I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. I can't thank Chris enough for his great personality, true professionalism, answered my questions, taught me a few things (learning something new is always good) and even loved on my 2 labs (turns out we both love animals). They then would not certify that my AC unit was working correctly. Within an hour of departure the unit stopped working. They sent same man back that evening, he got it to work then an hour later, no longer working. Next they sent someone else out who said it just had to be our breaker which I doubted. Still I updated new breaker and the AC unit stopped working again. I have asked to speak to manager. The operator takes my messages and I have never received a returned calls, two weeks later still no call. They were suppose to send out an emergency tech. No one has showed up. Called and couldn't get any response other than the woman who answer phone. What a joke. **Update** I am revising my score. I finally received a phone call this morning to discuss my situation and we agreed on the next steps. They were very apologetic but its sad it had to come to this to get a response.

He and another technician/trainee did a check of our system to see if there was anything wrong. He discussed all of the technical stuff with my husband and told us our system was overheating and thus short cycling. Gave us recommendations to minimize it from reoccurring, like maintaining both floors at same temp. Mentioned his relative had same issues who lives in the same community because of the way the houses were built. On this…read moreoccasion, our air conditioner stopped working, and a technician named Gio diagnosed the issue as a blown capacitor. He promptly replaced it and had our system up and running again. Unfortunately, the very next day, the air stopped working once more. Red Bear responded quickly again, and a technician named Steven diagnosed the new issue as a blown fuse caused by exposed wiring that had likely come into contact with itself. He explained that the damaged wiring was most likely the result of a rodent chewing away the insulation. Both technicians were extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything they found and the repairs they performed. Their professionalism and prompt response are appreciated. Can't believe they have five start. I can believe they're closed…read more Hired them to install a new HVAC in my house in February, replacing the central heater. Found out in june when I tried to use the AC that electricity wasn't even hooked to the outside unit. By then they were permanently closed. I Finally got it working by having the electricity hooked up and another HVAC firm come out and finish the install, which included charging the ac with refrigerant. THey took advantage of installing when I wasn't there to not finish the job, hoping I wouldn't test it out till summer.
