I recently bought a home in Sacramento and had contacted Giovanni's to come do a tree inspection prior to me buying a home. The seller used another tree service to cut down the big tree in the front yard which ended up being a huge mistake because that company left a huge mess and completely damaged the front fence which eventually had to be repaired. I used Giovanni's service to remove the rest of the trees on the property and I couldn't be happier. Very professional clean And beyond fairly priced. We had Giovanni and his crew take down a 90 ft digger pine a few days ago. No damage at all working in a cramped area. They have been here twice before trimming tree branches for safety and fire control. The crew works like a well oiled machine. Hello I had them remove a tree at my house. They did the job and it was good. The problem have is I explained where to dispose of wood. They put the wood in the wrong place, I asked them to come back and put wood on the street and he refused to do it. He should have came back and rectified the situation. read more

He drove out to my house, to give me an estimate. He was very pleasant and professional. He was knowledgeable and answered my questions patiently. I like the fact that he was on time, too! We needed to have some work done on our yard and asked the owner of the company that services our pool for a recommendation. He suggested I contact Giovanni's Tree Service. I am very happy that I did! Giovanni's team tackled 3 projects - removing lawns in the front and back yards; cutting down 2 mature trees and grinding the stumps, removing a multitude of bushes, plants and a massive (at least 20 foot high) hedge of oleanders. They did a fantastic job, working quickly and efficiently. They cleaned everything up nicely and the price was very reasonable. Giovanni was very easy to work with. Giovanni's Tree Service was professional, skilled, on-time, and reasonably priced. Perhaps more importantly, they were flexible. We hired Giovanni to trim the portion of an 80 ft tree that hung over our yard from an empty lot next door. His team of three, truck, and chipper showed up for the job. Half-way through the job, we heard from two neighbors who also wanted portions removed. We asked him to remove the rest of the tree and haul. I have a small area next to my driveway. Had plants put in few years ago and all was well until the nutgrass took over. So I hired Giovanni's to fix it, remove some of the plants and he said he would put something down to stop the nutgrass and other grassy weeds. It looks great when they were done. But the nutgrass returned. I told Giovanni, he came with another guy, they would be back to fix it. That was at least two months ago. $1500 paid for a lousy result. read more

I called around 530pm because I noticed my palm tree was leaning and nearly going to fall on top of my pool filtration system. Giovanni answered and said he could be out first thing in the AM to assess and possibly remove the tree. I was very impressed and happy with Giovanni's Tree Service. Our two big Palm trees in our front yard fell over from the storm and blocked the sidewalk and part of the road.
