I had to take time off work. McConnell knew this. McConnell cancelled my appointment and gave me no effective advance notice; they let me know when I walked in the door for the appointment. It's 30 miles round-trip to their business. They have almost no customer wait area. There were thunderstorms in the area but when I arrived McConnell was open, customers going in and out of their business. The tint business next door and other area businesses, all open. Weather cleared up nicely as I drove home. I attempted to reschedule the install, but after a series of emails, it became clear McConnell was not trying to accommodate reschedule. They implied they might not refund my deposit. Finally, I quit playing their games and cancelled. They wasted my time and I lost a $20 tint deposit because of them. At least in this instance, they act like customer service, they could care less.

We're now in early January '26. Service was rendered prior to Thanksgiving '25. I cannot recommend doing business with any outfit that refuses to simply recontact a customer over an ongoing concern given that length of time to address the matter.
