I've been going to Kim's salon for years with my two daughters. Went tonight for a pedicure and it was the worst experience ever. It was clear from the start that this tech had little to no experience. The owner even came over after he did one foot and did the other one herself. She knew he did a horrible job. When I complained and asked for credit for next time, Kim said why.. he worked hard for you? I pointed out how one toe was cut shorter than other and she blamed me for having short toe nails! HE cut the one big toe short! My cuticles still look awful. In the end she offered $5 credit next time.. I said no thanks... will NOT be back. First off this place was super hard to find. I used Yelp to give me directions and it said I arrived when I was no where close. This is right off 99W and south of the Bedmart by the Gym at the end. Kim helped me, she was good. I was kind of upset they were out of the color I wanted to match my toes but it ended up being ok. She did a good job, she was slow and precise. Only reason for the 3 stars is because it took almost an hour for a mani (I had naked nails to start), out of the color I wanted and difficult to find. read more

I went to get a simple pedicure and I chose white nail Polish because I wanted a bright pink flower. I showed it to the owner before she chose which nail tech to give me. The nail technician attempted at a flower couldn't make it so instead of changing the color, I just had her do poka dots on the big toes, made it easier for her and I didn't have time to mess with another color. After the nail Tech got done doing the poka dots she even said that it didn't look that great and I said just leave it I have to go back to work. They still charge me $5 for a crap job. I told the owner that is not even what I really wanted, but she didn't care, she did'nt care that I didn't like the polka dots either.. I know $5 isn't a lot but, its the principle. Any good owner/customer service would not have charged and apologized. My right toe was cut too short and the tips of the bigs toes are even jagged. There are far too many nail places to settle for a place like this. If they can't make it right, move on. Luna nails is on top of their customer service, just regretting I didn't cross the highway go get my pedi there. I'm so tired of settling and spending my hard earned $$ on services like this, this is why I am reviewing this place in hopes that you don't spend your hard earned $ there. read more

I've been to Luna nails for 8 years now, but since they moved locations and got new staff I've only had bad experiences there. So I came to Glamour after reading some great reviews and I can see why they got a good reputation! I came for a shellac pedicure, then after they told me how much it would be ($42) I changed it to a regular pedicure ($27). I though it was really nice of them to confirm the price ahead of time, unlike Luna who would surprise you at the end (which has happened to me.) On top of that, Yen did a wonderful job on my toes!! The massage on my shins and calves was also very exfoliating which was exactly what I needed. And I have sensitive soles, so she was very light when removing the calluses. I was wearing black nail polish beforehand and there was still some leftover black polish which is why it's not a 5 star review, but still pretty good. read more

I would give this place no stars if I could! They just did a fill on my daughters nails and it looked worse than anything I have ever seen. The owner was rushed and rude and then had the nerve to charge me 22 dollars for the worst nail job I have ever seen. On top of that, another worker in there was sick and sneezing without covering her nose, and blowing her nose constantly without ever once washing her hands. Kim has been my nail tech for months and she is very talanted. She does great art work and it is so hard to find someone to do art. It clean and everyone is friendly. She listens and my nails always come out perfect everytime. She can do shelac with acrylic extensions, also she has done solor nails for me. This place is not good! Went in for a deluxe pedicure and it took them less than 40 min. The first massage chair I sat in was partly broken(only the seat and lower back worked). I asked if I was using it right and the lady just looked at me and blew me off. I kept trying to work it. Then finally told her again it was broken so she offered to switch me. The second one was almost as bad. It made a horrible noise the whole time and kept getting stuck in the same spot. All the chairs were torn. The pedicure itself was just average. My daughter (10) and I went in to get our nails done. I wanted a fill and a flower design (I provided a picture and was told "Yes I can do that, no problem") The lady (Kim I think?) got out her drill and began speeding through, chopping up my cuticles, filing half my nail to one side, and she didn't even get all of my nail polish off from my last fill. The whole process took her maybe 10 minutes, it was sloppy, there was glue all over my hands and under my nails, the paint job was something that didn't look like a professional would have done. She pushed me off to the next lady that was to do my toes, and I asked her if my nails could be fixed. She called Kim? over and she began telling me that my nails look bad because of my nails.. and that next time I should see Jenny. :-| really? She took no accountability and when she "Fixed" my nails she filed the under side of the tip so close to my skin that it burned. On top of all of that, when we were getting our toes done, the new lady started asking my daughter "where your daddy at?" WTF?!?! #1 my daughter doesn't know her dad. #2 why the hell did she think it was okay to even ask something that was NON OF HER CONCERN!?... When I went to pay for a very awful service I was again slapped in the face with shock at the price they charged. $50 for a Childs basic mani pedi (No flowers) Anywhere else it's $25! Then they charged me $50 for my pedi and $70 F'ing dollar for S**T Nails! $170 for awful experience, cut up cuticles and nails I had to fix myself at home, and cover up the ugly design. First of all this is NOT a hair salon! This salon is horrible. They do not even understand their own gift certificates! I bought my Daughter-n-Law a pedicure and also included the $5 tip with it so a total gift certificate for $30, meaning regular pedicure for $25, and then a $5 tip for the person doing it, right?! NO, they looked at the gift certificate and told her to sit down..so then ended up giving her a deluxe pedicure, and charged her $10 more. So when she came home, I called them and the person actually argued with me that I was wrong, and I told her no, your wrong, she gave you the certificate and you performed what was on the gift certificate, she says no, I did deluxe, and I said then that is your fault, not hers. Just got the worst service of my life at this place. I have been getting my nails done for years. I told the lady that she cut them too short and that I was not happy with how my nails turned out and j would like to get them fixed. She told me the color was on so she can't fix them that I had my chance. I don't like to tell a lot of people but I am half way deaf so it's hard for me to understand or hear people a lot of the time. I told her I wasn't happy before the color was put on. She didn't care and even said that to my face and proceeded to charge me $40 for a fill. This was ridiculous. I have never had worst service in my life. Needless to say I will never be going back and I would never recommend anyone going to this place to get their nails done unless you want bad service and a bad product. read more

Horrible pedicure! I got the upgraded pedicure and it was nothing special. The girl rushed through and was done in less than 30 min. I was getting stressed out by how fast she was going. Thought she was gonna cut me and she did hurt me a couple times. Didn't clean under nails or cut the cuticles. Polish was all over my toes and had to ask another girl to clean it and polish was uneven and has streaks. She went too fast and put the top coat before letting the color dry a little. There were people there before I sat down and I was done way before them. Lady also got up and went to wax someone's eyebrows that walked in after me. They are all about the money here and not good services. The gal also started cleaning the bowl out while I was still sitting in the chair letting my toes dry. Will never go here again! Also the massage chair was run down and made loud noises, think it was broken. This place is not in good shape. Looks old and out of date on the inside. This place is a joke!!! A small salon and not very fancy but their quality and commitment to loyal customers make it worth it. Initially wandered in because my other nail salon, Sherwood's Four Seasons, had grown a little too crowded for me. Often, I could not get a walk in and my nails were being rushed to the point that they were poorly done and not worth the inflated pricing. Glamour is a lot smaller, but they offer so much more artistically. In particular they offer amazing nail art for manicures, shellac and arcylics. The head woman has a large stack of photos to choose from that offer all kinds of designs from flowers to polka dots to geometric shapes. Similarly, they have a lot more shellac, tip, and fake nail colors than many other salons I've been to. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and they are great at taking care of regular customers and walk ins. For instance, I had only about 20 minutes to get a fill done before work one day and I called in to set up an appointment for when they opened. Despite being a few minutes late to open, they ushered me in and set a timer. My lady worked hard to get it done on time without forsaking the quality and I walked out in 18 minutes with great nails! The only downfall would be that for more complicated art you often have to have it done by the head lady, which could mean a wait if you do a walk in. read more

I was getting married March 1st. We talked to the manager a few weeks prior and asked if they could open a little bit early since we had a lot of bridesmaids that wanted to get their nails done. And she said it would be no problem. I called a few days before to make sure she remembered.We showed up for our appointment at 9:00am. The time we had agreed on. Nobody was there. We waited 20 minutes and they didn't show up. I asked one of my bridesmaids to wait and sit until they showed up. They came when they were supposed to open. So I told my bridesmaids to go in and get their nails done. Other customers were coming the same time. So my girls had to wait to get their nails done even though they told the ladies that we had appointments. They left and went down the street to Vivd Nails. We have never gone back to Glamour because who knows if we will actually get our nails done when they say it is our turn or not. read more
