WHAT happened to this place? We used to love Glory Days but the quality of food is steadily going down hill. Ordered a Cobb salad and received a salad made of shredded lettuce. The same lettuce that was on my husband's steak 'n cheese. The bread on his steak 'n cheese was stale. We used to get the wings but stopped once they switched the GF wings to grill. They always taste like charred coal. Third time in a row of the food quality dropping significantly. How sad for a local staple. read more

We use curbside. I would rate higher but they keep forgetting things like Glory Days sauce. I also think they have been directed by corporate to reduce add-ons like bacon, tomatoes, pickle, celery, etc. we know that times are tough but it might be prudent to raise the price a bit. My experience at glory days was terrible. every time a server greeted me, they were ALWAYS under the influence of alcohol or marijuana. The food is so unsanitary if you walk into the kitchen and see where the carrots and celery come from, the bucket is filled with this muddy colored water that those carrots and celery are swimming in. The fries are never packaged or given out to customers properly if anything, those fries that are served are served with uncleaned hands by servers, managers, and cooks. read more

Went in today for lunch and ordered a burger and a beer. Looked around and noticed a lot of dust buildup on the partitions separating the booths . Same on the napkin dispenser. It appears that the place isn't cleaned very often. The beer was served cold in a frosted mug . The bleu burger arrived quickly and was served with hot fries. It was cooked ok but had a funky taste. Kind of hard to mess up a burger. I have to add that the server was polite and efficient, and did an excellent job, however, between the weird tasting burger and the lack of cleanliness in the place I won't be back. My boyfriend and I always go here whenever we are in the mood for burgers. They have great burger deals every monday and the burger is a good size!!!! I can barely finish it, but I force myself to eat it because it is just so darn good! I always order the bacon cheddar burger and even before biting it, the burger meat juices oozes out! They always cook it to the perfect medium rare and the service has always been very fast, friendly, and accommodating. We will always be coming back every monday whenever we are craving burgers! I've been another Glory Days Grill located in Centreville and I had great experience there numerous times. Our family came across this one a few months back and decided to give it a try. As expected, their service was amazing. Our server kept a positive and friendly attitude at all times and asked us if we needed anything here and there. I personally love having their boneless wings with glory sauce and celeries while the rest of my family made their menu choices. When our order came out, the foods were very fresh and some were still steaming. The setting was very chill and entertaining. You have TV screens all around the walls along with sports-themed decors around. The TV also show many different genres such as sports, cartoons, news, etc. I was once again satisfied with their service and this is definitely one of the go-to places whenever I have folks to hang around with. read more

Came here for a nice mom and kiddos lunch with a friend. I brought my infant and my 5 year old and she brought her 3 year old. Both her daughter and my son are fans of Frozen and Glory Days was hosting a the "Snow Queen" for the afternoon. The event was great! The tables were mostly families with Frozen fans and "Elsa" made multiple visits to each table to make conversation with the kids and the manager of Glory Days also made personal visits to each table to hand out activities. Sing alongs were cute and held at the front of the restaurant. The food and staff were also awesome! I forget that when you go to classic american chain restaurants, the portions are HUGE. The menu is extensive. Lots of classic eats and bar foods like salads, burgers, steaks, sandwiches, wings ... etc. My friend is very preggo so we ordered whatever she had the craving for, which for the day was fried pickles and crab dip! Both came out super quick as well as the orders we had put in for our kids while we continued to look over the menu. Even the kids meals are HUGE. My son got a kids pasta and a side of fries, and each was literally a full adult plate. I ordered a half salad and soup. Again, huge (see my picture) I wonder what a full salad would look like! Not complaining! All food was great american fare and the staff was more than patient with us as we overstayed a typical visit time while the kids enjoyed the event. We've been going to this Glory Days for years and was satisfied so kept going back. However, recently we went back and was so disappointed we will NOT go back again. Why: the chicken wings were not cooked properly and the sauce was just poured on not cooked with; the baby back ribs were not cooked through; and there was someone else's trash in our salad. It seems as though they have a high turnover of people so those there now are not necessarily knowledgeable about how to do wait service. I should preface this review by saying two things: 1) I've eaten here numerous times without an issue, and the food and service is generally good; and 2) before writing this review I made several attempts to reach the restaurant via email, but to no avail. Accordingly, I felt it necessary to post this review. I had a less than desirable experience on April 28, 2023. We placed an order through Uber Eats. We ordered wings with traditional sauce, two burgers, 2 kids sliders and a full cobb salad with chicken. What we received was anything far from Glory Days' usual high standard. The wings were not sauced in any way, and were in fact, burnt and extra crispy (which is not what we ordered). Both adult burgers were overcooked and tasteless and neither came with the standard pickle. I understand that sometimes ordering burgers "medium well" is risky in the sense of the potential for being overcooked, but these were cooked so badly they tasted like rubber. Although we ordered a kids meal with two kids sliders, we received one small burger. The full cobb salad with chicken was actually a half order. I understand mistakes happen but this meal was so disappointing I felt the need to write about it. I brought the issue up with Uber Eats who said that they could not do anything for me since the issues were not delivery related and I did not take pictures of the food (as I threw most of it out upon experiencing the issues). I like Glory Days because I know what to expect. Good wings, cold beer, and .....shark attacks! My kids love the shark attack drinks and order them each and every time. The kids get the shark to take home! The menu is your basic American cuisine, but they do a couple things very well, one of which is the wings. I love the hot wings because they already put jalapeños on them! I had the summer berry salad a couple of weeks ago and it was very light and refreshing. The beer list always features heavy on VA beers, which is another reason I dig Glory Days. Service was a hit and miss until we met Chris. Chris first waited on us as a large party and then has served us a few times after that as a family of 3 or 4. He is on top of everything and is very timely! Went to this shopping center and saw this restaurant so we came in just to grab a snack. I heard this place was known for their wings. There was 4 of us so we decided to get a plate of wings (18count) and some cheese fries. Our server was very good. He got our orders and checked up on us frequently. Our order didn't take long to come out. The wings had good flavor. We ordered 3 different flavors honey old bay, mild, and garlic buffalo. The cheese fries was a big plate and cheesy there was a side of bacon and sour cream if you wanted to add that to it as well. The atmosphere was laid back. Lots of tv's to watch different spots. This has been our go-to place nearly a decade, but the "new" reduced menu has convinced us to never come back. Most of our favorite meals - including the Rib & Shrimp Combo and Sliders - are gone, and the items that left have changed for the worse. The cheese steak was an easy pick previously, but now I had to check twice to make sure I didn't accidentally get chicken because the meat was so tough. And there is no longer an option to double the meat! We enjoyed the wings, especially the Garlic Buffalo sauce - which was a good substitute for BW3 Spicy Garlic. Now, the wings are terrible, and everything is just some flavor of hot sauce. Even the burgers, which could be considered their most consistent offering, are now changed for the worse. It's sad because the change was so sudden and unexpected. We used to love taking our kids here so they could watch cartoons while the adults talked, but I can't justify spending this kind of money of subpar bar food when there are much better options. My family and I came out last night to have dinner and watch the nationals game. I was hesitant because the last time we came it was the best experience, last night however had changed our minds! Our server Alyssa was fantastic! She was truly a gem! Everyone just seemed to be more on it and efficient. The hosts were getting tables cleaned and people sat so quickly (which was a big problem last time). Been coming here for about 10 years, usually on Mondays for the burger specials. However, on our most recent visit, everything seemed a bit different. First off, they carded me for my beer. I've never been carded here before. I'm 62 years old. Our server said it was because they had an issue with the ABC board. Hmmm? Also, they no longer serve onion rings. Ok. Next, they no longer keep ketchup bottles on the table. (Because Heinz is having a bottle shortage). Yup. No lie. So instead they give you a tiny cup of ketchup, per order. Overall, the food quality was not what we were used to after so many years of much better than average burgers. A bit of a disappointment for sure. Oh well. On the plus side, our server was very attentive and helpful. They appear to have a lot of newer employees/servers. Maybe just a bad night. Hopefully things get better next time. read more

Wow, this is the place to come on game day. They have about 50 (yes fifty) televisions. The decor is mostly baseball and football but I was surprised at the lack of hockey items. They have one PENGUINS sign. The Caps just won the cup... no love for them? On the bright side, the food was delicious. My girl had the Reuben and I went for the salmon BLT. Came here after restaurants started opening after huge COVID outbreak. They added a large tent on the side of the restaurant to have lots of outdoor seating. I was meeting a couple of friends who I hadn't seen for a while. The setup was great, though walking from the restaurant entrance into the tent sort of made you feel drunk before even drinking as it was on a downhill pitch. The plastic chairs were also really uncomfortable. But this restaurant was doing what they could in a pinch to operate under the temporary normal. I didn't feel like a traditional meal, so ordered a half order of the cheesy, bacon and onion fries and a dozen of the honey old bay wings (which are one of my favorite type of wings)!!! Couldn't resist the special hot apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. A delicious ending to the meal! Our server was excellent and kept checking to make sure we were okay and kept bringing water to make sure we were well hydrated. I've been to many Glory Days locations and this was the best service and friendliest of any locations. It is hard being a sports bar in this day with no live sports on TV, but being outside made up for all of it and normally you cannot eat outside at this location. Recommend making a visit here and try the honey old bay wings if you like both honey and old bay. They are a good combination. read more

My family and I went to this location last night and immediately realized how busy it was. Despite everything going on, the managers were on it. Now, understand this up front. I'm writing this (generally positive) review because of a few dishes, and only those few dishes. Glory Days has half priced burgers on Monday nights; they make a decent hamburger (I like the three cheese burger, substituting bleu cheese for Swiss). I like the fact you can swap out vegetables for the (standard) french fries. They get such a volume on Burger Night that you should take care about specifying how you like yours prepared. I thought "medium rare" was equating to "almost raw" one night, so I default to well done. The Buffalo Salad is also worth a visit, when they aren't having any specials. It can be a little daunting, as it's a large portion. With that said, the atmosphere is very loud and distracting. I admit I'm addicted to the TapaTalk trivia game, but every square foot of the wall space is covered with loud, constantly on television sets-- looking like the Architect's office in the Matrix. This is not a place designed for intimate conversation, as the background din is kind of overwhelming. We put up with it for the occasional Burger deal. read more

Glad that this place is open late I think until 11pm- I showed up like 9:45pm. My family and I felt safe literally only three other small groups in the restaurant. We only went for dessert basically, so we got the lava cake and brownie sundae. For a late night treat this works.
