When it came to a friend's house party in the Bronx (#1), we were spread a tad thin. Minus some nacho dip and enough booze to start a liquor store, there was no food in sight. Enter in local pizzeria Tiny's, who after a quick phone call, delivered a slew of pies to save the night. Despite the slightly misleading name, Tiny's delivered for us in a big way. These large, gourmet style pizzas were around 12 slices each, putting them in a pseudo monster pizza like status. Each slice was a tasty, consisting of a lovely sesame thin crust, along with a zesty sauce to booty. Tangy yet savory, this was the kind of pizza many local New Yorkers would approve of while folding each slice through a flimsy half. The warm slices of the plain pie was the perfect treat to a long night only an alcoholic would appreciate. Next up was the meat lovers pie, which for all accounts and purposes, was so hearty that it would only a little more than one slice to fill up. A swig of something fierce, along with a bite of Tiny's was the common practice for the rest of the night. Hours later when the hangover headaches began and visions of being mugged in the city's most sketchy borough, non-Bronx guests started munching away for part II of the pizza binge. For some folks, the true mark of a quality pizza is how it tastes when it's at room temperature or cold. These babies passed the test and made for even better cold pizza, or as we say amongst the stoner crowd, "breakfast." In the end, I think Tiny's is a quality local pizza joint. There are lots of stalemate pizzas throughout the boroughs that operate primarily as a take out joint, which are all consistently mediocre. I have been a client of Tiny's for years, and they keep evolving with their food and employees. I think their pizza is ok since their crust has sesame seeds on it which is not a good combo. I usually tell them to make the pizza without the seeds. It makes a huge difference. However, I do love their ravioli. It's full of cheese! I usually order my food over the phone since it's much quicker. Sometimes they have people who do their job right and others who don't. Went for a ride w/ a friend to drop something off and decided to try a slice. We shared a plain pizza and wish I had not. This place had one of the best pizza's I have tasted. This place is Def on my top 5!!! I love were pizza so for me to say this goes on my top 5 it has to be yummy. Tiny's is a cozy little pizza place with a friendly staff. I had been meaning to try this place out since a good friend lives less than half a block away. Finally I stopped by and picked up a slice that I shared with a friend since we were on our way to dinner and didn't want to spoil our appetite. Well let me tell you I wish I had gotten two slices for myself since this pizza was delicious. I loved the perfect ratio of cheese and sauce, the crust was thin and crispy with sesame seeds. It is really hard to put a star quantity on Tiny's. The food is good, the service was super friendly. The overall vibe is enjoyable, a little neighborhood dive with Italian options. Everything about it would typically be a four star from me. If talking about "New York Pizza" there wasn't anything special. As a tourist I was excited to see what makes NY pizza stand out. I am not a huge pizza fan, but if I am eating pizza, NY style is my preference. Tiny's is good and I would welcome them here in the Midwest, but it wasn't special or something amazing compared to what NY style options we have in KC. That was the overall experience with pizza in NYC. Tiny's is a great place with good pizza and even better Italian dishes. It pains me to give it this score, however, I have to be honest. I've been ordering from Tiny's for the past 10 years and for the most part, they are very prompt and always provide great customer service, hence the 3 stars. However, when I ordered this weekend, I was told it would be a 30 minute delivery. So I patiently waited, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and then an hour. I received a call from the driver who was clearly lost... mind you, I live no more than 8-10 minutes away. In addition to the original hour that I waited without calling to complain, I called Tiny's to inquire about my order. Their hold system is horrible! After waiting on hold for nearly 10 minutes, they told me that they would touch base with the driver and get back to me. Another 45 minutes later, the driver finally showed up with my order... 2 pies... a medium and an extra large... 2 pies that too close to 2 hours to deliver. Not to mention that the pizza was completely smooshed and to one side. When I asked Tiny's what the resolve was, I was asked to call back and speak to a manager. In this instance I mildly blame the driver because I understand that he may have been lost, however, its 2017... use your gps! What is unacceptable is the lack of customer service and this lax attitude of "oh well" that I received over the phone. It is the responsibility of the business to have staff that is able to navigate and deliver as this a direct reflection of their service. I did not stiff the driver on his tip and I did pay in full for my meal, but this lapse in customer service has left a bad impression on me. read more

I really love Tiny's too! I work like 3 bloocks away. Im like in love with their pasta dishes. Just this one time, my co-worker ordered Cord un BLue or whatever its called and the chicken inside was raw (goosebumps!) and then my Pasta Carbonara sauce wasnt cooked all the way, there was a raw egg white (gag!) BUT! That was just that ONE time. whew! The actually guy names Tiny, is really nice too. Even funnier story... I started using the BB Yelp app and looked up restaurants around my job. Tiny's is definitely a gem in the Bronx neighborhood in which it resides, serving up tasty pizza, pasta, sandwiches, wraps, and salads to the hungry people who live and work near Grand Concourse. The pizza is especially good, always fresh, and loaded with the toppings of your choice, ranging from pepperoni, to chicken a la vodka, to Hawaiian, to primavera. I also love that the crust has sesame seeds. If I am not in a pizza mood, I order the chicken Caesar salad, which is always made to order, fresh, and tons of food! We're done with Tiny's. Too often the mess up the order, but most recently and order places on Seamless had an initial delivery of 45 minutes, then an hour and 15 minutes, but in the end it wasn't delivered until 2 hours and 45 minutes later. The petulant gal who takes the orders needs to be fired. Her listening skills are absent and her bedside manner is awful. I don't care how good the food tastes. I'm never again giving them the opportunity to make me wait and call and wait some more like I said, my wife and I are done with Tiny's. read more

This has to be one of the worst Pizzeria's is in the Bronx. Not only have they gotten my order wrong more than once the three times that I've been here, but they've forgotten to give me the extra food that I've paid extra for and refused to deliver it to me.. The chicken alfredo is extremely bland and unsavory and the sauce for the chicken parmesan is watered down. The cashier is a sweetheart but the food sucks. Margherita pizza... made with no fresh basil....Mama Mia wrap...was just chicken, small cooked onions, lettuce and maybe a ranch dressing...(check the description..its supposed to be grilled chicken, roasted peppers, mozzarella and something else). Guy did say they would make me another pizza.. But, after discovering the additional issue with the wrap while on the phone, I declined... didnt want the risk of another disappointment. The quality of this fake margherita pizza was shameful...soggy careless no effort whatsoever. The tres leches cake was so so but delivered in a tied up bag sideways(not delivery guys fault). This place was recommended by a family member that swears by this place.. it was a rainy nasty day and of course delivery is always the best option. I ordered shrimp scampi because how can u go wrong with pasta and shrimp. Delivery service was fast the food was hot but the pasta was very dry. I LOVE TINY'S!!!!!! The teachers at my high school always order from this pizza place. They usually go with regular cheese pizzas, and eggplant parm. The best thing about the slices is the CRUST! Sesame seeds on pizza crust? Genius! After spending the day playing baseball, what a better way to fill up then to get a pie with friends. We ordered by phone (half pepperoni,half eggplant parm), and by the time we got there, they kindly told us to sit. They brought the pizza to our table, with plates and napkins. The small,quiet restaurant is just a great place to be in. The reason for the 4 stars? A couple of the slices were a little burnt near the crust, which is not usual from Tiny's. The food at this place is actually very good. Great pizza and their crust is unique and tasty. My low rating is based on their delivery service. Every time i've ordered from the restaurant my food has been over half an hour late from the expected delivery time. It's only about a mile from my house. I would go pick up the food myself if I had a car. As I'm writing this review i'm waiting for my pizza that should have been delivered at 9PM (I ordered it at 7PM and it's 9:46PM now) Luckily grub hub has great customer service and I got credit for free food..still hungry though. I've lived in this neighborhood for six years now and Tiny's is literally the only legit restaurant in the area. I get delivery from here constantly! Their pizza and Italian food is pretty great for what you're paying for. You have to consider that this is an area that doesn't boast amazing restaurants, so the standards aren't extremely high. Very below average in my opinion. I ordered a Chicken Parmesan sandwich. The bread was soggy and the chicken to cheese and sauce was tremendously disproportionate. I had more cheese than chicken and the sauce was very overpowering. Other than the dining experience I was completely disappointed to see a grade pending sticker posted. This concerns me because I start to doubt food cleanliness, preparations and handling. If your looking for someplace good to eat I recommend somewhere else. read more

Tony's has had great quality food for years. You can either order or dine in. Not a whole bunch of room inside but all worth it either way. Pizza has always been good but I think I prefer the pastas. Usually enough to satisfy. I recommend this place. read more

This is pretty much the only place that I get delivery from. Their marinara/margherita (forget the exact name, ask for the one with fresh mozzarella) is to die for. Definitely one of the best pizzas in the (entire) city. My brother and sister are obsessed with it. They've recently updated their menu to include paninis, more salads, and an option for whole grain pasta, which I really appreciate. I've ordered from them dozens of times and I've only been disappointed once, when the bread of my bruschetta was soggy. Otherwise the food has been consistently good, they order a pie nearly every time they come over, even if it's just for them. Delivery is quick and they actually come upstairs to your apartment, unlike Giovanni's, who makes you come down to the delivery car but still expects you to tip (wtf?it especially sucks during winter)! They only way I order from Giovanni's is if Tiny's is closed. It closes early at 10pm, even on the weekends, while Giovannni's delivers until midnight. Giovanni's food is good too, but their delivery sucks and they are kind of overpriced. read more
