Terrible! I have visited three times: Visited 8 PM - 29 October 2016. Service was slow, horrible, and the food has downgraded to snack shack at a pee wee baseball game level. Nachos was served cold with Week old stale chips. Korean lettuce wraps with four small lettuce leafs - had enough chicken, salad filling, and sauce to make ten more servings. Chicken was super oily. Chicken wings - the size of each chicken was the size of my thumb because it's over fried and of cheap quality. Service - Asked the Waiter if there where ales he said, "he didn't know," so he asked a manager a white female seating on the last row of the high top tables; mind you she was drinking alcohol for the answer. Annoying and downfall of the night: Bunch of waiters and hostess where just standing in the entrance on their cell phones, joking around, and louder then the guest brought my experience to a one star and not to recommend this place or to come here again. We do not patron Glory Days often.....we typically do not go in expecting 5 star service.......We can't express how impressed we were when Armando the server not only took care of us but he went above and beyond!! We never leave a review but in this day and age when you come across a hard working, dedicated, kind, professional server, you leave grateful and appreciative of people that take their job seriously. I went there recently and ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip as an appetizer. To my surprise, it came out with Fritos. Fritos? Really? When I was in college coming home after a night at the bars, this probably would've been awesome, but now? So disappointed. Who the heck thought this was a good menu idea? I'll never order it again. As the daughter of one of Glory Days' very first customers in Burke in 1996 and a long time supporter of Glory Days, I hate that I'm writing this review...but this specific Glory Days location sucks. It's always slow service, food is sometimes good, sometimes bad. Not sure what is going on in their kitchen, but it's an issue that needs to be fixed. The service is awful. I had to wait at the host stand for 15 min just for someone to acknowledge my existence. At one point the host stuck his head out of the back saw us and then went back to the kitchen. I came here on a Sunday to watch a RAVENS game. It's not a bad place to watch a game they set you up with your own personal speakers so you can hear right at your table. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms employees wear masks at all times .the tables are set up for social distancing. Good menu and tasty food. read more

So I went here a couple months ago and had a very bad experience. My teenage daughter had the glory burger. She got food poisoning from this place and was so sick for several days. I contacted the restaurant and they said they did an investigation. They offered me a gift card to any glory days and I thought that was kind but I definitely wasnt going back to that location. Long story short I never got any gift card and nobody responded to my emails regarding this. Beware of ordering any burgers from this restaurant. I will not be going back. read more

I went into glory days with family for a quick meal. as I was eating my chicken tenders I noticed they were raw on the inside and the woman who seated me didn't even acknowledge me as I waited 5 whole minutes for her to seat me somewhere and then she sat me at a dirty table I was so offended by her actions and felt very upset since I am a customer to Glory Days but it was my first time using this location . I decided to stop in at Glory Days for dinner when my husband I unexpectedly found ourselves in the area on 1/3/20. I was pleasantly surprised that although the restaurant was busy they had no trouble sitting us. Their menu is large and had a lot of choices. I ended up with the fried pickles and the salmon sandwich. Both of them were fine (nothing outstanding). Our service was also fine. Our table was address quickly and the waitress checked on us once. Glory Days seems to attract singles to families and, as a result it was a little loud. In a nutshell, there is nothing wrong with Glory Days (and I'd go back) but there was nothing outstanding about it either read more

I've been going to this Glory Days since it opened when I was a kid, and had recently starting taking my own child here. It's gone downhill so badly the past few months since it's under new management. The food is bad, I had a chicken wrap that was so soggy it was inedible. The fries have zero seasoning, even the sweet tea tastes gross now. The servers don't care. We've had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to come take our drinks order, when it's empty! Servers stand around watching TV and avoid eye contact. Drinks glasses sit empty, we wait forever to pay our bill. The first time in my entire life we left a $0.00 tip because it was so bad. New menu supposedly focuses on "quality over quantity" as we spoke to a manager so the choices are much more limited. Forget fish tacos and reuben sandwiches. specials are gone. Any manager that has to come explain the new menu to multiple guests should figure out something is wrong. My wife and I had come here for many years and just found the latest changes in the wrong direction. Sad but I doubt we will be back given other choices/experiences in the shifted, higher price range. I guess management wants the focus on the bar and less so on the menu. read more

Love Glory Days! It's one of our "go-to" places when we feel like relaxing, hanging out, or having a great burger. Monday nights all of their burgers are $5.55, Tuesday nights they have a hot dog special, and I think Wednesdays are Wing Nights. After 9 p.m., most of their appetizers are at the special price of $5. We've been coming here since my son was little (he's now 18). They used to have a crane machine that he spent much of my hard earned money on, but it was a nice family night and still is. Every square inch of wall space is taken up with TVs, so don't expect a lot of peace and quiet. It's a sports bar, but feels more like a family-friendly mom and pop place. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. The chicken Philly sandwich is terrific, and the burgers I mentioned are juicy and satisfying. Some of their newer menu items are great too -- soft pretzels with crab dip, "rippers" (grilled hot dogs), and soft pretzel sticks with mustard sauce -- are some of the best. My boyfriend and I came here today (12/9/13) after being inside the past 2 days because of the snow and needing some fresh air. We walked in and was greeted promptly, sitting us at the booth near the bar. Our awesome waiter Rodrigo arrived right away asking for drinks. We ended up ordering nachos and fried pickles for appetizers. The nachos were half portion and damn was it big. It was the portion size of regular nachos at other places, so I can't even imagine how big the "regular size portions" are. It was very good, great amount of chili and all the chips were covered in cheese. The fried pickles were delightful, lightly fried and seasoned perfectly. After our fat butts actually finished the appetizers we ordered entrees! (How we even left the restaurant without going to sleep is crazy to me) I ordered the glory wings and my boyfriend ordered the pigskin burger with a side of bbq bacon mac and cheese. My wings were tasty, love the sweet and tang of the glory sauce. The pigskin burger was juicy, had a good amount of pulled pork and bacon on top. On Mondays, burgers are $5.55 which is a great deal! Now, the mac and cheese was MONEYYY. Thick cut pieces of bacon on top of a creamy, gooey, cheesy mac. Oh man I knew it was going to take me to the bathroom but I didn't care I had to get a couple of bites! Rodrigo was an excellent server. He was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, and bringing out refills without us asking. He had some people at the bar and sitting at the high tops but he made sure to make us feel like he didn't forget about us and giving us quick and prompt service. Kudos to you Rodrigo and see I told you this wouldn't be a bad review! :) Overall, food came out hot, fresh and in a timely manner. I've lived so close to this place for so long, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally come by! I enjoyed my time here. The Service - Great with a very nice waitress. The Food - we got cheeseburger sliders and 18 wings (spicy garlic, spicy old bay, and hot). Flavors were all there with a nice crisp. I will always love Glory Days as a local NOVA resident however, I had a manager tell me they don't turn on the sound for the game(s) unless it's the Super Bowl or Stanley Cup finals. As a sports bar, i found this so odd especially since I pointed out that there were 6 tables (in the bar area) of Caps fans who were even decked out in their jerseys (even though my husband and I weren't). He said he still couldn't because it took away from the ambience. I scanned the restaurant and saw only two other tables that were sat. I know they offer tiny speakers for the table but they're always scratchy and out of sync. Glory Days used to be in our weekly rotation of restaurants but because of this, we only visit once a month now. Hopefully this changes in the future. As for the food, I love the rotating seasonal specials, wings with Glory sauce and mushroom swiss burger. read more

Glory Days, Old Keene Mill Rd. is one of those places that come about as close as we get to a "neighborhood bar" that we can call our own. It is friendly, the service is prompt and the food dependably good. The layout allows us to see some activity whether it is other customers, the bartenders or TV's. I last ate there on Sept. 6 for dinner and had a fine experience. Outside seating is sometimes limited to the seats in front of the restaurant, but on a mild night that is a good place to be. Just got take out over $50 with curbside pick up. I told the guy that brought the food out that the lemonade tasted off and we'd like to switch to something else. He told us that there was nothing he could do at that time and just decided that on his own without even speaking to a supervisor. It was just a waste of $8 and he made us feel SO uncomfortable for bringing it up. In addition to that the boneless wings were extremely old and soggy they were completely inedible. My boyfriend and I went to dine in last night like every Friday night, but last night I felt so disappointed in the preparation of the food and the quality, it was terrible. We just can take it to go" because it was a hour before closing. So I let it go and didn't say anything about it. For some reason I have never visited a Glory Days, but my friend said I had to try their wings. When we first walked in the young boy at the front didn't greet us at all. Luckily another hostess came while we were asking for seating and the young boy still just stood there staring at us. Our server was nice and service was quick. Our glory days experience was great. Our service was the best we've ever had, our waitress Diana was quick and reliable. The food was great tasting and my family loved it very much. It is also a sports bar which is a fun place to eat while watching sports. It has decent WiFi but way better than the other establishments I have visited where the WiFi is better off not used.
