    Gross Chicken roll

Chicken roll from hell. Takes effort to make it this bad. Overpriced as well. .............................

    Chicken Parmigiana and salad

We came here to grab a quick bite. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, the flavor of the sauce was good. I've had better. The ambiance and aesthetics at the bar was beautiful. Once you go into the dinning area, the aesthetic looked like a fast food restaurant or a chain restaurant. The service was fast which I really enjoyed.

I must say I was surprised by the low ratings. This was a pleasant surprise as our first choice nearby was not yet open. Alexandra was fantastic! One of our guests wasn't familiar with fettuccine, Alexandra went to the kitchen to bring out a cooked noodle. Gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu. Although not a native Spanish speaker, she spoke in Spanish to the same guest. Someone else ordered a cocktail she wasn't familiar with, she took her own spin and made a delicious concoction. The food was extremely well done, everyone in our group of five diners enjoyed their meals. We all shared as the portions were huge. Several took home leftovers, which by the way, Alexandra packed for each person. We had a great celebration, it wasn't loud and we basically had the dining room to ourselves. Late 3 pm lunch on a Monday. We weren't rushed and enjoyed a leisurely meal partaking of each other's company as cozy as if we were in one of our own homes. I hope other diners aren't put off by some of low ratings because our experience was excellent. If ever I'm in the area again, I'll definitely return. I also found their prices reasonable for the quality and portion size. At the end of the meal we realized we didn't photograph our dishes. Photos are of some of our leftovers, Risotto Samira and gluten-free Baked Ziti.

    Chicken Francese

First time ordering from this restaurant and I enjoyed it! My boyfriend who has ate from this restaurant raves about their food. Very rare to find good pizza in the Bronx. We decided to go with pasta and chicken for our delivery. I ordered a dish I never had tried the Chicken Francese...it was delicious! The pasta was cooked and seasoned so well and the chicken was fluffy and very juicy! My boyfriend chose to get chicken parmesan and asked to get penne pasta and instead got spaghetti. Unfortunately he didn't like the pasta and only ate the chicken :/ also I love when Italian bread is given but sadly ours was partially drenched in oil and wasn't edible anymore. I would still like to order pizza from here one day though.

Nice atmosphere to relax and chat with friends

This was basically the only thing in this neighborhood where you can sit comfortably and socialize with a friend. The food is okay. My friend and I ordered chicken pesto farfalle some broccoli rabe. They had a full bar so I ordered a Riesling and it was pretty good! The service was decent and laid back.

Cannot take a photo I ate both from so quick

This is the best pizza in the Bronx. Excellent quality I always buy two they are the best.

I have been to Giovanni's for many years and the food always tastes wonderful. The Veal & The Pizza is mouth-watering. My late brother used to get the meatballs delivered all the time which is a testament to how good the food is. With my family at Giovanni's wonderfully tasty Italian food around the block, they have a bar with great Latin Jazz Bands. My late friend Steve Pouchie used to jam there. One of Sister Cookie's little girls wants to be a caterer and the other one wants to go into the restaurant business.

Period…read more If you want to know what real New York City pizza is supposed to taste like, stop looking and get to Louie & Ernie's on Crosby Ave. This isn't just a meal; it's a Bronx institution. The Vibe: Old School & Authentic This place is as "old school" as it gets. It's located in the basement of a house, and walking in feels like stepping back into 1959. There are no fancy decorations or "artisanal" gimmicks--just the smell of fresh dough and a gas oven that's probably seen more history than most museums. * Pro Tip: It is CASH ONLY. Don't be that person who gets to the counter with a card; come prepared. The Pizza: The Best in the Bronx I've had a lot of pizza, but this is easily the best in the borough. * The Crust: Paper-thin, perfectly salty, and has that signature "Bronx fold" with just the right amount of char on the bottom. * The Sausage: This is their claim to fame. They use huge, fresh chunks of sausage that are packed with flavor. It's heavy, it's greasy in the best way possible, and it's legendary. * The Sauce/Cheese: The ratio is perfection. The sauce is tangy and bright, and the mozzarella is creamy and never "rubbery." The Service The staff here are exactly what you want in a legendary neighborhood spot--friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. They keep the line moving, but they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. Verdict: 10/10. It's simple, it's classic, and it's the king of the Bronx. If you haven't been, you're doing NYC wrong.

I enjoy the Chicken Parm, Meatballs, Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks & deserts! I definitely have a thing for their Vodka sauce too How's the food? The meatballs are so good.. Tender.. They fall apart which I like. Not big on huge, dense meatballs anyway.. These things taste amazing! You gotta try them.. The Chicken Parm with spaghetti in Vodka Sauce is one of my favorites dishes The chicken is nice and tender, sauce has a great flavor, cheese is nice and melted, pasta perfectly cooked and it's a pretty big portion! The Mozzarella Sticks are like no other! I'm telling you! They make them fresh on-site.. Not store bought frozen sticks where the cheese pops out the casing.. These things are the real deal.. The cheese is stringy, well melted.. And they're pretty big.. They don't skimp.. Good for like 2-3 people.. I can only eat one myself.. The Pizzas are pretty good too! I really enjoy the entry dishes but if I'm with a group, I'll get a pizza to share. They're pretty small anyway. My favorite dessert is the Conollis! They have a nice airy, light casing.. The ricotta filling is so flavorful and fluffy.. So on point The service staff is always welcoming, accommodating and super cool. Really good crew. The place itself is so chill. Layback atmosphere, some really cool music plays in the background, classic Hip Hop, Funk/Soul breaks and more.. historical art decor fills the walls and vibes are always right in the spot. Might even have some games on the TVs.. great spot altogether.. You can see the Pizza cook in their fire oven.. Pretty cool I think. So if you're looking for a really cool spot to munch at in the Bronx Kingsbridge Neighborhood, you should definitely check out Kingsbridge Social Club. It's a vibe! Have a good one yall! -Ray

It turned out to be one of the best recommendations we've received. My mom, my daughter, and I absolutely loved our experience. The food was outstanding, the wine was excellent, and every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but the staff welcomed us with a smile and never made us feel rushed. Instead, they took the time to recommend some of their favorite dishes, and every suggestion was delicious. What made the evening even more special was how kind and attentive they were to my daughter. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel truly welcome. If you're visiting Arthur Avenue and looking for authentic Italian cuisine with outstanding service, Zero Otto Nove is a restaurant I highly recommend.
