Came here for lunch with my Nana. Food: 1/5 Lunch included egg flower soup, steamed white rice, and pork potsticker. The noodles were soggy, meats & veggies were fresh. The sauces were lacking in flavor. Even though I put 2-3 spoonfuls of each sauce, the end result was flavorless. There was no chili oil. Most of their sauces were sweet based and watery in flavor. The Sriracha sauce on the table seemed watered down. It didn't have the same consistency of Sriracha. Even after adding Sriracha, the noodles, meats and veggies were still flavorless. Thumbs down! Way down... Service: 1/5 The service was a big fine mess! The line was long and there was only 1 cook. He is literally the slowest cook i've ever had the displeasure of witnessing in all of my Mongolian BBQ experiences. He took 4-5 minutes to cook each bowl. It felt like I was watching a nightmare in slow motion...From preparing our bowls to getting it cooked, it took 20 minutes. They put out appetizers on our table immediately. By the time we got to eat at our table, the soup , rice and potstickers were cold. I asked for water and tea. My water & tea arrived 10 min after I ordered. All of the workers seemed very disoriented. I do commend the only asian worker in the restaurant. He always made sure the meats, vegetables and sauces were well stocked and fresh. He was the only one that seemed to be doing his job proficiently... I would not go back to GK Mongolian. I was very disappointed in the food and service. Ambiance: 2/5 Restaurant was spacious. There were a lot of dirty tables.

Fresh food and fast service. The food was delicious, too. I love that I can over fill the bowl and get a good portion for only $14.25 plus it's cool that it comes with a potsticker and egg soup. It was a little warm inside, so it would have been nice if there was an AC since I enjoy my food spicy.

I think this can be great food spot if they start making it more like stir-fry and they add sauce directly on the sizzler clay pan. That way it will be correct amount and preparation I personally mixes up on quantity and it doesn't taste great with current setup And yes price is on higher end

Great experience at GK Mongolian BBQ. Quick process. Good selection, fresh, quick and filling. Good sauce selection. All in all we had a Togo good dining experience. Cheers

Every now and then I get a real big craving for Mongolian bbq but I usually get it at the mall...I suggest you do too. I decided to try out this chain restaurant because it's usually busy, but I think that just because it's all you can eat after 3 I believe. I got a bowl to go with just about a little bit of everything (beef, tofu, shrimp, etc.) and potstickers to go and man was I disappointed. The potstickers were super dry and bland, filling literally tasted like nothing and the outside was as hard as a fortune cookie and it wasn't because I got it to go. I tried it in my car while it was still hot. The Mongolian bbq itself was whatever, nothing special. I just thought it would be better than the one at the mall since it's a chain restaurant but the one in the malls are way better, a lot more flavor. All in all I give this establishment a 2/5. It was not busy at all so I thought I lucked out but I guess not. At least there was no wait, would've been even more of a bummer.

Let me start this off by saying please understand what you're getting when you come to this place. It's not caviar and wagyu beef. It's a stuff your bowl with a whole bunch of good stuff and watch them cook it in front of you. As many times as you want. It's a Buffet. When I go to buffet's I don't expect stellar quality but this place is actually pretty good and the value can't be beat. $16.25 per person for dinner and you can load up as many times as you want with whatever you want. For those who have never been, they have the following meat options: chicken, beef, turkey, pork. Then for veggies that have a pretty good assortment. Baby corn, onions, bell peppers, tofu, jalapeños, peanuts, spinach, bean sprouts, lettuce, broccoli, etc. then you get to add the cooking oils that you want! Only thing I would say is watch out if you have certain allergens because they cook all the food on the same grill so please be weary. Our waiter was nice and got us a refill on water without having to ask for it. It was actually kinda of quiet which was nice but it was a weekday so I'm assuming it gets loud on the weekends. Other than that it's been around for awhile now and I remember the first day it opened in Tracy! Good to know it's still around and kickin.

Mix of different meats, lots of veggies, spoon of each sauce/oil offered, and a good amount of noodles!

Food is always fresh and full of flavor. I recommend the teriyaki sauce over everything with a little garlic powder.

When I say I have been eating at Happy Dragon for years, I mean over 30 years. We use to have the lunch special when we were in high school! Ownership has changed a few times, but I find the quality to be the same. My mom and I sat down a bit early for dinner. We had the dining room to ourselves for most of dinner. There were a handful of people that came in to order to-go and one gentleman that had dinner in and ordered the same thing to go. He raved about how good his plate was. We ordered the Chef's Special for the two of us, hot tea for her and iced tea for me. Our fried prawns and crab puffs came out first with a side of sweet and sour. Then some wonton soup was dropped on our table. Great flavor from the broth. Then came out the sweet & sour pork, pork chow mein, and pork fried rice. The service was fast. We ordered a soup to go and that came out about the time we were wrapping up. Took plenty of food home with us as the portions were huge. I thought our dinner was excellent, still my favorite Chinese food! There is construction going on outside, the shopping center is old and dated, they are doing roof repair. The interior of Happy Dragon is nothing special, but adequate for a good hot meal.

I've had seniorita bread before but didn't expect to get it here. Walked in and it's a small storefront that shares space with a boba tea shop. The lady was very nice. I ordered a 10 piece of seniorita bread so that I would have some to snack on later. It took a few minutes but she came back with my box and the bread was still warm. Not too sweet, buttery, delicious! I'll be back if I'm in this area again.

I didn't notice until I got home because the lid was clouded from condensation. Because I live far away, I called about it and offered to send a video. Instead of offering a refund, they said they'd allow me to come back for a new pie. I called months later to pick up the replacement pie since I was going to be in the area. They said they were out of buko pies and I could choose another--they apparently only had pies available at a lesser value and would comp with senorita bread. I also received a phone lecture from Joy (through Carmela) that this wouldn't be allowed next time... I'd prefer not being sold a moldy pie next time. Thanks! Upon pick up, they only offered the cassava pie ($7), even though buko pies were in the display. No senorita bread given as promised. Condescending service. They'll sell you food that can make you sick and make you out to be in the wrong. In retrospect, I shouldn't have bothered over $12.
