Maria's Tacos Y Mas is my go-to spot for tacos and burritos, and I've been coming here at least twice a week for a while now. The barbacoa is my personal favorite, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of the proteins--the chicken, steak, al pastor, and shrimp are all excellent. What really sets this place apart are the sauces. Julio, the owner and head chef, makes them all from scratch. The verde sauce is fresh, flavorful, and mild, while the hot sauce has the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The portions are consistently generous, and you can tell they take pride in every order. Don't let the food truck fool you--this is restaurant-quality food made by people who genuinely care about what they serve. In all the times I've eaten here, I've never had an order made incorrectly or a meal that wasn't excellent. Great food, great people, and consistently one of the best taco spots around. The prices at this food truck were super affordable, they literally have tacos cheaper than gas. Everything at this food truck is absolutely delicious. I loved how all the food was cooked fresh to order. The burritos are a highlight, they are stuffed so full they can barely roll the tortillas. I love that this place does not skimp on the meat. The Birria tacos were very tasty and stacked with cheese and beef. The chilaquiles held their crunch and the sauce chip combo was the perfect bite. Definitely a must try. You can order online and pick up after filling up at the gas station. Food came out super quick and is often served by the owners themselves. Love the design of the truck. read more

Little update, Maria's is still amazing no shocker there lol but I did try something new that I thought deserved its praise which was the carne asada nachos. It's a nice hefty portion or nachos my husband and I couldn't finish them cause I had got us some tacos as well so we ate what we could mmming the whole time lol there was still so much left so I figured I'd heat them up later when I was feeling snackish and it warmed up perfectly. Of course I added more cheese cause that's the best part of nachos and I mean we ate most of the cheese when we initially ate it but yeah even a couple hours old it still was nice and crunchy when I warmed it up and tasted just as amazing as the first time. The owner has always been so pleasant to deal with they love what they do there and you can taste it in the food. Food is fantastic! My favorite go-to for authentic Mexican for the last 20 yrs has been Mexican Supermarket in Pompano. That place is still my favorite but living in West Boca, it was always an inconvenient detour on my commute from Hollywood. This place is so good and so close to being equally as good but directly on my commute home that I no longer need to inconvenience myself and add time and stress to an already not-fun commute. Welcome to the most delicious tacos y mas I've had from a food truck, ever. These guys really know what they are doing. The service is quick, professional, and polite. They asked if we would like to add on all the extras like sauces, beverages and some sort of ice pop (can't remember the name). Now let's get to the food-- We tried their nachos which were delicious. You can tell they make their chips fresh. If they don't, then wow. Magic. The toppings were fresh and packed with flavor. I love that they didn't sog into one another and maintained their independence. We got it with steak for the protein which, again, was packed with flavor. The only recommendation I could possibly add is to toss the chips in a little bit of salt. The second meal we ordered were the quesabirria. These were hot, tasty, and not super greasy which I feel like is always the case w birria. The birria broth was excellent and a perfect portion for the entry. The real star of our order were the Barbarcoa and chorizo tacos I got just to sample other flavors. I would 100000% order the barbarcoa on the nachos for the next order.
