2 adults 1 child .. paid for golf and escape room. Escape room didn't work so we wasted our money. Started golfing and had to wait for 3 sets of golfers in front of us. It was hot in there one and the kids in front of us were hitting the golf ball like a baseball. So the family in front of us got upset and left which I don't blame them because they had a little one. Really sweet addition to Riverside! Glo is a miniature golf course with a twist located in the Tyler Mall. I haven't been miniature golfing (or life size golfing) in years, so I quickly bookmarked this spot after seeing it on Yelp. We stopped by on a Saturday night to play a round of golf in the dark. Each hole is designed as a country, and gets more challenging as you move through the course. You have a choice of playing with up to six players, but I would suggest splitting into teams if you have a larger group so you don't hold up the players behind you. While Glo is largely kid focused I do think it was a ton of fun as an adult. Hopefully this is something they take into consideration in the future and add in a much needed bar! This was supposed to be the original plan, mini golfing here but upon inspecting the layout in person. We opted to find an alternative. Although they offer 27 holes, each was so tiny and not much creativity with elevations and difficulty. The area looked very outdated and I couldn't justify paying $10 for it. Luckily there was a much better one at Castle Park for more or less the same price. We ended up going there. They even had 4 courses of 18 holes (72 holes!) to choose from with lots of various themes, difficulty, and elevations. The only unique thing here they offer is their glow in the dark theme but that's about it. Not going to pay this kind pricing for it. There's no dispute on which mini golf course has the better value/experience between this one and the one that Castle Park offers. read more

I am actually very disappointed in my experience here at GLO mini golf. First off the location is very difficult to find as the navigation leads us to the opposite side and nowhere near the GLO mini golf. In addition, when arriving at the destination, the instructions to the escape room were not clear. For example, the goal is to escape in 10 minutes which is ridiculous especially with all the puzzles to solve. 10 minutes wasted of my day as I was not even able to enjoy the atmosphere of being there. read more

I went on a Tuesday afternoon. First off I was having a bad day and I went to this place because it was near the mall. One of the workers Ernesto a kid with blonde hair , treated and gave me the best experience for my first time for mini golfing. One the activities they had, were the video games they have in the corner and the mini golf. From my first time being there Ernesto gave me a tour and even play one of there escape rooms which was fun. One of their best workers in my opinion and definitely a cool guy. Next weekend me and some of my buds are coming here for a kickback so definitely recommend this place to hang out. read more

Hello all. I am here today to tell you of the most despicable experience I have ever experienced. When I "arrived" after heeding the instructions of Apple Maps, I was unpleasantly fooled. The location was nowhere in sight, so I first wandered through the mall, which prompted me to spend a large sum of money on things I did not need, out of boredom, in hopes of finding the establishment on the way. After an hour of hopeless searching, I decided to call GLO, to inquire the staff of the establishments whereabouts, in hopes of being freed from the endless torment of searching for this place! The directions given were as follows: "We are located between JCPENNEY'S and MACY'S, underneath the food court". As a rational citizen, I figured the staff worker was not going to withhold the fact that the only entrance to the establishment WAS AN EXTERIOR ONLY PASSAGE! Without this important piece of information, I spent an extra hour searching in between JCPENNEY'S and MACY'S, BENEATH THE FOOD COURT...on the INSIDE of the mall. It was only after my genius stroke of thought, to look at a directory, that I was informed the only way to enter GLO, was indeed to go through an OUTSIDE entrance. I began to break down. After pulling myself together I began the excruciatingly long trek to GLO. I had to trek through JCPENNEY and very luckily stumbled across GLO, and found it right where the staff worker said it would be IF ONLY THEY INCLUDED THE FACT THAT THE DOOR WAS LITERALLY OUTSIDE!!! Not only did this put a damper on my mood and my mediocre evening of mini golf, but I also had to journey MILES AFTERWARDS to get to my car, which was on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MALL. All in all, I forgive you GLO. But I can't allow for any other patron to FOOLED and MISLED the way that I was today. Thank you all. read more

The customer service and entertainment was really great, although I wish for $45 we can get more than 7 games worth in the arcade. They lack food service, which would make me walk all around the mall just to grab a bite; which we did after. I wanted to have my sons party here, I can careless about the drive, but the lack of hot food items made me not want to. What a crappy experience. I took my nephews to @GloMiniGolf in Riverside and got the legendary packages (most expensive) so they could enjoy a nice time. The virtual realty games which cost much extra wasn't working properly. The Star Wars game only had one side working. They had two other virtual reality games also not working properly. When I asked the associate working the front desk I was met with an oh well attitude. Excuse me but I just spent $240 for all of us. The manager Travis came out and said if we didn't like it we could leave -- I have never felt so disrespected. I will be filing a formal complaint. read more

Came here with a friend a couple weeks ago. It was Friday morning and we arrived right when they opened at 10am. We walked in the doors and you head straight down the stairs into the darkness! Yesss I got more and more excited going towards the darkness my happy place (I am vampire). Anyway sorry got off track lol When we got to the bottom of the stairs we were greeted by a friendly face. Back behind the desk area was an arcade filled with lots of pinball machines and other games. You pay upfront and grab your clubs. You get to pick the color of you ball also. Then you head over to the big mini golf entrance and hit the course! The courses appear to start easier and increase in difficulty. By the end your trying to hit your ball up a ramp to swirl around and hopefully ricochet off a wall so it can go in the hole. Super fun! I love the around the world theme; Russia, India etc. Great fun interactive way to hangout with friends, family or on a date. The cosmic part gives it an added element that's so fun, make sure you wear white (so you glow)! read more

Our first time there. Took the whole family and we had a blast playing glow in the dark mini golf. So much fun. Its was out of the sun and heat. My littles 10, 11 and 21 yr old all had such a great time. The staff was very help full too. This is a decent option for mini golf in the IE (assuming you're not in it for the fresh air and time in the sunshine). It's in a dark subfloor of the mall with blacklight illumination. The wall paintings and decor are pretty cool. The course is just OK - no hole was terribly elaborate, but I did think the theme of iconic structures of the world was interesting. The atmosphere lends itself to kids running wild in the dark, so if you're serious about keeping score and playing through a fair game, it may be frustrating here. Overall, if you want a way to contain your kids and provide them an air-conditioned activity out of the SoCal sun, here's the place. I will say I did find it odd that the GLO merch being sold was covered in euphemistic slogans. It just seemed inappropriately suggestive for a place that caters to children (but maybe I'm wrong and mini golf is a perv-adult thing too). read more

Pretty fun place to go and experience once. The price of $12 per person to play mini-golf seems fair. I was really impressed with the drawings on the wall. They are pretty cool under the black light. The theme of the mini golf showcases the wonders of each country - the Sydney Opera House and the Jesus statue in Rio de Janeiro are a couple of themes I remember. The space is a challenge for golfers in groups of 4 or more. Expect a wait time and it helps to call ahead to be sure. The attendants seem to have a pretty organized and efficient way of handling the crowd.
