Me and my friend got our nails done here for the first time and it went well, although it was busy id say we were helped rather quickly although the only problem I have with the salon is they rush things way too much..I got 4 cuts on my hands bleeding and also have spots messed up on my nails but I might consider retrying and giving the place another go because my nails are very beautiful over all and so is my friends. read more

Keep on driving. I use this place for my pedicure about 2 months ago and they did a horrible job and I vowed to never go back. Well this morning I was waiting for another business to open and I said it's just a polish change they can handle it and I was wrong. I went first thing in the morning and was taken immediately when I arrived. However, the woman who started working on my nails had an appointment show up so she had to ship me off to another person. Honestly I've had my own personal experience here that were less than favorable. I've stopped going there for a while now because their service has changed drastically. They put the bare minimum amount of work on your nails, my nails have ALWAYS lifted when I got acrylics from here. I just had a friend tell me they changed her an extra $20 for just having long nails. All she needed was a refill. He nails are naturally long. She just needed a refill and a file. They didn't shape her nails, they weren't starting from the beginning. And on top of that they didn't even do a good job. Ok, I have to give credit where it's due. They do a really nice job. And they have top of the line products and massage chairs, which is great. However, the manager/owner is VERY rude. She nickels and dimes every customer, and makes a lot of mistakes in regards to requests, because her English is poor. Instead of honoring the mistakes her and her workers make, she belittles and embarrasses the customers. I have experienced this firsthand on several occasions, and have seen her do it to other customers. The reason I keep going back, is the convenient location and the quality of the work. So I went to Glamour nails in Brockton in August 2018 for a manicure & pedicure. I chose the more pricer option of pedicure thinking I would get more. The lady doing my pedicure barely used any scrub on my legs. She continued to do my manicure. My nails were not well filed, were bumpy I even asked her to re-do one only to notice more when I got home. It was so bad I wanted to cry. Don't waste your money here. read more

I had been getting my nails done here for a couple years, but have since stopped. The last 4 times i got a fill ive had nails break within a week. Also they suddenly charge $3 to cut down, which ive never seen a salon do, and $3 if your nails are long. My nails are long but not long enough that in any salon ive ever been charged extra. So either way youre going to be charged. Its bad business. I went to get a mani/pedi last week. Well, I don't know about you but I like to be pampered when I'm getting my nails done. I asked for Chillac Polish and the Vietnamese lady did gel. I guess that's ok except the polish was hideous compared to toe nail color. She said it would match, it didn't and looked weird. I went home and then decided to go back to change the color. She used the drill to remove the gel color and I asked her if it will ruin my natural nails she said no, it's ok. Well, I decided to take the polish off today and my nails are so thin, she did ruin my nails. Ladies please listen to me, this place is a meat market for nails. The only thing they care about is money. It's a rush job and I wonder if nail techs went to school at all. I'm calling inspectors to check it out. Let me start off by saying don't let the nice interior and large collection of colors, distract you from how awful the service is at this place. I paid 30$ for a French pedicure that cake out all uneven and crooked. Then I wanted to change it and they wanted to charge me extra. Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! I first learned about it through a search on here. Although I lived in Brockton for years I was never the type to do mani's and pedi's often so when I started I didn't know where to go. After reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try. Every time I've come here Anna has done my gel manicures and I have never had a complaint. They are so quick and efficient!!!! Most of the time they will do your mani/full set and pedi at the same damn time!!! So if you need to be in and out in an hour or less this is the place to go! What's most important is that not only are they quick they are GOOD!!! I wouldn't go here if you are looking for a long day at the spa as it can seem like you are on an assembly line in a sense. I think what I liked the most was that someone addressed you as SOON as you walked through the door. It was not like other places that you walk into and no one says anything then there is just that awkward silence. Will continue to come here again and again!!! Gel mani and a pedi is only $50!!! Plus they are open 7 days a week!!! This place can be packed at times, but like I said w/their efficiency you are never waiting to long...and if you have to it's sooo worth it! (Side note- i just got these nails done 4 days ago at the same place ) i asked for a pedicure and to fix this one nail. While pedicure was being done, the owner asked me about my nail and stated that she doesn't have the same sparkles as my nail so i must have got it done somewhere else. I said no, i got it done by john 4 days ago. So another girl came over and matched my sparkle with the dip i had done. The girl who matched my sparkle was the one who screwed up my nail completely ! She took a phone call while fixing my nail and made my nail crooked , so i when i brought it to her attention she started to argue back and forth with me saying she just went over what i came in with, which is completely false ! 4 days ago i do not need it to be shaped again ! So crooked nail and they argued with me! And on top of that the owner told me to watch myself for bringing it to the girls attention! How disrespectful ! I would not recommend this nail salon at all for any services! First, I got a full set and the person who was doing them had no idea what they were doing! It took four nail techs to try and make my nails decent. Needless to say I never got another done there. Today, I was in the area and decided to get my eyebrows waxed, HUGE MISTAKE! I went here for the first time two weeks ago..So to start, the decor isn't too bad. Nice wall color, flooring, and all that. It's bright, a lot of lighting, maybe a little too much! It is pretty well kept and clean. The workers didn't talk much so I can't speak on how friendly they are, but there was a man there that looked to be a manager. He was walking around, monitoring everything, and even stepped in when a customer got into an arguement with one of the workers over the paint job on her nails. He seemed very helpful. They have a lot of stations here, more pedicure stations then I've seen in a salon. And every seat was filled. I think it's great that they have so many stations so that the wait isn't too long for a walk-in, but the seats face each other on opposite sides of the room. It was kind of uncomfortable to have to avoid looking straight and staring at someone. A lot of stations also calls for a lot of chemicals. The place smelled strong of nail polish, acrylic, and all the other chemicals they use. They kept the door open, either to air it out or keep it cool, and a few flies got inside because there's no screen door. That took away from the relaxing experience. But what took away the most was having a full set done while getting a pedicure. I wanted to relax and pamper myself. It was uncomfortable to reach across but also dangle my hands because the guy doing my nails wasn't using a table, just holding my hands up. I've seen people get manicures while getting a pedicure, but never a full set. That is just ridiculous. And the place was clean, but all of the dust from the acrylic just fell all over the floor. And the guy set the massage to a painful setting, and I couldn't change it because I was getting my nails done ! It just wasn't relaxing whatsoever and felt so rushed! After drying my nails I noticed the white polish (french) on one finger wasn't thick enough and you could see through, and it also had a purple tint to it for some reason. I asked the guy to just paint over it really quickly. No problem. I didn't notice until after I left that the line was slanted !! So now I have to get a fill this weekend...I don't think I'll be coming back here. The pedicure was done well and the nails not too bad (other than that one exception), but it's just not the experience I'm looking for. read more

Yesterday I got my eyebrows done and she took half of my eyebrow off on the left side and changed the complete shape of both when I asked just to have my brows cleaned up. I told her that she made one side a lot smaller and she didn't apologize or give me my money back. Now I'm stuck with this extremely noticeable half of an eye brow. They left behind spackles of polish on the skin surrounding my nail and the gel coat had bubbles in it from rushing and not completely cleaning the nail before applying the polish. read more

There's that girl I don't know if she's the manager or whatever, I think her name is Jenny or something and she speaks perfectly good English so she knew what she was doing. I have been to the salon about 5 times now and the 4 previous experiences were amazing, the girls were really nice and did a great job. But my last experience that girl Jenny had a shitty attide she litteraly was pushing my hands with such brutality. That bitch, excuse my language, got on my last nerve. It's sad for such great place with great People to have that one foul making the salon loose it's customers. Will never go to that place again and everyone I know going to that place don't go get disrespected while paying their money to that crappie worker. I went a few days ago to, originally, to get a manicure. They convinced me to put tips and assured me that they would look natural. The owner did my nails but rushed through the process because they were closing. The nails ended up being way to thick and completely unnatural looking. I went the following morning and told the owner I did not like them and asked her, respectfully, to remove the nails. While in the process of removing my nails I wanted to confirm I would not be charged. They told me the $60 I paid was for a separate service and this is a different service. Similar to the other review, I must agree the quality of the work is great. They offer pedis to fit any budget or preference, and the chairs are amazing. The workers do good work but the manager/owner rushes them off to help other customers before even finishing with you, then finishes the work herself and does a shoddy job of it. I went in last week for a mani/pedi. The manager put one coat on my nails before applying the topcoat, and less than 2 days later they were chipping and peeling because usually they put on 2 coats before the topcoat. When I called her on it, she had an attitude. Sadly, the fact that I live less than half a block from them makes them so convenient to go to but I might start traveling a bit farther to look for better customer service. read more

Went there this morning (Friday). They open promptly at 9:30 unlike other salons who say they open early but dont show up until they feel like it. Went for a refill, pedi and eyebrows. I sat down right when i went in and immediately started being serviced. No one who came in had to wait. There are enough chairs and enough people who work here so that theres no wait. I was able to get out by 10:45 which is great. I liked the fact that while i got my pedi someone came to do my hands. I like to be in and out the nail salon so this was a plus for me.... my hands came out great. However my pedi looked horrible. Why is there paint on my cuticles? And she put like 4 coats of polish on my big toe so it never actually dried and smudged horribly. ... messy job on my feet. Eyebrows look horrible as the woman doing them rushed so fast. Now i have to wait for them to grow back in. The atmosphere in there isnt very comfortable lots of commotion. They want u in and out dont sit and dry too long because someome else needs to come dry. No one in there is friendly.... strictly business. I tipped although the service is subpar. Im writing this review while im sitting in Lotus Nails where i came to have the hack job fixed and im having a better experience. This is the best place in town! Thye are Vietnamese, so sometimes their English isn'st as good as ours, but they try very hard to please everyone - I know the manager personally and she puts the customer first! What some people take for "agression" or "rudeness" is really just the Vietnamese way of speaking in their own language tone, but in English. The manager is very strict and would never allow customers to be treated badly - I have seen her take over herself when a customer wasn't happy with work done and make it right. Everyone I speak to in the shop as customers loves the place! I am a former Human Resourses Director, so I think I know good service and good emplyees when I see them! I've been to alot of nail shps and this one is the best - I have seen some great designs done here as well - very custom stuff. And the prices are good. I wouldn't even give this place one star because of the management that they have. Jan was rude and unaccommodating. I went in there and I got a manicure and a pedicure. Linda and tu were absolutely fantastic! It's too bad the Manager has no customer service skills. So to the owner Allen if you're reading this I'm very dissatisfied with the customer service that I received here today. My best friend bought me a gift certificate to come here last Christmas. I was very excited to try out a new place and everything was going great up until it came time for me to pay in which Jan refused to accept my gift certificate. Not only did she not accept it but she went to the extent to accuse me of going through the trash. " we rip them and throw them in the trash so you could just be reusing it" Unfortunately it was ripped on the side because my best friend has a six-year-old daughter. It was given to me that way it's not my fault. It's from their business they should honor the gift certificate. So it's too bad they just lost my business and I won't be referring them to any friends. Fact I'll be doing just the opposite telling everyone about what a horrible experience that I had because of the manager. Then I go to pay in full with an American Express gift card and she says we don't accept that. In the end she excepted the American Express gift card that was valued at $25.
