Good morning Yelpers! I arrived to this location 5:50am and it's really open! Make sure to go to 316 E Maple as the original location 715 S Glendale is incorrect. The bakery smells amazing from the street. I was greeted warmly by Scarlett. I asked for her breakfast recommendation and she brought out a Matnakash. It's amazing! There's a wonderful texture to this bread. It came out warm and fresh. I also had an Apple Pie(day-old) and was not bad. They don't service the pies and some other items until 10am. I see other patrons visiting and leaving with multiple bags of Lavash! I had to order a Rye Lavash to make wraps. I'll definitely be back! read more

They're still serving up fresh bread 24/7! Came here around 3AM at night and picked up some small baked goods (cheese boreks, meat boreks, apple pie) & a matnakash bread. The entire neighborhood always smells delicious at night because of Glendale Fine Bakery. Everything in our little haul was tasty and fresh baked. Puff pastries were buttery, light and airy. Matnakash was soft and chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. According to their business info on Yelp, the late night entrance (after 10PM) is located at 316 E Maple Street. You can walk into the bakery from the 316 E Maple Street entrance, there's a small parking area out front. They had a new price list posted on the glass counter (please see photos). Buying your Barbari bread for a couple of years now. WAS ALWAYS FRESH, GREAT. In the last 2-3 months, I buy the Barbari, but can't eat it. It's old, crumbles if toasted, it smells moldy and -old. Not sure what's going on...ive tried to call 1818-2400229, but no one answers, no voicemail. Verry odd. You just lost a good customer...also, all my friends saying the same: something is wrong. Just moved to Glendale and was craving nice bread for my sandwich. Came to location provided by yelp and they moved the entrance to "715 Glendale ave" which is okay because it wasn't that far. I walked in the market and it was really nice and clean. I was confused though where I should find the bread but happily the cashier appointed me to it. The matnakash is where it's at. It will mold after ~5 days, because there are no preservatives in it. I recommend cutting and freezing what you don't plan on using in the first few days. read more

The bread itself is decent bread, but the conditions and the work environment in the bakery place? Terrible. Behind closed doors where the bread is being made, there is no sanitation at all, with some employees even going to the bathroom, CLEANING the bathroom and then coming back to make some more bread. Besides from workers having no sanitation , the employer himself is not someone to be fond about. He is a selfish and unfriendly man who treats his workers like they are property, makes the work for hours and hours after each other & pays them a terrible wage. Next to Glendale Fine Bakery is also a new Market, known as Maple Market, opened up by the same employer. The products from that Market are not fresh & taste terrible, along with moody workers who don't care about your satisfaction. read more
