I was actually kind of shocked at how small their truck is, but hey, they made it work! I had the pleasure of dining with them when they partnered with Popcorn Frights to sell food in conjunction with a showing of the movies Heather. They even created a special menu item for the event, Veronica's Pasta, spaghetti with extra oregano of course! The menu for the event was salad, Italian sandwiches, pasta dishes, and ice cream for dessert. We were first when they opened about an hour before the movie, which was a good thing because the line quickly filled up. For an appetizer my friend and I decided to share an order of the fried ravioli ($11). An order of five pipping hot ricotta filled ravioli arrived with dipping sauce. For my dinner I ordered the meatball sub, served on a toasted hoagie with ricotta, melted mozzarella, sauce, parmesan, and basil, served with parmesan truffle chips ($15). Four large and tasty meatballs were loaded into the hoagie roll. By the time I finished I was stuffed. I love a dinner and a movie concept and I really enjoyed my meal with Cucina Bambina. I found the prices to be fair and Savor Cinema has a great patio set up with tables and chairs so we were able to eat before we went in to the movie although some people opted to bring their food in during the movie. Cucina Bambina stayed during our movie and into the next one. If I saw them at another event I would definitely dine with them again. For my meal, I ordered the pasta arrabbiatta which is one of my favorite dishes. It's basically a spicy marinara sauce and they serve it with a piece of burrata cheese on top. While I love fresh burrata, I felt it was unnecessary, and it made the pasta a tiny bit more watery. The heat was definitely there but I felt it needed a bit of garlic flavor which wasn't really there. The breadstick was nothing to write home about, it was kind of an afterthought it seemed. The service from the ladies was friendly and if I happen to come across them again, I might try something else.

The menu was posted on the wall in the truck as well as on the outside. The options were huge. Italian Ice, Malts, Soda Floats, fresh lemonades, and wonderfully decadent Ice cream sundae creations.
