Car care in LA is super challenging and they are like one of the only places that I have found that does not constantly upsell you on completely unnecessary services that are not remotely close to what your car's owner's manual says. I needed an oil change and it was getting pretty late but these guys were open and I stopped by. I honestly wasn't expecting much but they delivered so much more. I pulled up to Jiffy Lube right across the street. There was only 1 car ahead of me and there were 3 lined up across at Glendale Lube Center. I felt good knowing I would be in and out quickly. However, it took 15 minutes just to get acknowledged by the staff. In that time, 2 of the cars across the street had already gone through the queue. I decided in that moment to drive across the street to Glendale Lube Center. I was in and out in 10 minutes and the 3 people who instantly started servicing my car were beyond nice. Eric is a Superhero! I bought a new car 5 years ago (yes right before the pandemic!) and It only has 29,600 miles on it. The dealership charges me for my oil changes now and they recommended and said I needed my brake fluid exchanged. because you do when you drive a lot or reach 30,000 miles they say. I found Eric for an AMAZING price and came into the shop. He was honest and looked under the hood and informed me my brake fluid was clear and no exchange was needed! Their prices have been going up over the last few years but I kept going because they were fast and it's the cost of the times. Last time I went I paid $110 for an oil change but while they were charging my oil the owner was loudly talking to another person and they were clearly pro MAGA. The owner did not change that customer and before anyone says maybe they knew each other they didn't, they introduced themselves to each other. I am never taking my car anywhere else. The service is fantastic, even showing up at 5:30 PM when people are getting off work they got through the line surprisingly fast. The mechanic, Maria, was really knowledgeable and answered all our questions without ever being condescending, and let us know when a service wasn't actually necessary yet. Maria also noticed that the transmission oil needed to be changed, which we never would've spotted. She even took the time to show us what our oil looked like compared to new. The prices were pretty pretty good, especially considering the aforementioned quality of service. A word of warning, if your transmission oil needs changed, Maria let us know the technician for that leaves around 4 PM. They also do free brake check, and you don't need to request it. read more
