I've been here before for food and karaoke and experienced the DJ spinning in the front, but the experience last night for NYE was TERRIBLE. * Our friend made a reservation for a room and was told that they open until 5 AM -- not the case. They said come back at 2:30 AM and pay a cover charge?! * Many police were there and evacuated everyone at 2 AM. There was a loud pop when the police poked into our room and asked if the employees told us to leave (no, at this moment in time). * We bought alcohol and food but were barely able to eat it. At least they were able to comp some of the purchase. * The employees were just as confused and blamed it on miscommunication. So your supervisor or manager never told you the closing time?! * An employee literally said "Everyone from this side of the room get the f**k out." Yes, he addressed this to paying customers. But they followed me out and pressured me into giving them more money. I ended up giving them more money because I felt like the situation wouldn't end unless I did. I've been here multiple times for food and karaoke now. I come for karaoke because karaoke is in my blood. New Year's Eve I showed up around midnight because my friend already reserved a room till 5am. Lesson learned... don't go out on NYE again. We had a table and ordered a lot of food and alcohol. Then suddenly around 2:00 a.m. I hear a loud clack. It sounded like a gunshot wound and I feared for my life for a moment. After the loud bang, the music stopped, and I wondered if there was a fight outside instead. I thought about my exit strategy and looked out the into the crowd. Apparently, the cops were around and shut the place down at 2:00 a.m. they said they will have to kick everybody out and reopen at 2:30 a.m. with a $10 cover charge. The problem was that there was no warning, and we already paid for alcohol and food but did not get to eat the food yet. Our server wasn't even quite sure what was going on so he gave us a 50% discount because he said he would return to alcohol that was unopened. We asked for a box to take the kimchi tofu home, and he said no because then you would have to charge us and that we already ate some of it. At the end, one of the employees also said get the "F" out to the all the customers that were slowly making their way out. Would I come here again? Came here during happy hour and food is 20% off, a good deal. The boneless fried chicken had good flavor, and the seafood pancake paired nicely with the special sauce. The grilled squid could've used more char to bring out the smoky flavor. The soju tasted super fresh with either mango or peach flavor. I come here quite often but my last visit was really bad. We came on a Friday night during happy hour. The place wasn't packed and there were plenty of servers near the bar. We placed our order as soon as we sat down at 6pm. We ordered drinks and three entrees. After and hour and 10 mins the server brought out the wrong entree and took it right back. We waited another twenty minutes and only one of our entrees came out. When asked when we'd get the rest of it order and server said another 20 minutes (which would make it 2 hours since we placed the order). We decided to cancel the rest of the order and leave. The squid soup was very good, flavorful and had lots of squid, tofu and vegetables. I thought it was with the price! The pizza on the other hand was a little too sweet for my liking and it was not really a pizza but more of a toast style. I think i would've preferred if it was actually a pizza. Food review only. The best time to come in is happy hour! 50% off meals is great for how big these portion sizes are! Most pocha-like lounge restaurants only do girls 50% and it makes me feel bad for my guy friends to pay full price (even if we split as a decent sized group) so I enjoy coming here. The music choice before the night life on a weekend is your usual someone's Playlist and depending on the time/day of happy hour you come, it could be loud or quietly empty. I enjoy the free chip and cheese dip that comes with our meals. I really like their Spicy Rice Cakes/ Cutlet & Grilled/Boiled Pork. I need to try their Cold Noodle next! Went here for late night after a show. It was after 10:30pm and most restaurants that were open until midnight had shut down their kitchens. We were greeted promptly by our host and we chose one of the private booths on the left. Menus and water also arrived quickly from our server. The drinks are priced fairly. We ordered a rice wine with blended mango and a Saero soju. The rice wine and fruit took a bit to grow on us but we were enjoying it after a few shots of soju. For our late night meal we went with the steak tartares and a chicken salads. The steak tartare arrived with an egg yolk and some fish eggs on it too on a bed of greens with a garlic dressing and a Korean pear. That was really great. The salad disappointed since the assumption by the folks who ordered salads were that it would be grilled chicken, but it was fried (the menu didn't state either). I probably should have warned them that if you have K chicken somewhere it's going to be fried. We had a great time. We didn't hang out much in the common area to see the ambiance but the big light show in the middle of the floor will grab your attention. The private booths are really cozy and can easily seat 8. The other cool thing about the place is the buzzer on your table has a button to call the server or ask for the check. That's a small but thoughtful detail. Now I wish every place had that so we didn't have to summon someone and ask for the check. It was pretty lively for midnight on a Wednesday but not overly noisy. We went here for karaoke but didn't expect the food to be so so good. We only had 3 people and we ordered topbokki with katsu, seafood ramen, kimbap, half and half chicken and spicy stir fry squid with rice. Please believe me when I say their food outrun all the Korean restaurants around here. They are high end when it comes to beer food and did I mentioned they are doing 50% off on all their food from 5pm-8:30pm. Even without the discounts, their prices still beats other places with the ginormous amount of food they give, their price is awesome. We sang for 4 hours with food and drinks, the tab was $208. I came on a Wednesday night and place only had a hand full of people inside. Place is huge on the inside and server came over relatively quickly. Menu has a variety of food choices and that was overwhelming since a lot of it was foods I never had before. The liquor is overpriced. I got a cocktail that had sake in it which was refreshing but not worth $15. I opted for the shrimp and fries since it was a "safe" choice. But my food arrived piping hot and looked good presentation wise. Fries could have used a little salt but they were decent but once I bit into the shrimp I was immediately put off by how salty it was. When it comes to fried seafood it's best to not put too much salt on the meat itself because the coating for the batter usually has salt in it already. Whenever something is wrong with my meal depending on how I'm feeling I'll either opt for a refund or I'm cool with them remaking the order. In this case I opted for a refund due me losing my appetite and the server not coming back over until it was time to check out. I let the server know that I can pay for the fries since I ate them but the shrimp was too salty. He looked so uncomfortable but relayed the message to who I'm assuming is the manager. When the waiter came back over he did let me know that they took it off of the bill but next time if there is a similar situation that all sales are final and they can only remake the order. As many establishments as I've been to in my life I have never been told such FOOLERY. That type of a response verses a simple apology and refund irritated me I'm not gonna lie. Won't ever see me in this establishment EVER again so we won't ever have to worry about that happening. Learn simple customer service skills and use common sense when talking to paying customers because impression is EVERYTHING. Glam 104 is located in the same strip of Pho House behind the Taco Bell on Pleasant Hill and Satellite. Upon entry, you'll be greeted with bright pink neon lights and a MASSIVE chandelier. My first thought, "ooh, sparkly!" We were promptly greeted and seated in a private room. The seating area was huge but i guess since it wasn't a Friday, it was empty. I noticed that they have a lot of dishes with cheese/ fondue if you're into that, but overall, a good variety on the menu. They give you chips and queso, pickled radish, and pickle cucumbers (pickles?) to start while you look over the menu. We ordered the Bossam, spicy seafood tteok-bokki, shrimp fondue, and crispy spicy garlic chicken. In my opinion, the bossam was small compared to other places on pleasant hill, it was topped with a thin layer of cheese over a bed of bean sprouts. Personally, it was too much fat for me but I enjoyed the bean sprouts. 6/10 spicy Seafood Tteok-bokki wasn't that spicy. It has a good kick. It was still spicy to some people who can't handle our spice level. It had a good variety of seafood and the rice cakes were soft and chewy very good texture and the sauce was flavorful. So much goodness in one bite. 8/10 Shrimp fondue was cooked on almost like a hotpot pan(?) with garlic bread in the middle and shrimp on top of the cheese. I can't say much about the cheese but our friend loved it. The shrimp was good though. It had so much flavor and paired with the garlic bread, um YUM! 7/10 Crispy spicy garlic chicken. Okay, this one was a little disappointing to me. I like it because it wasn't smothered in sauce and it was super crispy. However, it was just plain chicken. There was no flavor to it. They had the sauce on the side possibly to keep the chicken crispy but the sauce was just a bit sweet to me. I was really expecting something phenomenal, like how Luxor use to have their half chicken. I would give this one a 4/10 for the crunch and for not being drenched in sauce. Service was excellent! We were treated so nicely even though we asked for drinking cups three times, our server was very nice about it. They refill the chips and queso if you run out. I would totally come back for chips and queso. We had the owner come by and check to make sure everything was okay and this is just a super friendly place overall. I've been to some similar establishments where the servers don't even look at you and toss you the menu and just ask rudely "what do you want?" I appreciate being checked on often and they always had a smile on. 10/10! I'll definitely come back to try other things on the menu but this might be my go to place just because of service! Glam is a great dinner spot and karaoke for the evening, bar for the night, and even has a small club-like dance floor that gets more popular as the night goes on. Today I'm talking about the food though. We came here for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night and were able to grab a reservation ahead of time. We got our own private room-- they have options for small and large private rooms, as well as open table area. The food was AMAZING, you can go no wrong with anything on the menu. I recommend the pork katsu+tteokboki and the kimchi fried rice. We also ordered mango fruit soju--THIS WAS SO DELICIOUS and you get real fruit chunks. We went to karaoke afterwards and enjoyed the room with lights, no tambourines in our room though. We were seated in the private room. There are tons of items on the menu, but we ordered Spicy Rice Cake with Pork Cutlet, and Fishcake Soup with Mushroom, and Boiled and Grilled Pork. Rice Cake with Pork Cutlet was probably my favorite dish for the night (maybe because I have a taste preference of a child with two of my favorite foods combined). Rice cake and pork cutlet went surprisingly well with each other but they are just what you'd expect by themselves. Fishcake Soup with Mushroom was very clean and light and it had a subtle spice. It definitely goes along really well with some soju. Lastly, really love the garlic flavor of the boiled and grilled pork and it melts in your mouth. Fried intestine doesn't appear to be cleaned really well. The service was good. I've only had the fried chicken here so far, but based on that alone I'm giving this place a 5 star review. I got the regular fried chicken but asked for the garlic and pepper sauce on the side. It came with some Nachos with cheese dip, pickled daikon, and pickles. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Light and crispy in the outside while juicy in the middle. Is it the best Korean Fried Chicken in the area? No, but that's ok because it's still very good. They also have a full menu of all sorts of things that look tasty. I will eventually come back until i try the entire menu and maybe update my review then. The staff were very friendly. You can get a booth, karaoke room, a table or just not have any table and stand/lounge around in the common area. Glam always didn't start out as a "club" vibe but it eventually made its way after experimenting. Glam is really a great place for extraverted social people, but unfortunately, I'm just not that type of person. I prefer places like Hanshin where you can sit down with just your people and have a few casual drinks. That doesn't undermine Glam's food - Glam's food is really good for bar food, and you should definitely try out their bossam, donkatsu pizza and other food items. If you've lived in Georgia for a long time, you are bound to run into at least one person you know on a weekend night, so if you're looking to connect and have the closest thing to a Korean club experience, Glam 104 is your place to go. read more

Then the service chases us when we are leaving and as we were literally getting into our car, he ran to tell us that we didn't tip ENOUGH. He tried to tell us that we didn't pay enough for the bill, so we gave him a $20 and then he changed his words on us and said it was that we didn't tip enough. Also they charged us $40 for a small bottle of soju, crazy.... Please be aware of your bill because they would take advantage of you. We were offered a private room or regular seating, of course we chose the private room. Super cozy, romantic even. We felt like we were royalty or la mafia. A hidden gem unexpected in a pretty standard strip along a mall on the outskirts of Atlanta. Was worth the slog from Buckhead. Chill vibe, solid DJ, decor is a mix of modern club juxtaposed against 40's glam chandeliers. The menu is busting with hidden opulence as well. If you're a veggie, try the Braised Kim Chi with Tofu. For a white guy I can take a lot of heat, but this Kim chi kicked my hide. It's hot and spicy and the beer won't slow the burn but the tofu (served cold) does the trick. Some of the best Kim chi I've ever had. The cabbage is al dente like a perfect lasagna. If I can bring one thing to an island, I'm gonna bring this. The crowd is a bit hard to crack into initially as a solo guy, but give it five minutes and a couple people will break off and introduce themselves, drawing you into the mix.
