Definitely a family type place- nice people, and decent food. The pasta is definitely not made in house, and I definitely caught them on an off-night with my dish. Every Italian restaurant I go to, I order plain spaghetti- no butter- no oil, and a side of grilled chicken. The chicken was fine, but the pasta smelled like an air freshener -- it was seriously the weirdest thing. Multiple people smelled it and agreed I probably shouldn't eat it - so sad because I love plain pasta. Any way... it is what it is. Also- this isn't the most tidy place... tables were left dirty from the time we arrived (12 of us), from the time we left. But seriously- it's like eating in your grandmas kitchen- so the cleanliness is almost excusable???

My husband and I always drive by here and finally decided to stop by. This place did not disappoint! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the food was amazing. The bread was warm and fresh. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal and relax. One good thing to note is that it's BYOB! Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

If y'all are craving Italian food this is the place! It's a pretty small restaurant but don't judge before you try the food! We always went to Olive Garden but it's NOTHING compared to this. The service was amazing from start to end. We went on Mother's Day and my mom felt very special. They even gave her a rose. We never had amazing service like this before. We will be coming back for sure! We got the homemade bread, garlic bread, lobster ravioli, Fettuccini Alfredo (w/ chicken), Chicken Parmigiana, and Italian cream cake.

From the call to see how long the wait would be this place was great. Customer service was amazing, right away the staff was welcoming, made accommodation for our party of five. Mentioned the specials to us as well. This place was authentic from the food to the people. Super friendly and made us feel like we were friends. The place was small but cozy. The food was delicious. I had the lasagna and calamari. I recommend both!

i love simplistic great food, and giovanni's has it! this is a small little italian restaurant nestled in a away in a neighborhood. the decor is not super updated, but who cares when you're there for the pasta?!! the service was amazing and what you would expect from a family owned restaurant. they do not serve alcohol but it is byob, so grab some wine on your way in. there is not a single complaint about any of the food or service. let this be your sign to go check it out! bonne appétit

My Dad wanted Spaghetti for dinner. I remembered he liked Giovanni's Spaghetti. This restaurant is conveniently located off Crowley Road. So, I headed there only to discover they were closed and open at 4 pm? I walked in and the owner quickly said, We are not open. Then the guy behind him said, come on in. Then the owner said, he will take care of you. Then, another guy said come, sit down, and he proceeded to turn the TV on. Then, he asked me if I wanted a drink. I said, 'Sure if it's on the house." Lol. He said, I'll make you some fresh Tea. I said ok. Then he asked, how the Tea was. I said, It's good!" He said , Do you need anything else? I asked for some lemons and he brought it out. I waited just a few minutes and my order was ready! The cook brought my food out with a smile. The waiter came and said, would you like a bag for that? I said, Yea, that would be helpful! Then he said, would you like some more Tea and filled my drink up! He also, wanted me to have a menu before I left but, he couldnt find one so he gave me a business card. He asked, if I wanted anything else. I explained, I was having soup and my Dad was having the Spaghetti. The waiter said, "I see." I ordered the Tortellini Soup. It was delicious. It wasy my first time ordering this kind of soup. It was not listed on the Menu. I asked for it. My Soup was loaded with oil Butter and Salt making it creamy and flavorful. My soup had lots of Pasta, Zucchini, and Squash as well. The waiter went above and beyond for me. He was so nice to me. He treated me like, I was a friend in his home. I don't think I've been to a restaurant where I was made to feel this way! Therefore, I highly recommend this restaurant not just for the service but for the great tasting food.

Glad we made reservations on a Saturday night. This place gets busy very quickly! We were greeted right away and the staff was very friendly! The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming! The staff checked on us regularly and they were very genuine! Felt like you were part of the family. This was my first time visiting a restaurant that allows you to bring your own bottle and I will say it was nice to do. We started with stuffed mushrooms and garlic bread, both tasty. They do provide complimentary bread, but you must try their garlic bread. I had the baked ziti with Italian sausage and it was delicious. The shrimp fradiablo was my favorite. The sauce was thick and creamy and the right amount of spice. We did choose a side salad with their tomato vinaigrette and it was really good. The tiramisu along with the coffee was a perfect end to our delicious meal!!!! I also loved that they did not overdo it with the chocolate sauce. I cannot wait to visit again and try another dish!

The food is full of flavor! Their dishes are amazingly delicious! I'm not sure what's in the sauce but I enjoyed dipping my bread in it. You've got to try the desserts. Our server was sweet, courteous, professional & extremely attentive! The atmosphere is welcoming & cozy! I will definitely be going back to try another Italian dish

The food here is absolutely delicious. So glad we found this place. The server and the owner were very kind and accommodating. They were able to heavily customize every dish to our liking. The seafood with white clam sauce, the carbonara, stuffed mushrooms, and pink sauce chicken linguine was great, nothing was left over. The tiramisu was absolutely fantastic as well. Definitely coming back here and I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Tiramisu and the best one I have ever had in my life!!!

Chicken Marsala and salads were good. Service was decent. Calamari was horrible. Like cardboard in chewing texture. No flavor as well.

This year was the classic tiramisu again and somehow I still wasn't prepared for how good it is. I ended up eating nearly half the cake myself. If you know tiramisu, you'll appreciate this one. The sponge is very soaked like super rich, espresso-forward, and honestly feels like drinking a glass of coffee in dessert form. I personally love that deep, juicy texture, but if you're someone who prefers a lighter, less saturated sponge, this might be a bit much for you. That said, it's absolutely worth trying. Just maybe start with a smaller size at the restaurant before committing to a full cake. This is exactly the kind of tiramisu I crave, and it's the reason Emilia's keeps being the birthday cake spot every year.

It wasn't great, but it was good. A disappointing part was that you pretty much have to valet your car. It's $20 if you're not eating there or in the hotel, and it's $10 if you are eating in the restaurant. That does not include your tip. It was restaurant week, so we thought we would give Emily a shot. What we found was that, because I wanted the sea bass, if we ordered off the menu instead of the restaurant week special, we would save about $20. That doesn't make sense.

Clean, well lit. Wait staff dressed uniformly. Dining area divided into sections, so we sat in a cozy intimate "corner" with a few other tables. Wait staff: Clean, neat and friendly. Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good. Price was well in line with other sit down restaurants. (About $37 for both, and got 3 meals out of it.) Overall experience: I'd give it a 9.5, only because I don't give 10's. (Unless you feed me by hand, and wash and wax my car. HA!) We will *DEFINITELY* go back. (OK. I admit. That means I'll be harassing my wife to go back sometime this week. But, it really was GREAT!
