I needed a a 1400 sq ft vacant house cleaned after we moved out. Global Cleaning sent two people to do the job. They focused on deep clean of the two bathrooms and the kitchen which came out really nicely. No more lime scale in the showers and toilets and the stove and oven were like new. The cleaners came right on schedule (actually a bit earlier, which was even better) and worked on 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen/living room area all in the span of about ~4 hours or so. DO NOT USE GLOBAL CLEANING because the owner, Maksym is unethical, damaged my home & because of numerous communication issues! After discussing my project (a cleaning gift to family members) and getting a quote, Maks showed up & dropped off two women who could NOT speak basic, minimal English. And this is where the problems started! We tried to communicate with them using the Google Translate app, but that didn't go well, and we were unable to reach Maks to translate for us. The two women who did the cleaning were nice and did an okay job, but, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND or SPEAK ENGLISH, they used a product to clean our hardwood floors that we asked them NOT to use, permanently damaging our hardwood floors, (to the point that they need to be replaced). We reached out to Maks during & immediately after the cleaning, asking him to " make it right." Instead, Maks chose to make excuses, claimed that the homeowners, instructed his cleaners to use a damaging product on the hardwood (which no one would do!) and then chose to ignore written requests that he fix it. It's been 2 years and Maks has still ignored every request to try to fix this. HE NEVER APOLOGIZED, never even discounted his service...he did NOTHING aside from LIE in attempts to blame the homeowner. Though Maksym has reached out several times to offer cleaning specials. I CANNOT RECOMMEND any service that operates with zero integrity! DON'T USE GLOBAL CLEANING! This was our first time hiring cleaners, so we don't have anything to compare to, but overall happy with the service that was provided, especially since the rate was quite good compared to other cleaning companies. The manager was very responsive through Yelp and text and was very kind and flexible given our unique situation with the delay in closing our house. We were moving into a new house and had requested a deep clean of the whole house including cleaning of the fridge, oven, interior windows, and garage cabinets. I had made an error with the number of bedrooms in the Yelp quote but had provided a Redfin link to obtain the most accurate quote based on the full house details on Redfin, so I was surprised the cleaners only mentioned two bedrooms to be cleaned when I had expected the full house to be cleaned. However, since the house had previously been professionally cleaned by the previous owners, the manager and cleaners were nice enough to agree to at least clean the floors of all the bedrooms. I was most impressed by the cleaning of the fridge. The exterior was so disgusting, I thought it was beyond repair and was planning on purchasing a new one. I was pleasantly surprised that all the gross marks were cleaned off. One of the cleaners also showed me all the grease stains that he removed from the oven, so I appreciated that the oven was truly cleaned. The only things I noticed that could have been cleaned a little better were some of the interior windows and window sills (the window sills maybe weren't included in the cleaning), the stairs (didn't seem to be vacuumed since I saw some particles on the stairs), the master closet, and underneath the sinks. In the beginning, I pointed out some areas I wanted cleaned better (such as the inside of the fridge), so they tried their best to clean. In the end, they quickly asked us to look through the house to see if anything was not cleaned to satisfaction. Since they had already packed the cleaning supplies and had already spent about 5 hours cleaning, I didn't bother asking for more cleaning since they already worked so hard. The guy responding to me kept saying my team will come, my team is on the way. Now in which world team consists of 1 single person. I scheduled a deep cleaning and mind you my home was completely empty since we were barely moving in, so no appliances or anything to clean. I specifically asked for baseboards, cabinets, walls, cabintets and kitchen to be cleaned aside from the basic. The owner stated yes they would do that but they didn't. They didn't even clean the most basic of stuff. There were spider webs and dirt behind all 3 toilets. The baseboards were filthy. They hadn't been touched at all. There was so much dust and dirt in the cabinets and on top. There was dust on all the light fixtures. The floors were still dirty. I took a wipe to these and they were black. The window sills were filthy. It looked as if nothing was cleaned. I chose this company due to the good reviews and I was so disappointed in the job they did. The owner had nothing but excuses as to why they didn't do stuff but it was the most basic of stuff that wasn't cleaned aside from the deep cleaning stuff. The shower and bathtubs were still dirty, I also took a wipe to them and the dirt came off. The owner offered them to come back and redo it but why would I want them to come out if they didn't do it right the first time and they only thing I got back was $50 (it took 2 days for him to send it) when I paid $80/hr for basically nothing. It looks like nothing was cleaned but the inside of the toilets. My biggest regret was not going with another company for my cleaning needs. The owner said the couple (a woman and tall man) that came out was the best crew he had and they had a lot of experience. If they did have so much experience then I wouldn't have to micromanage them, this is their job and they should know how to clean. I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated that I basically gave them free money to do nothing. Please look elsewhere for your cleaning needs. Very unprofessional and do not know what they're doing. There is no smell of freshness in the house after cleaning, only a terrible smell of household chemicals. If you have children, I do not recommend this cleaning company. The guy wiped all the surfaces with one rag, the kitchen. This is very unprofessional. I don't want to think that they also wash the toilet and the kitchen with one rag. It's disgusting. We asked them several times to please clean our walls , any wall they can clean, we asked to be clean. We have a 2 bed room, 1 1/2 bath, which isn't much to deep clean properly. I get home I can tell the walls were not cleaned at all, I grabbed simple wipes and wiped down my walls and easily cleaned them. The job they did was something I could have done myself. They just threw blankets on my daughters bed. There was still speckles on my floor which shows it wasn't properly mopped or swept . My kitchen counter still had things done them. I used this company three times. I reached out to the owner to ask if the cleaners can follow specific instructions as with covid and being pregnant I have a strong preference in how my house is cleaned (i.e. no shoes in the house, wash hands when entering home etc...). The owner stated the instructions can be followed. He also stated initial cleaning is $250 even though I just hd my house cleaned by our previous house cleaners (I've hd house cleaners for 7 yes). I asked if there will be 1 or 2 cleaners he said 2. Reoccurring cleaning is $200 for 3-4 hrs of cleaning. On the day of the cleaning only 1 cleaner showed up and took a very long time to clean. They were thorough and followed my requested instructions which I appreciated. Second month of cleaning I asked for the same cleaner but requested two cleaners as he stated the service included. He said ok but sent a different crew came and they had to take the time to review the instructions. They followed the instructions and finished at about 4 hrs (I believe the same amount of time as the first time). The Third time I asked for the same lady from the first time but he said she only works alone.... I asked for the second crew and he tried to charge me $250 because they took 4 hrs to clean. I told him I'll reconsider the cleaning and he said he'll honor the $200. The cleaners came and cleaned in 3 hrs and 15 mins but didn't follow the all instructions and did not clean thoroughly. They also misplaced my rags used to clean and I had to take the time to figure out where it was. The owner denied that they used the rags but I was here watching them use my rags per my request. Unfortunately because they didn't follow instructions to put all dirty rags at the door, they wasted my time trying to look for the rags I have my cleaners use. I've had other cleaners do the same quality of work for $150. I contacted Global Cleaning to do a move in clean. I specifically requested windows (extra), tile/ grout, tubs and toilets, the oven to be clean, and general dust and wipe down. I also had them do our shampoo and steam of the carpets. I needed help with the cleaning since I am pregnant and am avoiding most cleaning products for the smell. Their cleaning crew arrived around 11:45am and the carpet cleaning crew would arrive near the end of their job. The original carpet crew's machine broke and they were quick to tell us. They got us a new crew, but that meant we had to go let the new crew in rather than it be back-to-back. Upon arrival, it was clean the cleaning crew did an exceptionally poor job. Our window sills had what looked like mold on them. The kitchen counters and microwave door were still sticky and had food bits on them. The laundry and patio doors were dirty. None of these required extra elbow grease because, to confirm they hadn't been cleaned, I wiped them down with a Clorox wipe, and that was able to clean them. When I sent pictures to the owner they were very apologetic and offered to send a crew the following day. It wouldn't work with my or my husbands work schedule so we requested some money off of the job which was granted. The job was $300 plus $50 for the windows. I requested $75-$100 off. I got $80 off. The carpet crew who arrived was timely and efficient. I just would not have them do my carpets again since booking their cleaning service was a letdown. read more
