    Chicken pita sandwich

We were visiting Burbank on vacation and decided to try Knight Greek and Mediterranean--and wow, are we glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The customer service here is truly something special. Our server, a kind and attentive young man, made sure we knew exactly what we were ordering and answered all our questions with patience and a smile. Later, the chef (or maybe the owner?) came out personally to check that we were enjoying our food--such a thoughtful touch. I ordered the salmon combo with Greek salad and lentil soup, and every component was absolutely perfect. The salad had a seasoning blend that gave it a rich, savory flavor you just don't get at most places--definitely not your standard, tossed-together salad. The lentil soup? Hands down the best I've ever had. I've tried it at many Mediterranean spots across the country, and this one blew them all away. My whole family ended up sneaking spoonfuls! Even the rice was full of flavor, not just a filler side. Our son (11 years old) got the chicken pita sandwich and loved it. It came out gyro-style and was perfectly seasoned and fresh--he said it was "the best sandwich ever," and he's not easy to impress. We're already talking about coming back again before our trip ends. If you're in Burbank and craving real, flavorful Mediterranean food made with care and served with genuine hospitality--Knight is the place. Absolutely recommend!

Tried this place recently and was so good! The service was great and the food was amazing. I got the falafel wrap and my friend got the chicken wrap. Was super flavorful and moist! Definitely coming back here again. Reasonably priced too!

We came in on a Friday. It's a cute, small family owned business with the nicest people! They are able to seat larger parties but most of the tables were for small groups. $4.50 special greek beer!! Knights Combo: DELICIOUS! Everything on this plate was made fresh, juicy, and delicious. This came with pita bread (grilled), and either a salad or the most delicious lentil soup i've ever had!

I was craving a Lamb Gyro and placed an online order for Knight's. I also ordered a Chicken Gyro and Greek Chicken Salad. All was packed and very delicious. The Lamb was mild and not gamey at all.

Food is amazing. I asked for a beef like kebab that it was two kebab and they changed it for one chicken and one kebab. They have summer drinks and table outside.

I decided to stop by and have lunch at this place, I was greeted warmly by the owner as I walked in, the inside was nicely decorated and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. He mentioned that they have been operating to over 20 years, They menu selections was varied , I ordered their Pork chop plate and their portions were huge. They were attentive to my needs. I saw several families come in to eat, they have plenty of room. If you happened to be in the area and want to eat Mediterranean food, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

The food was delicious! the meat was tender and juicy, portions were generous, and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommend

I've gotta say, this was a highlight of my trip from Las Vegas to Burbank for two days. I was brought into the restaurant before I even stepped inside. The gentleman up front (possibly the owner), Greko (sorry if I butchered that) came outside to my wife and I as we were looking at the menu, deciding if we wanted to eat there. Asked if we had any questions, and said he had a table ready for us, even though after we told him we were taking it to-go. And we did mention to him that my wife had a tomato allergy, so we wanted to make sure whatever we ordered, was made without tomato's. We walked in, and it seemed like just the right mom and pop shop. Greko was behind the counter being friendly and ready to take our order, the cook behind him preparing to make our food, and the overall feel of the restaurant just felt.. Right. And before we told him our order, he turns to his cook and says, "For this order, no tomato's. It's an allergy." That right there really stood out, ensuring us that he heard us, and let the cook know before he even started making our food. We order, pay, and he tells us a quick story that really just, gave us a peek into his life. That may not be important to most people looking for food, but he was genuine in life, and was genuine in making sure our visit there was perfect. Now, the food. Probably the best Greek food I've ever had in my life. I had the lamb burrito and wow. That's all I can say. Wow. The lamb was tender and tasty, the onions were sautéed to perfection, and the hummus was delicious. My wife had the falafel burrito and she was blown away by the taste as she devoured it. This place is worth every penny. And if you see Greko, be sure to ask him about the Maxima he bought in 1994 with cash, it's a good story. 10/10.

We ordered two wrap combos. Loved the presentation and the taste. Everything from the hummus and Tzatziki sauce. Our waiter Diana was lovely as well! 10/10. Highly recommend this hole in the wall

Located in the de facto exterior food court of the Burbank Airport (right outside the entrance,…read morewhere everyone stops before or after a flight to grab something to eat), George's has to compete against a bunch of corporate heavy hitters: Del Taco, McDonald's, Denny's, Panda Express, etc. It can't be easy for a privately owned spot, where the rent is probably sky high, and where there were precious few customers inside at the height of lunch hour on a Thursday (they all seemed to be at the other restaurants). That may account a bit for why the lady at the counter and the guy doing the cooking (I assume the owners) seemed to be in a sour mood. They weren't overtly unpleasant, but wouldn't win any awards for friendliness either. The space is roomy and well-maintained, with the usual Hellenic decor of fast-casual Greek places everywhere. The menu is fairly broad, with pita sandwiches, plates and salads, plus a large selection of mezze. The problem is, as others have mentioned, the prices are awfully high for fairly routine Mediterranean dishes that can be found all over the city. I had planned on getting a Greek salad with Gyro meat, but the $22 cost seemed kind of crazy -- and upon checking, the same dish at Joe's Falafel in Studio City is $6 less. Again, it may have to do with the rent, but nonetheless I didn't go for it. Instead, I ordered the Gyro Pita and a drink (also overpriced, but better). To be fair, the sandwich was generous, the veggies fresh, and the tzatziki sauce cool and tasty. The Gyro meat could have been hotter, but was freshly sliced, juicy and had good flavor. It was an enjoyable sandwich, and the atmosphere was fine. I should also mention that -- somehow -- this little place has gotten themselves a liquor license, and they have a full bar available. If I had a long layover, I might come out here for drinks instead of hanging at the airport bar. And maybe that's it. Maybe this isn't a place for locals passing by in their day-to-day and looking for a quick bite. Perhaps it's really for travelers coming and going from the terminals, who are already in the "airport prices" mode. If that's you, then you'll definitely get better food at George's than inside the airport or at any of the adjacent chains sharing the parking lot... and for that I wish these folks well.

Every single dish was packed with flavor. The beef and chicken shawarma were delicious, and the luleh and chicken kabobs were so tender and juicy. All of the sides and appetizers hit the spot! The hummus and baba ganoush were great, and they serve the best falafel I've ever had (super crispy on the outside, and not dry at all). I also tried grape leaves for the first time today and I'm actually addicted... On top of the phenomenal food, the owner, Silva, was such a sweetheart and kept checking in on us to make sure we were having a great experience. This is easily one of the best spots around. Highly recommend!
