This morning the handle on my 1970s 5ft sliding glass door handle had one of the bolts strip out. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's but didn't find anything and barely found anyone to help me. Then I remembered Glendora window and screen has been around for many years and that they might have some old handles in stock. I drive across town and they are open. So I walk in and I'm greeted by I think the owner Anthony with a big smile and a fist pound (Thanks Covid-19). He asked what I needed and I showed him the old handle and he asked jokingly if I could bring him anything within the last decade. LOL He took my old handle and went back to the screen and glass door parts and found one that would work. It's not exactly the same but the bolts lined up and would work for what I needed. I asked him how much and he said $5. I open my wallet and all I had was $100 bill. I said I would be right back because I only had $100 and he said no problem it was only $5 and that it was on him today. I thanked him we first bumped and I left. I got home and fixed my door. What a GREAT experience...from beginning to end. Anthony was vey professional and prompt with ALL phone calls, getting his guys out to get an estimate and getting the work done. I cannot be more happy with Danny and the other gentleman that came out. (I forgot his name). They were SO GREAT with both of my dogs which made me feel incredibly comfortable having them in my home. They fixed both a double paned window on a French door and also replaced all the seals around my shower doors that were installed (poorly) by another company.
