What a great place to enjoy a nice dinner. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine. It us very evident that they themselves dine here frequently. Their personal appearance is professional and meticulous. They were attentive without hovering and we enjoyed every minute of their service. There were very nice choices for the specials everyone in our party ordered something different and everyone loved what they got. The food seriously was beyond excellent. The vibe is a little dressy so leave your hats and caps in your car. 5 HUGE solid Stars I hope to visit again soon . - I'm yalls biggest fan in WA state.

I know there are a lot of Italian restaurants in Myrtle Beach and we are excited about our newest find of one!! Cuisine is absolutely authentically Italian- so delicious and reminded me of my Italian grandparents' cooking! We ordered the Gios meatballs for an appetizer (omg divine) and split the Caesar salad. My husband ordered the Sorrento dish with chicken as a Napoleon stack of crispy eggplant, prosciutto and mozzarella and I ordered the eggplant Parmesan, which was delicious!! I wish I caught the name of our server. She was so attentive and friendly and sweet!! Loved the cocktails too- definitely will go back!

Wow! A gem in Myrtle beach! The ambiance was nice and the service was great ! I would suggest making reservations ahead of time because they were pretty busy. We were in town celebrating my brother's birthday and this was a perfect choice . The food was pipping hot. We started with the mussels in the spicy sauce the sauce was amazing! I could only imagine it over pasta. The lobster ravioli was great I added shrimp. All the dishes were reasonably priced and they had a fish of the day choice which was red snapper. All the items on the menu sounded great and looked great as they passed by! They had a nice wine list as well and great cocktail choices. Highly recommend!

Our party of 8 was easily accommodated. Large private parking lot. We ordered drinks, apps and entrees. We tried a little of it all, even having vegetarians dining with us. We loved our waitress. I had a special accommodation and the chef easily handled it. He even added an extra nice touch, which was very appreciated. We loved the Italian language music playing. Pretty decor. No notes!

We can hear based on a recommendation of a friend. The food was so delicious and flavorful. My favorite was the spaghetti because you could taste the flavors in every single bite. Some of the best Italian food I have ever had. My only complaint would be that the service was a bit slow but that wouldn't stop me from coming back in the future, bc everyone is short staffed these days. It is an upscale restaurant and they have a reputation to maintain so it's very reasonable they ask for business casual dress. Everyone usually brings one nice outfit to the beach anyway!

My "salad" before the meal. So cute right?

Service and food are always great. Consistency is the name of the game. MB has many Italian options, but Gio's is one of my top picks

Yes last time I visited. The food was amazing. The service 5 star. and ambiance was awesome. It's…read morethe best Italian restaurant in myrtlebeach.

Hi Everyone, If you…read morelive to eat as many my of my Italian friends do, Villa Romano's succulent fare, will put that curl in your hair. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. I even laid 7-5 odds that her false eyelashes would become a moustache, and won, while we all did exactly that to satisfy my beautatious date's Cousins' from Reno, fish wish, in Myrtle Beach. We stood in the lines outside, in the evening heat, at three different restaurants that we tried. Please remember to bring water, you'll feel better while you wait, wait, wait again, and then really wait, as if Mosses is going to appear from on high with the Ten Commandments. Instead it's, "Your table is ready" as you try to wake Grandma from her heat induced coma. While Villa Romano's bait, is to actually take your reservation and instead, have you relax on your tushy while having a cocktail in their comfortably A/C filled delightful ambience while you relive your day's perspective with friends and Family ("No, you missed it. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! That is Villa Romana Restaurant, and we all were so gleeful and happy we discovered that fact in our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Manga... Enjoy!
