pepperoni". When the pizza arrived, it was half pineapple. When I told the waiter that we ordered pepperoni, he said "No you didn't, you said pineapple"... and he insisted that he even repeated back "half pineapple"... both of which are untrue because my friend even heard me AND him both say pepperoni. Believe me, there is no WAY I would have said pineapple. (And IF for some obscure reason I did, my friend would have heard that and corrected me right away!) Anyway, he did put in another order for the correct pizza, but it made me feel uncomfortable, because he made me feel like it was MY fault, and didn't even offer an apology or entertain the thought that he COULD HAVE heard me wrong (which he did). The other pizza options on the menu are good, but anything not pizza is pretty lacking (one exception is the appetizer sampler platter which is a nice array of fried goodies). I have been a customer of Giordano's my whole life. I grew up on the 63rd street restaurant. I now live in Western Springs and have been coming to this establishment for 5 years. I ordered food for pick up on Super Bowl Sunday. I do know that this is busy day and I had no issue with the time or wait. However, I do expect my food to always be good. We ordered carryout & I picked up the food and brought it home. We were hosting a Super Bowl party. I was completely embarrassed. The pizza was the worst pizza I have ever had. Definitely not Giordano's quality. The pizza was not even thoroughly cooked. The vegetables were all raw in the center and the dough in the center was raw. My salad did not have any dressing with it and the giardiniera was not put in our bag, which we paid for. I then had to scramble to find food to feed all of the people at my house. I do know this is a few weeks after the fact. I just wanted to make you aware. The quality of Giordano's should never have to suffer due to timing or special events. Your loyal customers will wait. The semi service my family received was unprofessional. The server's name is Daniel who I later learned is also a manager. Had an attitude and was not professional. We eventually walked out once the serve finally approached our table after waiting 15 plus minutes. We placed and order once we discussed his horrible attitude we canceled the order and walked out. Not even close to the quality of the city locations or even the oak brook location. In this area, Ledo's from LaGrange blows it away on original crust pizza. I am from Indianapolis and I have never pizza like this. Best pizza and garlic fries I have ever had. This is a must when visiting Chicago.

Plan on getting a little food for alot of money .Ordered chicken parmesan that was supposed to feed 5 according to the person who took our order .It only had 2 pieces of chicken and not that much spaghetti. It barely fed 2 adults and 2 kids all average size peo ple. The sauce had no flavor . I have always gotten pizza and that's decent. I wouldn't recommend anything else though. read more
