They did an excellent job of ensuring the packaging was airtight for maximum freshness. And amazingly the salmon had not bones. I have no idea how they did that. The salmon, as was all the other fish, absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is that none of it was labeled. The outside of the box indicated what might be in the box to give us some clues, but that was it. But since I was a gift, and a lovely one, I can't complain.
