When we ordered we wanted plain water . No water was served until my hubby went to the registered and took them out cups . 10 minutes later the lady comes out with cold water for us . My husband got his foot after a 30 minute wait . Where is mine I thought . Nope she forgot to cook my food . I went up the re registered and asked where my food was she said oh I thought you and your husband were going to share . I said no I ordered mine different she said . WOW!!! This place is amazing!!! I come here all the time for my lunch and I'm always happy with their service and food. I need to wait about 10 min for my plate, but I'm telling you it's worth it because they make it fresh. Since I want to save time I just call ahead and my order gets ready even before I get there. I tried their chicken kabob plate, it is awesome. You get a lot of rice, salad, onions, grilled tomato and pepper. I also ask for a garlic spread with my order, it goes really good with the chicken and bread that comes with it. And all this is only for $7.99. Lots of food for only this much money. This small restaurant is perfect for private get-togethers. I had 25-30 guests and it was a problem to find a restaurant for a privet party if you have less than 50 guests. I finally found Glenoaks Kabob House and all my guests were sooo happy. The food was delicious! BBQ, kabobs, salmon plate, special order salads and appetizers!! I ordered 50 kabob wraps for takeout for a family potluck and we were very happy with the quality and flavor. Everyone was asking where I had bought the kabob wraps from. Glenoaks Kabob House uses a mayo yogurt based sauce in the wraps that's so delicious. The kabob is juicy and perfectly seasoned. When I asked her for a recipe she laughed and said ' she has trouble printing out recipes' We waited for 20 mins for the recipe and we thought it was unusual how long she was taking When we went inside she acted clueless but I mentioned the amount was not accurate to what we had ordered It turned out she was over charging us and expecting us not to realize it Her excuse was that the items on the menu was not in the system, so she was charging us for a item that we didn't even order which was more in price Then her other excuse was that paying cash was cheaper than card, and she still never showed us the recipe , I asked her we would pay cash instead and she rudely wrote on the void receipt that ' cash was cheaper' on the reason why we wanted to pay cash instead which is extremely unprofessional and rude I eventually told her the item amount she was charging us STILL wasn't the same amount that was on the menu She eventually voided the hummus stating it was ' nobody fault ' when it was clearly her scamming people for extra bucks We will not be returning to this restaurant So make sure you check your receipts and the menu because I'm sure she does this often and it's not fair to the people that pay without checking
