I walked into this nail salon a month a go because I was going to Florida the next day. I got the spa pedicure that and my nails filled. I do have to say I am the biggest pain in the but when it comes to getting my nails done with my ocd and because I do hair . I do have to say my pedicure still looks good after a month later. I have got my nails filled since because I have had the same girl for years. I M going to continue to come here for the pedicure because it was extremely relaxing and have lasted over a month. I would really like to give this place ten 0's ~ they are the worst!! First of all the place does not use liners in their tub for pedicures which I'm sure is a health violation and should notify the Board of Health. Whomever did my gel pedicure did a lousy job and more than 1/2 of my toes came out bumpy~ I was so upset when I got home I called the next day and they told me to come in at 9 because at 9:30 it gets busy ~ I came in at 9 and I could only hear the workers talk in their language as soon as they saw me (how disrespectful!) The guy said wait a few minutes we will take care of you , I sat down where they told me to at the pedicure station and a few minutes turned into 20. Don't tell me to come in at a certain time if you can't take me. My time is valuable and I shouldn't have had to come back if they did the job right the 1st time. So here goes, the lady who could hardly speak English said it's bumpy because of your nails ~ WRONG!! It took 3 people to finish the job and I was a bit annoyed but I thought I left feeling a bit satisfied. A few days later, one by one (7 out of 10 toes) started to crack on the top !! At first I thought the gel was peeling off and I put my finger to touch it , the nail was literally cracked and I could put my finger nail in the gap. This happened to 6 other toes and it was due to whatever they did/used on my toes. I have had many gel pedicures from other places and nothing like this has ever happened. Now I have to wait until my toe nails grow a bit longer in order to go somewhere else to have them fixed. This has already been 3 months of pain from the cracking, worry that it will get worse, and frustration at having to wait for them to grow out. I came in on a Friday morning right when they open and I have absolutely no complaints. It is $50 for a gel mani and a regular pedi, which is $5 more than I would typically pay at a nail salon in Boston but you definitely get your money's worth in that small price difference. I was there as soon as the doors opened so there was no wait at all, and the nail technician took her time and paid extra attention. She was friendly, talkative, and did an amazing job. They also use hot stones for the pedicure which is usually an extra charge other places. Obviously feels amazing. They also used a great smelling citrusy scrub on my hands and feet. The salon is very clean, very modern, and the staff is wonderful. This will definitely be my go to salon in the area. I will try an eyebrow wax next time I go I had to update the review. A day after my gel manicure it began to peel! I am a new mom so having to call and go back to the salon is time consuming and flat out annoying. Additionally, I've gone to cheaper places that have never given me this issue. 2nd update: they were friendly about fixing my nail, but they literally just filed the color a little bit and added another coat over it. My experience here today with T was outstanding. I found the facility to be extremely clean and sanitary care was always done. I was so relaxed and pampered I stayed a little longer for the parafin hand wax after my mani/pedi. I found the atmosphere here to be very calm and peaceful. I had to actually delete my previous review because what I thought was a nice job on my nails ended up being a horror show two weeks later! I wear acrylic nails and have them filled regularly so when I noticed that there was some darkening under my acrylic nails, the lady at Luxury Nails said not to worry about it and told me that it was probably just staining from my polish that I used from home. I feel so stupid for believing her! I mean, yes, I probably should have known better, however, it is her job to understand exactly what acrylic nails can do to my natural nails... they were GROWING MOULD! It's a good thing that I went with my daughter to Glamour Nails in Brockton for my next fill because they noticed right away. I had to get an entire new set. While the woman Glamour Nails was removing my old set she pointed out to me exactly what was wrong and how it happened. I advise everybody reading this to please go somewhere else to have your nails done. There are so many salons in this area and they charge right around the same price. I give them zero stars. Unfortunately i had to give them 1 in order to post review. They make up prices as they go along. They are way over priced. They do bare minimum on the pedicure they skipped the massage & the hot stones. This has happened many times. They rush through it. For my mani i told the girl what i wanted (acrylic) she said NO and gave me a dip, which turned yellow in 1 day. It looked terrible & had to go to a wedding shower like that. Then after a week my pedicure peeled & looked terrible. I pay good $ that I work hard for. I expect good service. They need to understand how to keep their business afloat. Slacking isn't the way. Do your job that's all. Just do your job. You're getting paid & tipped. Don't be lazy. And stick to your prices. A gel pedicure shouldn't be $65 that's outrageous. I was in the area and looking for a nail salon and I'm so happy I stumbled upon this one! I called and was happy they could take me for a fill right away. My acrylic nails were a mess and two had fallen off. Sophia kindly pointed out how my acrylic nails were lifting and removed them. I was so happy she did because the acrylics were discolored. She was going to put on a new set but together we decided it'd be nice to try the dip polish. I'm so happy with the ending result! My nails feel so much healthier and lighter. Favorite nail salon in this area! I've tried many and continue to come back here because of the quality and service. Always so welcoming, they remember my name and always want to know where I've been. I think it's just their way to get me to talk lol Never had an issue with manicure or pedicures. I did however notice that when getting gel my nails become verrrrryyy thin so I've stopped getting gel a long time ago. This has been confirmed by others who have gotten gel so be careful. read more

I have been coming to Luxury Nails for over a year. I will say that everyone here is definitely really friendly, sweet, and always professional. The salon itself is also very well kept, clean, and modern with lots of polish selections. However, the last few times I have visited, the experience has been sub-par. I used to go to one girl here regularly. I was recently told she no longer works there. Since then, I have been making my appointments with whoever is available. The last few times, I have felt rushed in every aspect...picking a color, the actual mani/pedi, etc. I know it isn't a huge deal as long as my nails themselves come out well...but the last few technicians I have had have skipped the scrub and massage components of the mani/pedi entirely, sometimes failing to even put lotion on. I understand that the place is busy, but if I am taking time out of my day and spending my hard earned money for a service that is somewhat pricey, I expect the effort to be 100%. I am not sure if they just thought I wouldn't notice that they were skipping steps or what. The nail in the coffin happened a few weeks ago. I got a gel manicure with a different technician, again. The color itself looked fairly decent (but withsome splotchines and uneven application of color) but the job itself was nothing short of sloppy. The edges were all uneven and jagged and some parts of my nail were not even painted over properly (lots of nail near the cuticle and edges showing). This was just sheer sloppiness and a poor job. To make matters worse, within a few days, my gel manicure (which is supposed to last two whole weeks) ended up chipping and looking like crap. I didn't have time to go back and had to attend a friend's wedding with chipped nails. Luckily it was a light color and not as noticeable. I was irritated but knew that the likelihood of them fixing them was slim to none, so I didn't bother. Between feeling rushed several times and the quality of my last nail job, I will be trying a different nail salon this weekend. Maybe I will go back to Luxury nails at some point, but if I can find another salon that provides quality service every time, I most likely wouldn't bother. read more

I came here as per the recommendation of my fellow yelpers and was not disappointed. The place is super spacious and smells of lotion and clean floors. The massage chairs are brand new and have LED lights on the side of the tub when the jets are going. They offer refreshments as well as to turn on your chair for you as soon as you sit down. 3 of us had a mani pedi here. The place was busy but we had an apointment. Had to wait quite a while. 1 of us did not have gel done. She waited over an hour for us to finish. The gel was awful. Mine was bubbled and look like it had a weeks nail growth. It also chipped in several places with in a week. The other gel nails looked good but also chipped in less than a week. The employees are very nice and the spa pedicure was worth every penny and more! you get twice the massage of a regular pedicure and so much more. Extremely relaxing and enjoyable. If I could give this place zero stars I would. It was a normal day I decided to get my nails done while I was doing laundry so I went into this place that does amazing pedicures btw. I currently have the liquid UV gel nails I wanted to take them off and get the dip powder done so I walk over to the dip powder I pick up my colors and I go sit down because currently everybody's working on somebody else. Cool no problem. So I'm sitting there two other ladies walked in and we're sitting and I know that eventually I'm gonna have to soak my nails so me and the other girl are chatting and I say damn I wish I can soak my nails while I'm waiting but I didn't say anything to the staff I just sat. About 20 minutes later the lady finally walks up to me and tells me to sit down at a station and another lady walks over to me and asked me again what I want to get done. I explain what I want to get done but I make it very clear that I have UV gel nails and not powder acrylic nails. So the lady then proceeds to tell me that she's the only person in this establishment that and remove these nails and that I would have to come back because somebody else was waiting I immediately say no I was here first those girls walked in after me I was already picking out my color I told you guys what I wanted when I walked in and I was very clear about it. Then the lady proceeds to tell me that because of the type of nails I have she can't guarantee that she can't get it all off because she doesn't have the proper materials to get all the gel off my nails. So basically she told me if I got my nails done with her right then and there they'd all be rough and uneven. So I just said no thanks I will go to another place and left. But what I find most unacceptable is all you have to do is file them and soak them in acetone so please let me know what the hell they're using at the salon that they don't have drills and acetone. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a nail salon. I made an appointment over the phone for a gel manicure. They closed at 6 and I asked if I could make an appointment for 5. The lady over the phone said yes and that she would see me then. I made it to the salon about 10 min before my appointment and sat down to pick out a color. A woman approached me about 3 mins later, and told me she could take me now but I told her I hadn't picked a color yet (there were about 50+ color choices which I was very happy about) and needed some more time. 3 mins after that she approached me again and TOLD me she was taking me now cause they were closing and she needed to get started. I told her I just needed the polish change and that she didn't even need to file or clean my nails. I figured that I was making her life easier... But no she wasn't happy with that so I politely handed her the container and told her I would come back another day when they weren't so busy. And I would have, had she not said something while I was walking out and laughed. I then asked to speak to their manager and told her how I thought I had been treated rudely. You would think that she would try her best to calm the situation seeing as I was a new customer but instead she said that she was the one who would asked the woman to grab me multiple times. At that point it had just turned 5 o'clock... I left and went down the street to a nail salon called Vivian's Nail and Spa and was treated 1000 times better. read more

I loved this place when I started going and went religiously every two weeks for gel manicures, spent alot of money here but after a bad experience with horrible attitudes from the girls working there I started going elsewhere months ago. Well I went back in today with my sister in law for pedicures cause we both had gift certificates, what horrible service!! Called and made appointments a day ahead for the two of us. My pedicure was DONE before they started on her and then hers was rushed cause I was sitting there waiting. What's the point of making appointments if you don't tell walk-ins you can't take them cause you have people that actually made appointments ahead of time!?!? So rude. I was hoping not to have to write a bad review and actually tried resolving this with the staff but to no avail. I went to the salon last night with my daughter-in-law and grand daughter for a girl's night out. My granddaughter is almost three and is a pretty good kid and not disruptive at all. I felt from the start that we were rushed. When polishing my toes; no toe separators were used (she actually polished my feet barefooted) and after the polish was on; tried to put my sandals on and ended up with their plastic food covers.. There was no "great pedi" experience as I have had at other salons. The towels were really hot and mine had to be removed. Well, my daughter in law just sent me pictures of blisters on her toes from the towels. My mani (fill) was done really quickly...fill and pedi completed in less than 1 hour!!! My nails have bare edges showing and there is polish on the skin on my feet. I am used to having the great foot massage, pumis stone, you know, the relaxing treatment. Here is the response I get when I called the salon this morning: "We need to see the blisters"...I sent a picture... "Both feet would be be burned"...My daughter-in-law, when having the first towel placed, yelled out, they removed the towel...hence only one foot got burned... "You should have told us last night"...really, as we were being rushed out...I also, did tell her the edges were not good and she fixed one..I sent her pictures this morning of the others with no resolution. Honestly, at this point in time I am asking for a refund but have been told they are too busy to talk and can they call me back!!! WOW talk about not so great customer service. If I could figure out how to post a picture I would post the picture of the burn blisters on my daughter-in-law's toes...may be having to contact a lawyer...which I would hate to have to do when a refund would be reasonable at this point in time. read more

I am really happy with the end product- the woman that helped me knew what she was doing and really took her time. The one thing I don't like, and the reason I gave this place 3 stars instead of 5, is that they asked more than once if I wanted to get any other services- specifically a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. My philosophy is that if I go to a place like this and ask for a specific service, that's the only thing I want... nothing more. If I want other services, I'd ask. Everything else about this place is great- just be careful because they will be persistent in asking about other services. read more
