Came out and attempted a repair when it was raining. Apparently it's common knowledge that the resin won't cure/bond if there is moisture around the crack. I should have been told this and would have scheduled for a different day. The repair didn't work. He still took the $ and I find out once it fails there is no going back a second time. Safelite repair Safelite replace. Little did I know that meant that if Safelite puts their hands on your windshield, you will likely need to buy a new windshield because they will make the damage worse. Long story short: skip Safelite, and go with Cesar. He fixed what Safelite made worse on my windshield two years ago when all other places wouldn't attempt to re-repair it and advised me to get a new windshield instead. Two years on, and the fix is holding up as well as it did when Cesar repaired it. Got a chip in another location of the windshield. I had a star shape chip on windshield a week ago, I attempted to fix it by using a 20$ repair kit I bought from Amazon. It didn't work, because the cracks are not exposed to air, the resin can't go through it. I contacted cesar and get windshield fixed on the same day. He arrived on time, and spend like 30 minutes to fix the glass. He got professional tools like UV light and vacuum tube. I called Cesar yesterday after not being able to schedule with another larger company. He answered the phone right away, was very nice and gave me a competitive quote to repair my daughter's windshield. He said he could come to my place of business at 8am the next day (today) and I agreed to meet him. He asked me if I could text him the address and time of the appointment. I did that right away. I texted him first thing this morning and let him know we would be there at 8:15 instead of 8am. It is now 730pm and he never called, never texted and never showed up.
