Fresh food and fast service. The food was delicious, too. I love that I can over fill the bowl and get a good portion for only $14.25 plus it's cool that it comes with a potsticker and egg soup. It was a little warm inside, so it would have been nice if there was an AC since I enjoy my food spicy.

I think this can be great food spot if they start making it more like stir-fry and they add sauce directly on the sizzler clay pan. That way it will be correct amount and preparation I personally mixes up on quantity and it doesn't taste great with current setup And yes price is on higher end

Great experience at GK Mongolian BBQ. Quick process. Good selection, fresh, quick and filling. Good sauce selection. All in all we had a Togo good dining experience. Cheers

Every now and then I get a real big craving for Mongolian bbq but I usually get it at the mall...I suggest you do too. I decided to try out this chain restaurant because it's usually busy, but I think that just because it's all you can eat after 3 I believe. I got a bowl to go with just about a little bit of everything (beef, tofu, shrimp, etc.) and potstickers to go and man was I disappointed. The potstickers were super dry and bland, filling literally tasted like nothing and the outside was as hard as a fortune cookie and it wasn't because I got it to go. I tried it in my car while it was still hot. The Mongolian bbq itself was whatever, nothing special. I just thought it would be better than the one at the mall since it's a chain restaurant but the one in the malls are way better, a lot more flavor. All in all I give this establishment a 2/5. It was not busy at all so I thought I lucked out but I guess not. At least there was no wait, would've been even more of a bummer.

Mix of different meats, lots of veggies, spoon of each sauce/oil offered, and a good amount of noodles!

A must try if you're in or stopping by Tracy!!! Every time I come to town I 9/10 times stop here for lunch and trust me, you'll be set for the rest of the day! They've definitely gotten a lot more stricter with their rules - no takeout on seconds, and no extra bowls to smash down the food to make it all fit. Prices have definitely gone up as well, dinner I know is way more expensive. I came around 2:30PM on Sunday and for 1 bowl (took some to go) and 1 fountain drink, I paid almost $20!! I'd give it 3 stars because I find that ridiculously expensive for a small town but I will say, it's worth it since you get to do the all you can eat (just make sure to come with an empty stomach and ready to EAT). Overall a tasty spot, 10/10 recommend if you're in the area!

The service was good, and our servers filled our water glasses without asking. There is a full bar to order your favorite adult drinks to go with your dinner. The ambiance is Asian with Japanese decor through out the restaurant. Bento food item selected: Ahi BBQ Beef ribs - 4.5/5 Very flavorful teriyaki marinated beef ribs. It appears you get a single beef rib which is cut into sections. My beef ribs had excess fat that could have been trimmed. That being said, the BBQ beef ribs were very tasty and delicious. Ahi Sashimi - 5/5 The ahi was excellent. The texture and firmness was there just like how fresh ahi sashimi should be. The slices were generous, NOT thinly cut like at other places. Kudos for Mikasa on this selection! Tempura - 4/5 The tempura batter was crunchy, but not a flakey crunch how it is suppose to be. The veggies were cooked just right. The carrots and broccoli were tender, not hard or crunchy. The shrimp tempura was also fried just right. All went well with the tempura sauce. Saba Shioyaki - 4/5 The saba Shioyaki (Japanese grilled mackerel) was slightly on the dry side, but still had some tenderness and tasted very good. The Saba was not overly salty. The Saba was overall very good. Spicy Tuna roll - 5/5 The spicy ahi had some heat, but not overly spicy. The spicy mayo was creamy with a decent amount of kick. A very nice selection. We all enjoyed our experience at Mikasa Bistro & Sushi Bar. I will be revisiting Mikasa for an update review looking for consistency in food prep and service. I would recommend giving Mikasa a visit if you're in Tracy looking for a nice place to eat.

But we decided to dine in this time. We got the seafood sizzling rice soup, pineapple fried rice, chicken chow fun, honey glazed prawns, and the bbq pork buns. This soup is just all around satisfying. The sizzling sound just entices you to get a bowlful. The broth is clean and savory while the sizzling rice adds nuttiness. There's a few pieces of shrimp and veggies that round out the flavors. Honestly, I could just have the broth and the rice and would be totally satiated. The honey prawns are a crowd favorite. They're creamy, crispy, and sweet. The pineapple fried rice is also a favorite with its sweet and savory notes. The chicken chow fun had deep umami flavor from the soy sauce. The noodles were chewy and the chicken was surprisingly moist despite how thin it was sliced. The steamed bbq pork buns were okay. The bun was yummy with a nice fluffy texture. But the bbq pork lacked the sweet smoky flavor I expect. Tracy does not have a lot of dim sum options, but I would skip this even if I was craving it. Service was really friendly and we got our food fast. The vibes are pretty casual - just a typical mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant. It's a pretty large space, though, so you can definitely bring a large group. But overall, the dishes here at Mei Mei are really good. We dined in and it seemed there was a customer every 10 minutes picking up their order.
