Another one of these pizza places in the area that I had driven past often, but never visited, Gave them a call on a Sunday evening and ordered a XL (16") cheese and sausage. The ETA for pickup was 30-40 - got there around 35 minutes after my call and it was ready. The most notable part about their pizza was the cracker thin crust - almost like matzo crackers. Sausage was abundant on the pizza, albeit lightly flavored. Sauce was OK - not bad but not outstanding either. While I tend to prefer more of a lightly cooked pizza, I never ask for and variances when I first try a place as I want to see what their idea of their pizza should be. In my opinion, this pizza was cooked perfectly in that respect as it was neither lightly cooked or too well done. Kudos on that! Total came to $23.48 which to me was a fair value for the pizza received. I gave the place four stars - probably more like 3.5. Overall a solid pizza - there are better to be found, but not by all that much. I'll go back on a night when I want to change things up again. read more

My fave neighborhood pizza joint! Not only cuz they are close to home, but the quality is good. Our favorite is Hawaiian, but replace Canadian bacon with normal breakfast bacon. Add some fried mushrooms and we are good to go! Seriously, the fried mushrooms are the best! Occasionally they will throw in a complimentary soda, which we always appreciate. read more

These other reviewers have got to be kidding. My vegetarian pizza was soggy, needed salt, and needed a lot more cheese. They have the option of roasted red pepper. But it was a raw and soggy as the rest of the vegetables. Apparently they don't know the difference between raw and roasted red peppers. Just tossing red pepper on a pizza doesn't roast it especially when everything else is soggy. Waste of money. Never ordering from them again. Ordered one of the daily specials for takeout from here. It was our first time ordering at the prompting of a neighbor who swears this is the best pizza spot around, she's been a longtime loyal customer, so we were excited to give it a try. I guess what constitutes good pizza is a very individualized taste. It was fine, just not what I would prefer. The service from the female working at the window was a little lacking. I almost felt awkward to approach her or ask for Parmesan. We've been to what I would consider a similar style pizza spot nearby that comes in a bag, and that pizza to us was almost inedible. At least the pizza here we could eat, we just weren't overly impressed and likely wouldn't choose pizza again. Maybe would give some of the other menu items a try though. If you like this type of neighborhood style pizza, I would suggest giving them a try. Like I said, my neighbor is a long standing loyal customer who really enjoys their style of pizza. When we used to live in the area this is the place we would order from and not because it was close but because they have great pizza for great prices. Collect 20 coupons and get a free pizza. I love everything about them from the sauce to the crust to the cheese. I don't think it's a great as La Villa's pizza but it comes pretty close and they have a great delivery time too. I ordered a pizza from here on Grubhub on a Saturday around 5:30PM, and received a notification that it may take 45-50 minutes. At 7:00PM, I called to inquire where the pizza was at and the lady was not helpful at all. When she finally figured out that I ordered it via Grubhub she made all these excuses that she didn't get the order and all of a sudden she gets it at 7:02PM. The reason I even ordered a pizza is because my 6 year old son wanted pizza and a movie. So I was more upset because I knew he was hungry waiting for it too. The pizza arrived 20 minutes after that phone call. The guy was handing me the drink and as he was checking the pizza, he brought the wrong one to my door. He had to go back to his car to get the right one. When he finally came back with the right one, he made some comments I did not like and I told him about the wait. Then he said, "[Maybe you should get food from a place around the corner]". Never again will I waste my time ordering from here. They have delicious thin crust pizza! I always order the same thing, which is the medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and jalepeno with cream cheese jalepeno poppers. The ingredients are good quality. The thin crust pizza is actually thin and not doughy which I love, although I always order mine extra thin & extra crispy because that's how I like it. The sauce isn't sweet, but is savory yet flavorful. I love ordering from here when I have visitors because everyone loves it. This is a small mom & pop place that I used to order from many years ago when my sis used to live in the area and now that I live in the area, I order from them. My parents used to have a small pizza place like this back in the day, so it brings back fond memories. Anyways, I hope others order from here as well. Called them around 10:05p and some heavily accented, rude Crabbypants picked up the phone and treated me as though I was a total bother. This was a first-time order. Had to order a 12" because they don't do 10", learned their "thin crust" isn't that thin, and ordering giardiniera from here means they toss a chopped jalapeno here and there. It was hot and ... edible - not great for $20 w/2 ingredients. On the bright side the pizza was delivered relatively quick (they were closing) and the delivery man was extremely polite and courteous. Treatment like this, however, doesn't warrant another visit. Call Sorrento's or Ild World - Crabbypants doesn't work there, thin means thin, and giardiniera includes olives and celery in the mix. read more

Really good pizza. Its a toss up between colutas, giovannis, and sorrentos. They are all completely different as far as their sauces are concerned, but all very good in their own way.
