Such a cute ice cream shop with great flavors! We got the strawberry shortcake sundae where the proceeds are donated to charity and the special lemon froyo/lemon sorbet topped with homemade marshmallow. This is the famous Instagramable spot on the Upper East Side to absolutely splurge and feast on sugary goodness. In winter their hot chocolate smores concoction with a huge ring of flamed marshmallow on top is the go-to. They also have a variety of hot chocolate drinks on the menu. If you want ice cream they offer a selection of sundaes, soft serve, seasonal specials, an assorted flavors. Definitely a place to satisfy that sweet tooth craving. Can get very busy at times as I have seen a line down the block for that special hot chocolate. read more

Got the PB and vanilla soft serve with brownies and it was good but their cookie al a mode is way better. A pretty long line on a Sunday but moved quickly. Also sampled their tart and it was delicious so I think I'd get that next time if I was just doing soft serve. read more

Saw this on tiktok and of course I had try it out. It was yummy and perfect for the oddly rainy cold day we had in our New York trip. After much deliberating since everything looked so good I ended up with the brownie sundae hot chocolate It was really good but honestly extremely heavy and sweet, and that's a lot coming from me! What a sugar rush! But in the best way. My husband loves hot chocolate and we were close by one cold spring evening, so we made an impromptu trip to Glace by Noglu to try out their famous hot chocolate. We arrived pretty close to closing time, however the employees weren't rude about it, which we really appreciated! We ordered one of the Classic S'mores Hot Chocolate to share, which was plenty for the two of us! Not only is it beautifully crafted, but it's also soooo good! They toast a marshmallow on top, which I suggest you take a bite of then sip some hot chocolate to enjoy with each bite. We've only tried their hot chocolate so far, but I'm sure we'll be back to try their ice cream once it warms up a bit more! read more

Have loved this shop for a long time! Everyone knows it for their viral toasted marshmallow hot chocolate and for the summer you can get frozen hot chocolate. They just debuted their new summer menu and you need to try this Amalfi lemon sundae and their hot butter sundae. They also have a candy selection and so much more on their menu. Enjoy! read more

I've been wanting to try Glacé for an extremely long time after seeing all of their cookie platters with soft serve on Instagram and tik tok. Now this is a simple concept but the execution is extremely important as these are such simple baked goods and ingredients but because of that quality and taste is so much more important. I ordered the cookie tray which comes with brown butter vanilla soft serve and opted for the chocolate chip cookie. Now it was a hot summer night and I decided to dig in before taking a photo, but my goodness is this delicious!! The cookie is warm so it melts and the soft serve compliments it so well. It's so well made and appetizing I could eat this every week. Ordered: Ferrero Glacé Hot Chocolate (~$14): Gianduja Hot Chocolate, Marshmallow Halo, Whipped Cream, Candied Hazelnuts and Glace Nutella Aya's take: I fear Glace by Noglu is not overhyped at all. We stopped by for a post-dinner sweet treat and knew we wanted one of their hot chocolates. They have 5 flavors to choose from all containing a marshmallow halo. The Ferrero Glacé Hot Chocolate caught my eye and within a few minutes, we were enjoying it. For ~$14, yes it's pretty steep. At the end of the day, it's just hot chocolate but it is elevated and well-made. It was warm, soothing, and sweet. I also loved the whipped cream, marshmallow halo and the Nutella on top. It's the perfect treat for the Winter! It got pretty hectic inside and I think the staff could have managed the lines better but they did seem understaffed. I finally got my hands on this hot chocolate and honestly I'm very happy to say it didn't disappoint. I know some of you might think it's hard to mess up a hot chocolate and the others understand what I mean - it has to be balanced. First and foremost, the service was quick and polite. This is a must for an area that is jam packed full of tourist. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was of the beautiful Rockefeller center and it was cold outside, so conditions were perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I waited on line for about 20 mins. I'm no stranger to lines when it comes to something I want and something that has clearly been on everyone's radar. I opted for the salted caramel version of their hot chocolate. Which was just a caramel drizzle and some flaky sea salt on top but I'm a sucker for salted hot chocolates. The chocolate itself was perfectly rich and dark. As the whip cream melted it provided a great barrier against the scalding chocolate so it stayed the perfect temperature. The ring of torched meringue added the right amount of sweetness that it needed. As it all caved in, it creates something along the lines of a melted s'mores situation and I wasn't mad at it. Was it expensive? Yes. But it was a nice experience and it was delicious. read more

First impressions: must be very popular because there was a line of 15 people in front of me about 18 mins before opening. And it was in 30F weather. This made me feel good about getting a great hot choco experience The Noms: I got the salted caramel. It was good and I liked the hot chocolate, tho I do prefer my hot chocolate to be a bit thicker. It was still dark and rich. I didn't taste any of the salted caramel so save yourself the money and just get the regular one. The whipped cream was waaayyyy too much. Some places have not enough whipped cream or marshmallows to hot chocolate ratio, but this is the first and only place that had wayyy too much. Either the torched marshmallow ring or the scoop of whipped cream, don't both. Tho I don't think you have a choice. Just scoop some out any toss it. Tip- drink it with a straw first, then a spoon, or you'll spill it like some people I saw eating it too soon with a spoon. In Conclusion: it was good but I wouldn't go again. Certainly not with a line like that. read more

Returned to try their viral s'mores hot chocolate for $11. It was beautiful and very fun to drink for the first two sips. The whipped cream gets on your nose and it's very fun to watch your friends and loved ones sip!! But as with most viral things, it was beautiful but product was underwhelming in reality. very sweet and the hot chocolate is nothing special. My favorite part was the marshmallow cap, and I ended up throwing most of the whipped cream away. I honestly did not even finish the hot chocolate despite it being such a small cup because of how sweet it was. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're trying to jump on the bandwagon and try this viral shop, this upper East Side location is much better than the food truck at Rockefeller Plaza and far less busy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute little shop with one of the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had, brown butter![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They get their cookie from another popular New York bakery, Funny Face, and this I feel is their downfall. The cookie is just not that good. It's overly floury and more cakey than cookie; New York City has way too many other good cookie options, then to settle for this one. Other than that, the rest of sundae was delicious! I can't comment on the viral over the top hot chocolate, but just from what I could tell, it seemed a bit gimmicky, and I don't even know how you could drink it with the marshmallow ring around the cup. Yes, another January review dropping in February because life be life-ing and I be outside, okay? But this one is for Glacé. Of course I saw the viral cookie sundae video. Once that hit my timeline, I already knew I was going. There was no "maybe." It was a "when." So me and my mama went to the one on 90th and Madison. We got there a little before closing -- a few people inside, but no crazy line. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And I love that it's half dessert shop, half candy store vibes. You walk in and it just feels like sugar and happiness live there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now listen -- we did not get the cookie sundae this time. I know. Stay tuned because we're going back for that. But this round we did hot chocolate. I got the Ferrero Glaze hot chocolate and my mom got the salted caramel. When I tell you... BELIEVE THE HYPE. It was velvety. Smooth. Creamy. Rich without being heavy. And the temperature? Perfect. Not so hot that you're burning your tongue waiting to sip it, but not lukewarm either. Drink-immediately perfection. And watching them make it? Delicious magic happening right in front of you. They do this halo marshmallow ring around the cup and torch it so it gets all golden and toasty. Chocolate dripping from the fountain. It's an experience. Nostalgic and fancy at the same time. My mom said her salted caramel was perfectly balanced -- sweet with that little salty kick. And it was cold outside too, so we're walking back bundled up, just sipping in silence. We had to laugh because neither one of us was talking. If you know, you know. When it's hitting? We get quiet. They've got so many options too -- soft serve, gelato, dipped cones with matcha, Nutella, dark chocolate, pistachio, sundaes, even hot chocolate sundaes. It's dangerous in the best way. UGH the manager is abhorrent. He runs a toxic ship, being bossy, rude, and completely stingy. He barks at his employees under his breath to put fewer toppings and when he notices a scoop is too big or someone was given too much hard shell, he has a dramatic hissy fit (even though he thinks he's being discreet). And he's an older Caucasian man, too, someone who should conduct himself with much more decorum. Especially as a manager. As if an extra drop of hard sell or a few extra sprinkles is going to ruin his profit margins on his overnrpcied items. As for the quality - many good things, some mediocre, but mostly pretty good and worth eating. If only the guy could mature a bit. read more

Had to wait around 30-40min in the cold on New Year's Day but the hot chocolate was really good! We got the cookies and cream and ferrero glace and they were both delicious! The ferrero glacé was actually not just regular hot chocolate but it was hazelnut flavored, and we preferred that more than the cookies and cream one. The whipped cream on top was very milky and decadent and we really liked toasted marshmallow on the rim! I will definitely come back when the line is shorter! read more

This place has been on my go-to list for the past year or so & boy was I satisfied. I got the regular s'mores hot chocolate & it was so rich & chocolatey! The sweetness was perfect & the drink in general was just great. The service is quick, the staff were nice, but there isn't space in the shop to sit down & have your hot chocolate, so it's definitely a grab & go type of thing. The other reviews are accurate about the social media buzz at this spot. I'll even go as far as saying the hype and IG picturesque photos inflate the sense of taste here. Overall, I got a classic s'mores hot chocolate. It was good from the taste and sweetness level. I was expecting it to be sweeter because of the marshmallow halo and whipped cream, but it wasn't and that's definitely not a bad thing in my book. I liked the staff and thought they must be incredibly patient as they work through the hordes of people in line. read more

We didn't wanna stand around so we opted for the store front and I'm glad we did. There were only about three other groups in line when we arrived.
