When I walked in, there was a really strong smell of cleaning products. The donuts even had a hint of that chemical smell in their taste! I'm not sure if it was the packaging or the actual donuts, or that the scent was so strong that it affected the taste of everything. The first time I came here a couple years ago, the donuts were great and fresh, but the last couple times I've been a little disappointed. They have a good selection of flavors and the donuts are more dense and bread-y/cake-y if that's what you prefer but I usually like a lighter, airy donut. Besides the off-putting smell of strong chemicals, the staff here is always really friendly and helpful. And the store is really clean, I'll give it that - but I would prefer to not taste that in my donuts. Luckily I only got two, instead of a whole box this time. read more

Donuts were all tasty. The owner was kind enough to prepare two donuts while we were there and gifted us with donut holes. They were delish! Loved the apple fritter, the salted caramel, M&M vanilla, Horchata and churro, red velvet, cinnamon sugar twists strawberry shortcake. All very yummy. Our family really enjoyed them all. They have so many fun and unique flavors, and I always find us going back to try more because they aren't overly sweet - the churro we got today is our new favorite, right next to the white chocolate with pearls and nuts on top. I decided to stop by Glaze for the first time. For a whopping $18 I got 5 "fancy" donuts and 1 classic donut. Got 2 matcha pistachio, 1 lemon poppyseed, 1 peanut butter oreo, 1 churro, and 1 classic cake. The donuts were typical donuts. Nothing like the delicious quality of Blue Star in Portland or our very own Mazzoa. My favorite was the cake donut, which happened to be the cheapest one. The churro piece on the churro donut was stale. Lemon poppyseed and matcha pistachio were mild in flavor. I didn't try the peanut butter oreo. Worth the price? Definitely not. I'd rather go to Mazzoa. Or go to a real bakery and buy a fancy cake. I came 10 minutes before closing. The apple has a nice cinnamon back and just enough glaze. So the doughnuts are great, but Dominic (the owner) greeted us, engaged us, we had a nice conversation and felt valued as a customer.
