I've been coming to Glamour for about 5 years now and I love them. My girl is Jan and she's amazing. She does my nails really well. I'm usually really picky with nails but no complaints with her. She knows how to use the natural shape of the nails properly and they always look natural. She is also very creative with designs by hand. I do liquid gel. If she can't see me I've seen others and they've been really great too. Just today I switched Blum nails from square to almond, which I've never done and I love them! I was referred to Tracey and went to her 4 times. Full sets start at $45. I had no issue with that she is very good. Think everytime i paid $45 -$55. I went the week 2 weeks ago and Tracey was busy so I went to a guy name Eric. Very good and kind for a full set. After he said the owner will tell u the price. I was confused because I got a regular short full set. The owner told me $70. I ask her why is said I did a power dip. Ahh no I didn't I got regular acrylic. I gave this place two attempts just because everyday isn't a good day, but. This place is a no for me. The first time I went an seen a gentleman named John, he did my ombré nail set. He was sweet helpful and even put together a color I wanted that they didn't have. John (the one in the back not the front) was awesome. Everything else was bad they rush everything you do. When you come in they don't greet you it's "what do you want" and "pick a color". It's like hurry up and pick a color hurry up and finish your pedicure, hurry up I'm trying to get u out of here. Like In the time it took to get a lackluster pedicure your nails are pretty much done. And as awesome as that sounds, it was not. Trust me.Also the prices are terrible. I'm not the person who sets a limit on things that I'm doing for myself. I give myself whatever I can to treat me. I deserve it. So price isn't important for the most part. but quality is and it just isn't it here. It's not happening here. The first time I paid 103.00 before the 20%tip for a pedicure that for 35 dollars was literally clean up your feet slap on some lotion and get out my chair. The 2nd time I spend 155 before a tip for grey toe nails. I asked for them to put some Glitter polish not a design just polish and they charged me 5 dollars for each toe?! Why? And they also charged for the Matt top coat I wanted to put over my gray polish on my hands. I asked for one finger on each nail to be pink again not a design they charged me anyway. I asked for a specific shape and they tried to charge me for that too! And than they didn't even get the shape right anyway! It was crazy. I also got a friend a manicure that consisted of nothing a manicure is suppose to consist of which was tragic. It's a no for me. And I would suggest the same for whoever may be considering going here. There are way to many other good places, there are even to many "I'll settle" places for this to be the first second or third option in my opinion. But, I guess if your truly in a bind, like its the day/night of an event you have to go to and they are literally the only place open than fine. I travel over 45 min to go here and every time I try to cut that inconvenience of driving out there out, I always end up back to Glamour Nails with a set of ugly nails from somewhere else that Jen has to fix for me! Very disappointed. Was excited that there was a nail salon down the street from my house. Always went to Jennifer who was amazing but lately have not been able to get her. Random people doing my mani/pedi. Last visit had a young man do my nails and nails didn't even last. Usually they would last at least two weeks before I would go back. Nails started coming off. Wow bad experience! I was coming in to get chrome and they said it was 78$!!!!! So I didn't get that. I decided to just get acrylic with gel and they said it would be 58 which is fine but every other place it's at most 50, I wouldn't be complaining about the price if they turned out good....but they didn't! Once the lady started doing my nails she mentioned that I had to pay 7 extra dollars because I had TWO nails with gel on them already!!!! What!!!! So I asked why and she got a little mad. This place is huge with a ton of manicure and pedicure stations. This is probably the fifth time I've been here and I've played myself once again. I love getting a pedicure here. It's $25 and they do a thorough job with hot stones and a scrub included. However, the manicures here are the worst. Every time I get a manicure, they butcher my nails. It's like no one knows how to paint the WHOLE nail. My nails came out streaky and so rough around the edges. I hit my hand along my dress in between gel base coat sessions and the woman just kept painting. The place is dirty and on a 85 degree day they set their inside temp to 78. They charged $10 just to take dip off my nails (every other nail salon has never charged a separate $10 fee to take off) and THEN proceeded to try to charge me $70 for Gel Overlay on my natural nails LOL I couldn't help but laugh. I went to another salon in Easton that was very clean and nice and they could not believe they tried to charge me $70, when it should only be $40-$45 . I stopped coming to this nail salon a while ago due to the indifference in price each time I came. I recently started coming back and today my 3rd time being back I came to get a refill, pedicure and lashes... I had an issue with the pricing and asked for a breakdown of price so I can understand why it seems like I am being charged more this appointment than my last and I got more done on my last appointment and my daughter got a pedicure. After breaking down the price the technician completed my nails then asked me to pay before she did my lashes. Upon paying she then asked me to come tomorrow when the other technician would be here because she's not confident in doing my lashes since I wasn't satisfied with my nails... mam I love my nails I had an issue with the pricing and further more she didn't have to play me by asking me to pay before I did my lashes then ask me to come back tomorrow when the other tech was here. Then the owner stated don't be difficult and next time she do for you. VERY unprofessional!! There won't be a next time, they will NEVER get my money again.... and they don't even take their time and make you feel pampered. Without going with my daughter to Glamour Nails to get a fill for my acrylics, my natural nails would have been destroyed and falling off by this time! I blame myself first and the nail salons I went to second. My nails were growing mould! It was disgusting. I had to pay for a brand new set of nails because the other ones ruined. Thank goodness for Glamour Nails and their attention to details. While having my nails redone the technician explained to me exactly what happened and why. She asked me when my last fill was and when I told her just two weeks ago she told me that the person doing my nails should not be doing nails at all. she did not take the time to really look at my and see that they needed attention immediately. So I want to take this opportunity and thank Glamour Nails for saving my natural nails! The only reason that I gave a four-star rating was because the shop was so loud and cramped that I was finding it difficult to hear my nail stylist and had to keep on asking her to repeat herself. They are really bad and will do a very bad job on your nails and over charge you without a care. Every time I go there i have a bad experience or my nails look nothing like the picture i show them. I had a good experience once and it was the chubby guy who didn't have as thick of an accent like the rest of them. He did an amazing job but I haven't seen him there at all. My last trip was really bad they had a girl who had no idea what she was doing do my nails I could tell she doesn't usually do nails she was really nervous and made my nails lop sided and she was taking so long and doing such a bad job that this older lady had to take over and she shaved off so much of the acrylic just to fix what that girl did. I woke up the next day and my nail chipped. When the older lady was doing my nails she said "be careful I make them thin for the natural look" she knew they were way too thin and that they would probably break off very quickly so she tried to pretend she meant for them to be like that. This is a very horrible nail salon. I would never recommend anyone to go there. i went there and the acrylic nails were so thick and heavy that they begun to break off the next day. Immediately I called them back to have them redo it because they were so thick and breaking off .
