5 years later -- I still love Taqueria El Molcajete. Taqueria El Molcajete is just 2 minutes away on weekends at Palmetto Park Rd (eastbound) & Boca Rio. They added new options into the menu -- beef tips & beef tongue. I went with my usual fav steak sope and tried 2 tacos with beef tongue. They introduce a new angle in authentic Mexican beyond the standard fare. Their Facebook page advertises their weekly specials such as street corn, next up on my list. Back in the day, we'd drive to Pompano or Lake Worth for legitimate Mexican. Not anymore! I haven't touched Tex Mex chains since back then. This is the most legit spot in Southrrn Palm Beach County. read more

Alright so I was visiting Boca for a month. There was absolutely no Mexican food in sight. Started yelping found this food truck so glad I did. Their tacos are amazing and super cheap. The family is so kind and prep the food fresh. I'm from Cali and we have these all over so it was definitely nice to have some bomb tacos in the area without having to leave Boca. My husband and I were starving and happen to drive past the truck and saw a decent amount of cars and thought hey why not?! Best decision we made for sure! The tacos are freshly made to order and taste fantastic. I think they make the tortilla themselves which tastes amazing. We got steak and pastor tacos, and we tried one tostada which was massive and insanely delicious!!! We ate it all and ordered more. The best part is they are $2 a pop!!! The tostada was $3 and soooo worth it, it was massive!We will definitely be back!! I wish I took photos of the food sorry February 8 2020- update ahhhh I've been dying to eat these tacos since I had them last but I work to damn much to catch them but today I did lol hallelujah and they were even better then I remembered seriously. The food at this taco truck is amazing. Every time I visited it's always very good consistency and it's very delicious and it's priced very well. I go usually two times a week. On a different note I wanted to mention how thankful I am to the staff that were there today on July 3, 2024 I was riding my bike and I became ill very quickly and they helped me tremendously by giving me extra drinks and ice to cool down as I was in fear I probably needed to go to the hospital if they didn't help me, and they didn't ask for anything and they just saw I was in need and they helped me. I'm forever grateful so the people who own and run this truck are very good people and I highly recommend them to anybody who searches for them. read more

Monday= closed Tuesday-Friday = glades and palmetto (by west boca high) Sat and sun = palmetto and boca río This place is sooooo good and authentic. I have passed this Taco Truck so many times when driving down Palmetto in Boca and have not stopped, but today I decided to make a stop and it was so worth it. Tacos are only $2 each and they are cooked fresh to order and are so delicious. They are at this location on the weekends right off the overpass on Palmetto and Boca Rio rd. . These ladies know what they're doing. They park near West Boca HS. I had the campechana, chorizo and barbacoa tacos. They were all great. My son had barbacoa burrito that was one of the biggest burritos I've ever seen. They don't have salsa verde but their salsa is very good. We will be back. read more

Delicious $2 tacos! Gave this place a shot today based on Yelp and it delivered. These are so well seasoned and are the first of the authentic tacos I've found in Boca. Super quick (took about five minutes) and strongly recommend the steak/chorizo mix with the hot sauces (very tasty with some decent heat). read more

This is my new favorite! We happened to drive by, and my husband insisted in trying it out, so glad we stopped. We had 4 pastor tacos, 1 tostada, my very picky eater son had 3 corn quesadillas and one horchata, all for $21. This place rocks! I always pass it driving by along Palmetto Park Rd and Boca Rio, so was in mood for some street tacos. I certainly didn't leave empty handed. I ordered 3 chicken tacos which came with reddish slices, fresh cilantro and lime wedges. Also, a pastor torta. This was plenty of food for myself and was ready in about 10 mins, btw made fresh to order. They accept cash and cards but if using card, you have to cover a small fee. Excellent services , this Sunday was so different when we found this truck with delicious tacos . We try pastor, bistec o asada, and barbacoa everything was delicious . The horchata was delicious and natural , the salsa was the best . They are very fast to make the orders. They don't have place to take a seat but that rimber the real taquerias in Mexico in the best flavor . We are coming soon!!!!! read more

I just ate the best plant-based burrito ever. I custom ordered the burrito without animal products and they made me a delicious burrito with beans, vegetables and great hot sauce. It was so fresh! If you are heading west on Glades Rd past Boca West High School you have to stop for a bite. Don't worry, their delicious food can include meat, cheese and sour cream if you prefer. They double wrap the tacos which I liked so it helps them not to fall apart but can be a bit more filling. Our server was very nice and took great care of us. We came around noon on Saturday and were able to get a table immediately.

Next time we get to try it again, we will try it while we are there and let you guys know with an update. They had ran out of several bagel flavors when we were there, so this place must be a pretty popular stop for bagels for the locals who live there. The chocolate snack that was loaded with 10g of protein had a nice taste and texture. I will for sure get it again next time. My husband an everything bagel toasted with sun-dried tomato jalapeño cream cheese spread. He too only ate half of his bagel along with some coffee. We shared a piece of crumb cake for dessert. The cake was so moist and the crumb topping a perfect mix of cinnamon and sugar etc. We were able to find a table inside. There's a small area with tables where you will enjoy chatting with your neighbors about what they got (the tuna was highly recommended by one lady) as tables are close together. There's a larger area on an outside patio but it was too hot today for us to be there. Service was very friendly and accommodating by everyone. They are getting popular, so plan on a short wait. You stand in line to order and then pay the same person who took your order and then prepared your food. We got some extra bagels to go. I know we will be back.

This food truck's steak tacos are delicious. I have picky eaters for children and they ask for these every weekend. The experience of pulling off the road, ordering, waiting for your food to be freshly prepared and packed, and then eating it in the car with a squeeze of lime and salsa, while sipping a cold coke from a bottle- it gives a street food vibe. It was delightful and now I am slightly jealous. My margarita did not play around. A generous pour of tequila with that sharp tart lime bite that lets you know you are alive. Overall it was a really good experience and I will absolutely be back.

Two things stand between Los Bocados and the highest nacho score in this series: fresh chips and the right vessel. Everything else is already there. If you want these nachos -- and you do -- walk up and ask nicely. The chef may just make them for you.
