It always seems busy enough to keep orders moving quickly. The staff is mostly young, and unlike many places, they're still friendly and polite, which adds to the experience. If I decide to cheat on my diet, their vanilla ice cream is my go-to--it's so good that resisting it is the real challenge. The restaurant is always clean. Even though I usually stay for a maximum of 30 minutes, I consistently see employees cleaning both inside and outside, showing that this location is well-managed. There's plenty of seating, and the music isn't too loud, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stop. I'm giving this place 4 stars only because they're not open 24 hours anymore. They now close around 10 PM, but I think they should go back to their 24-hour schedule--it would make them an even better option for late-night travelers like myself.

We've been there at least ten times and only once was the service slow. It was an anomaly because they're usually really on top of things. Ambiance is a friendly, but upscaled downtown cafe/bar place that is perfect for taking out-of-towners or a fun brunch with the ladies. (They have a separate brunch menu on Saturdays!) I don't drink, so I can't comment on their drink selections. I'm taking away a star because the parking situation is annoying, especially during construction. There is street parking or a huge parking lot in the back. However, the back parking lot is a terrible hodgepodge of concrete and asphalt and a gazillion potholes and no super clear direction on how to get to the restaurant. Some signage would go a long way in helping customers to not only find parking, but once parked, to them navigate back to the little crevice where the back door is located. The back porch is located behind a larger portion of the structure and you can't see it from the parking lot. Additionally, if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues, it's next-to-impossible to park near enough to the door to make a difference. The handicapped parking spots are 40 yards away from the back door. All that said, we will def go back because there's nothing else like it in the area.
